Abstract

The transformation of learning in the digital era has accelerated the adoption of online systems in higher education, requiring students to develop self-directed learning skills. This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning and the level of students’ learning autonomy based on their perceptions. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 100 undergraduate students from various study programs who had participated in online learning for at least two semesters. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling based on these criteria. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicated that time flexibility was the most appreciated aspect of online learning, followed by content clarity and the use of technology. Conversely, independent learning motivation received the lowest mean score (3.82), highlighting challenges in maintaining intrinsic motivation without direct supervision. These findings affirm that the success of online learning depends not only on digital infrastructure but also on strengthening affective and motivational aspects as well as adaptive instructional design. The implications underscore the importance of pedagogical strategies that foster learner autonomy, meaningful interaction, and emotional support to enhance the long-term effectiveness of online learning.

Abstract

Adolescence is an important developmental stage where individuals begin to form their social identity, which is influenced by various surrounding environments. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence social attitudes in socializing among class IX students at Nurul Ihsan Islamic Middle School, Siantan Hilir, Pontianak City. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques usd are data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The research results show that students' social attitudes are formed from the interaction of various factors, namely the family environment (parenting patterns, communication, harmony), school (relationships with teachers and friends, extracurricular activities, social climate), society (social norms and social involvement), and social media (duration of use and type of content). The dominant social attitudes shown by students include empathy, cooperation, tolerance and respect. However, behavior was also found that did not support social interaction, such as impoliteness, difficulty adapting, and minimal social participation. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between family, school and community in forming positive social attitudes in adolescents. These findings are contextual and cannot be widely generalized due to the limited number of informants and the research location being limited to one school.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Kahoot! Course in improving the learning outcomes of Sociology subject for XI social studies class students at SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur. The background of this study is the low motivation of students to learn and the limited variety of learning methods used by teachers, so that technology-based learning media is needed that can bring interactivity and active involvement of students. The research used a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research instruments were learning outcome tests and motivation questionnaires given before and after treatment. The analysis showed that the experimental group who learned using Kahoot! Course had a significant increase in academic achievement compared to the control group that used conventional methods. In addition, the questionnaire data showed an increase in student motivation and enthusiasm for learning in the experimental group. This finding confirms that Kahoot! Course is effective as an interactive learning media that not only improves learning outcomes, but also encourages students' active participation. The implication of this research recommends the integration of technology-based media such as Kahoot! Course in learning Sociology and other subjects to create a more interesting, collaborative, and meaningful learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student learning motivation through the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achivement Division) method using the filmora application as a support. This study uses a quantitative method with a Quasi Experimental approach and a Pretest-Posttest Control Design design implemented in SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur with 308 students. The sample of this research was class XI-1 as the experimental class and class XI-3 as the control class. Data were collected using pretest and posttest questionnaires on learning motivation, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study revealed a significant difference in learning motivation between the conventional method and the STAD method assisted by the filmora application, stated through hypothesis testing with a t-test. The average posttest value of the control class was 74,41, while the experimental class was 80,23 with a difference of 5,82. It is known that the calculated t value of 6,380 is greater than the t table of 1,996 (6,380 > 1,996), so H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to map and analyze global trends in the use of digital learning media in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education through bibliometric analysis. Using data from journals indexed in Scopus, this study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify research patterns and areas that require further attention. The analysis results indicate that between the years 2015 and 2024, there was a significant increase in the number of publications, peaking in 2024, with 24 documents published. The United States emerged as the main contributor with 51 documents, emphasizing the dominance of educational institutions in the country. Additionally, keywords such as 'digital media,' 'STEM,' and 'learning media' highlight a major focus on the integration of technology in learning. Nevertheless, the number of publications still below 1000 documents indicates that there are still many aspects to explore. This research shows that digital learning media in STEM education is increasingly favored by educators. With the growing attention from researchers and academics in conducting studies on digital learning media and STEM, support from the government and more in-depth research must be developed. Recommendations for further research include deeper exploration of technology integration methods and their impact on student learning outcomes, as well as considering local contexts and languages in research. