Abstract

This research purpose to describe students' mathematical representation abilities in solving mathematics problems in terms of Florence Littauer's personality type. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the research subjects being class VIII students at SMPN 2 Sukodadi, totaling 8 students. This research uses technical triangulation, a Florence Littauer questionnaire to determine students' personality types and tests used to determine students' mathematical representation abilities. The results of this research show that students with a sanguine personality with high ability can complete visual and symbolic representations, students with moderate ability are less able to complete verbal representations, and students with moderate ability are less able to complete all indicators of mathematical representation ability. Choleric personality students with medium ability are less able to complete visual and symbolic representation indicators, low ability students are not able to complete verbal representations, and students with low ability are not able to complete all indicators of mathematical representation ability. Melancholic personality students with high abilities can complete all mathematical representation abilities. Abstract

General elections are a system of election of leaders held in Indonesia every 5 years. In addition, Indonesia is the country with the most Muslim majority in the world. This has led scholars to argue whether elections should be held, and how the Qur'an and Hadith review are valid about elections. The method used in this research is a literature study with a qualitative approach. While the data collection technique used by researchers is a literature method by looking for data and information from various sources such as books, journals, and articles. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that there was no specific argument explaining elections, whereas during the caliph time it used deliberative means or was appointed by previous leaders. The argument contained in the Qur'an and hadith is how to criterion a good leader in Islam. Indonesian clerics argue that elections are permissible in Indonesia and not forbidden because they reduce harm and Muslims can elect leaders who are considered the least harmful.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of internet media as a source of PPKn learning on the learning achievement of class VIII students at Adhyaksa Middle School, Medan, academic year 2023/2024. This research aims to examine the influence of internet media as a source of PPKn learning on the learning achievement of class VIII students at Adhyaksa Middle School, Medan, for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population in this study was Adhyaksa Medan Middle School students using non-random sampling. The sample in this research was Class VIII students with a total of 50 students. The data collection method is through a questionnaire totaling 20 questions for Internet Media, while Learning Achievement is obtained through documentation (Report Scores). The product moment calculation results show that the correlation number between variable X and variable Y is positive, considering the magnitude of rxy obtained, namely 0.6411. Next, to find out whether the relationship is significant or not, the calculated r results are compared with the r table, with r 5% of 0.5140. If you look at the r table, it turns out that rxy is 0.6411. Greater than in the r table, with a significance level of 5%. Thus, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the Null Hypothesis (H0) is rejected, meaning: "There is a significant correlation between the use of Internet Media as a PPKn Learning Source and the Learning Achievement of Class VIII Students at Adhyaksa Middle School Medan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year

Abstract

The objective of this initiative is to improve pronunciation fluency in vocational schools by including a British accent. This study utilized the Wilcoxon signed-rank test as a component to collect both quantitative and qualitative data on product moment SPSS. The data was acquired by pronunciation evaluation test and analysis questions. The data employed in this study was gathered from a vocational school consisting of thirty students enrolled in a hospitality industry and cooking programme. The mean test score is 8.00, and the total amount of ranks is 120.00. According to the statistical test output provided, it is referred to as Asymp. The p-value (two-tailed) is 0.001. Based on the test statistics output above, it is known that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.001, because the value of 0.001 is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded there is a difference between learning outcomes using text transcripts and shadowing BBC Podcasts and those that do not use text transcripts and shadowing BBC Podcasts. The podcast produced by the BBC can enhance language acquisition by improving pronunciation skills, stimulating students' motivation to achieve English competence, and assisting listeners in developing a predominantly British accent
