Abstract

The incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still high and is a public health problem in Indonesia. One of the efforts to eradicate it is to control the vector, namely the Aedesaegypti mosquito. Eradicating adult mosquitoes through fogging using an insecticide with the active ingredient malathion and sprinkling Abate powder for a long period of time continuously can actually result in non-target animal deaths, loss or death of natural enemies, environmental damage in the form of ecosystem imbalance and Aides population resistance. Utilization of natural materials as an alternative effort that is environmentally friendly and not harmful to other organisms needs to be done. Previous research found that shallot skin (Allium cepa L) contains flavonoid compounds which can be larvicidal, alkaloids, polyphenols, sesquiterpenoids, monoterpenoids, steroids, triterpenoids, acetogenins and quinones. In this study researchers used shallots. This type of research was experimental, which was conducted at the MIPA laboratory at Serambi Mekkah University, the shallots were taken from onion farmers in South Aceh District. The results showed that leeks were extracted using ethanol solvent through FTIR analysis with visible wave absorption indicating the presence of functional groups OH, CH alkanes, C=C cycloalkanes, and CO indicating the presence of flavonoid compounds. GCMS analysis revealed that the shallots from Aceh contain Hexadecanoic acid methyl ester, Octadecadienoic acid and Octadecatrienoic acid. Abstract

Conflict resolution education is an effort to overcome problems faced by students, especially in increasing learning motivation. Students are inseparable from conflict. Both conflicts that occur from within the individual itself (personality) and conflicts that originate from outside the individual (interpersonal) such as conflicts between individuals and groups. Not all students have conflict resolution skills. Meanwhile, conflict resolution skills are very important for students to have to solve the problems faced in their lives in the future. Conflict resolution skills must be done are: able to orient, able to understand that each individual is different, able to see situations, empathize, and blame others, able to manage emotions, able to communicate well, able to think creatively in solving problems, able to think critically in predicting in analyzing conflicts. Abstract

Customs that are sourced from local traditions and knowledge offer alternative perspectives for solutions in environmental management, one of which is sustainable forest governance. Local knowledge contains about how to interact and use resources born of an adaptive process with nature and the environment which is transmitted orally and shared practice from generation to generation. This study discusses the role of the pawang uteun in using their cultural authority as a manifestation of Traditional Ecological Knowledge to respond to the increasingly complex forest governance in Aceh. This research is a literature review research, using library research method. Data obtained from several articles and books, which were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. From the results of the study, it is known that studies related to Pawang Uteun discuss more about the role of institutions, customary law and as Indatu Tradition but very minimally discuss the existence of Pawang Uteun from the perspective of local ecological knowledge and the ecological wisdom of Acehnese indigenous peoples as a solution in overcoming forest destruction. The Pawang Uteun is only seen as a traditional representation but ignores the Pawang Uteun as a manifestation of local knowledge about ecological wisdom. The diminishing role of the pawang utuen (delegation) is directly proportional to the high rate of clearing of forest land cover. Keywords: pawang uteun, ecological wisdom, local knowledge, sustainability.

Abstract

The concept of human capital and strategic human resource management are critical to ensure success. Human capital is crucial to increase assets and give long-term advantages to both an enterprise and a country. However, the COVID-19 pandemic which began in early 2020 and still continues today is the reason behind the issues of health deterioration and low life expectancy rates. Similarly, the quality of learning suffered severe disturbance during the pandemic. As a result, this situation is critical for the overall development of human capital in Indonesia. The government's challenging task in the future is to develop a plan to ameliorate the situation in different affected areas such as health, education, and employment. This article examines various literature and supporting data that are relevant to the role of human capital in development in a country, current conditions, obstacles, achievements, and strategies that must be implemented in the framework of recovery from disruptions caused by the global economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, both of which disrupted the overall economic order. This report also illustrates how Indonesia's situation improves human capital while also highlighting its successes. Keywords: Human Capital, Strategic Management, COVID-19 Pandemic, Human Development