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to the literature and paves the way for more contextual research in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze spelling errors in poetry texts written by class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Tugala Oyo in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method that focuses on describing in depth the forms of spelling errors made by students. Data were collected through documentation of 30 poetry texts written by students and semi-structured interviews with Indonesian language teachers to obtain supporting information about spelling learning in class. The data were analyzed through the stages of error identification, classification based on the type of error, and interpretation of the cause by referring to the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). The results show that the spelling errors found include the use of capital and non-capital letters, the use of punctuation marks, word writing, and the writing of abbreviations and acronyms. This finding indicates that students' understanding of spelling rules is still low, so teachers need to strengthen spelling learning through additional literature materials and practice in applying spelling in writing literary works.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning learning model using Canva-based video tutorial media at SMK IT Pelita Subana Darma. The method used is quantitative with the type of experimental method with the One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design research design. The population in this study were all class X students of SMK IT Pelita Subana Darma with the sample used in this study, namely class X DKV with a total of 27 students. Research instruments used questions and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, data tabulation test, normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that (1) The results of the application of the project-based learning model using video tutorial learning media show the results of the pretest average questionnaire of 48.52 and the posttest average of 70.00 so that there is an increase of 21.48. (2) Student learning outcomes in drawing subjects before the application of the project-based learning model using canva-based video tutorial learning media (pretest) 54.81 and posttest 78.15. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the significance value is 0.00, where the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.00 <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Kahoot-based instructional media on the learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kuningan. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Data collection instruments included pretest and posttest assessments to measure learning outcomes, as well as a questionnaire to gather students’ responses toward the use of Kahoot. The study involved 15 students from class X TKJ 1. The findings revealed an increase in the average score from 36.73 on the pretest to 40.07 on the posttest. Normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), confirming a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. This indicates that the use of Kahoot had a positive and significant impact on students' learning achievement. Additionally, questionnaire results demonstrated highly positive student responses, with all items meeting strong validity and excellent reliability standards (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.999). These results support the idea that interactive learning tools like Kahoot can enhance student motivation, engagement, and understanding during the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Game Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media on the topic of cultural diversity and local wisdom in improving the learning outcomes IV students at SD Negeri 1 Gandasoli. The research method used was quantitative with a experimental non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were 21 students from class IV-A. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test to measure students’learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the learning model. The data analysis results showed an increase in the average learning outcomes after the application of the Games Based Learning model using wordwall media. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a t-count value of -11,266, which was greater than the t-table value of 2,086, with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05. This indicates a significant difference between the learning outcomes before and after the treatment. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Game Based Learning model assisted by wordwall media is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the topic of cultural diversity and local wisdom. This media can serve as an alternative interactive learning tool to create a fun and meaningful learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The utilization of local materials in Indonesia, such as mocaf flour and corn flour, is still not optimal, thus requiring innovation in food development. One potential product that can be developed is pound cake, which is popular among the community. This type of research is experimental with 9 treatments, involving two independent variables (the proportion of mocaf and corn flour and the addition of parmesan cheese) and dependent variables (sensory characteristics: color, aroma, taste, texture, and overall liking). Data were collected through observations using organoleptic tests conducted with 35 panelists, and data analysis was performed using (Two-Way ANOVA) followed bby Duncan’s post hoc test. The results indicate that the proportions of mocaf and corn flour with theaddition of parmesan cheese do not signifigantyl affect color characteristics, but they do have a significant impact on sensory characteristics regarding aroma, taste, texture, and overall preference. The best product formulation is A1K2 (80 mocaf flour, 20% corn flour, and 15% parmesan cheese), which yields a golden yellow color, balanced aroma, a harmonious sweet and savory taste, and a soft, moist, and dense texture. The nutritional content / 100 g of formulation A1K2 is 42,7% carbohidrates, 11,08% protein, and 4,86% fat.
