<![CDATA[Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is an eating disorder characterized by excessive eating without control, which can have an impact on physical and mental health. However, low awareness and negative stigma towards mental health cause many sufferers to be reluctant to seek professional help. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system to diagnose BED early using the Forward Chaining method. This method is used to trace the symptoms experienced by patients to produce initial diagnostic conclusions. The study was conducted at the Bina Karsa Tuntungan Mental Hospital with data collection methods through observation, interviews with expert doctors who know about BED, and literature studies from relevant sources. In addition, the development of the system uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method to produce a system that is fast and according to user needs. The results of the study show that this expert system is able to provide an initial diagnosis of BED based on 11 predetermined symptoms and group patients into five levels of severity. This system also functions as an educational medium regarding BED, so that it can increase public awareness of the importance of mental health. With this system, patients can obtain initial information about their condition and consider further consultation with medical personnel. This research is expected to contribute to detecting BED more effectively and reducing the negative stigma towards eating disorders.]]>

<![CDATA[Improper use of drugs can cause adverse side effects, especially among people with limited access to information such as people living in orphanages. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of residents of the Hasanudin Pandeglang Orphanage regarding the side effects of drugs and the risks of incorrect drug use through educational activities. The method used is health education accompanied by a question and answer discussion and pretest and posttest evaluation using a knowledge questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed to measure participants' understanding of the material presented before and after education. The number of participants in this activity was 57 participants. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge scores after the education. This proves that this educational activity is effective in increasing awareness and understanding of the safe use of drugs. This activity is expected to be a model for similar health education in other orphanages to prevent irrational drug use.]]>

<![CDATA[The advancement of digital technology drives transformation across sectors, including healthcare. However, implementation at the primary care level still faces challenges, as seen at Nusukan Health Center in Surakarta City. This community service activity aims to evaluate the success of digital health transformation through health worker empowerment, particularly in utilizing the Healthy Family Application under the PIS-PK program. Methods used include field observations, interviews, and technical training. Results show that despite prior training and data collection, barriers persist such as miscommunication among staff, task delegation, and delays in updating the Healthy Family Index (IKS). Organizational structure and workload also influence the effectiveness of application use. Empowering health workers through training and role-appropriate task distribution is key to supporting digital transformation.]]>

<![CDATA[Low digital financial literacy, limited understanding of digital marketing strategies, and the absence of clear separation between personal and business finances are the main challenges faced by the partners in managing their businesses. This community service program aims to enhance digital financial recording skills, develop marketing capacity through social media and e-commerce platforms, and promote the adoption of financial separation practices to support professional and sustainable business management. The method consists of three main stages: (1) the initiation and socialization stage, which focuses on identifying and thoroughly understanding the problems, assessing the needs of the partners, and planning the program in detail; (2) the implementation stage, which involves training in financial record-keeping and the use of social media as a marketing tool; and (3) the evaluation and reflection stage to assess program effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement. The results show an increase in MSME actors’ understanding of financial management and digital marketing, which has positively impacted business efficiency, market expansion, and strengthened the MSME’s role as a local economy actor rooted in culture. This program serves as an adaptive and sustainable empowerment model for MSMEs.]]>

<![CDATA[In the digital age, online and offline learning have become the primary methods at UINSU. Online learning offers flexibility but faces challenges such as internet connection issues and limited interaction, while offline learning is considered more effective because it allows for direct interaction despite limited facilities. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of students in the Information Systems Program at UINSU, class of 2023, toward both learning methods and their relationship with academic performance based on GPA. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and inferential methods. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, then tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and chi-square tests at a significance level of 0.05. The results show that students prefer face-to-face learning because it supports direct interaction, increases motivation, and facilitates understanding of the material, while online learning is considered less effective due to technical challenges and low participation rates. The chi-square test revealed a significant relationship between learning methods and GPA, with face-to-face learning contributing more significantly to academic performance. These findings suggest that a hybrid approach has the potential to be an effective solution and provides insights for program administrators in developing learning strategies that align with student needs. This analysis is important as a contribution to the development of more adaptive and relevant educational strategies, as well as a form of academic service to improve the quality of learning in higher education.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has increased online shopping and food delivery, causing a surge in single-use plastic waste and has become a habit to this day along with the rapid development of digital technology. Dream Central Waste Bank (BSI Dream) in Wijaya Pura Village collects 3 tons of waste monthly but lacked advanced plastic processing technology. This community service initiative aimed to implement a pyrolysis reactor to convert plastic waste into fuel oil and paving blocks, thereby enhancing economic value while promoting environmental sustainability. The activity stages included partner coordination and surveys, reactor performance upgrades, operational training, and evaluation. This activity involved five partners representing the Wijaya Pura Village community. The reactor successfully produced fuel oil (density: 0.848–0.912 g/mL) and residues suitable for paving block production. The outcome of this initiative demonstrated improved skills among partners, the creation of marketable products and increased community income opportunities. Furthermore, the activity fostered greater awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management and supported the application of circular economy principles.]]>

<![CDATA[Economic empowerment of women in the dasa wisma group is crucial for improving their welfare and promoting economic independence. Therefore, efforts are needed to empower the economy of this group. This community service activity aims to empower the economic independence of women in the dasa wisma group in Pandes Village, Wedi District, Klaten Regency by providing basic business entrepreneurship training. The training method was conducted with 20 women in the dasa wisma group. It began with data collection through a survey of the training participants aimed at measuring their level of knowledge, skills, motivation, and entrepreneurial initiative before and after the training. The results of this basic business entrepreneurship training activity showed a positive and significant impact on the participants. There was a substantial increase in entrepreneurial knowledge and skills among the women in the dasa wisma group, with an average score increase of 29%. In addition, this training significantly contributed to increasing participants' motivation and initiative in starting or developing their micro-businesses. This business entrepreneurship training program proved to be an effective economic empowerment strategy for the dasa wisma group of women. The implication is the importance of a structured and sustainable entrepreneurship training program. It is recommended that further activities consider the factors supporting and inhibiting business sustainability after training, to ensure maximum long-term impact.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to assist elementary school teachers in creating innovative technology-based learning media using Assemblr Edu and Quizizz. The PKM was conducted at SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang City with 30 participants, who were teachers from SDK Don Bosko 3 and SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang City. The methods used in this activity include lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations, and practical exercises. The first module provided was training on 3D and Augmented Reality-based educational media using Assembler Edu. The second material covered was training on evaluation media using Quizizz paper mode. At the end of the PKM activity, 73.33% of participants were able to create 3D/AR-based learning media or Quizizz paper mode, 26.67% of participants could only create 3D/AR-based learning media, and no participants were unable to complete either or both types of learning media. These results indicate that the PKM activity was conducted successfully.]]>

<![CDATA[Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) cadres are the spearhead of service delivery at the most basic level. They are required to provide services to help pregnant women understand their health issues. This activity aims to analyze the effectiveness of training and health education on cadre knowledge. The research design for this community service activity used a quasi-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted with 18 Posyandu cadres in Kemiri Village. The implementation phase included pre- and post-tests to assess the effectiveness of the training and health education activities. The training, using a participatory and applied approach, provided cadres with information on nutrition for pregnant women, how to identify nutritional disorders, how to assist pregnant women in meeting their nutritional needs, and knowledge about purple sweet potato-based snack foods for pregnant women. The instrument used to measure cadre knowledge was a questionnaire with 20 multiple-choice questions. Data analysis used the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results of the activity showed an average pre-test score for Posyandu cadres of (8.28 ± 0.57) and an average post-test score of (9.39 ± 0.85). Therefore, it can be concluded that there was an increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores for Posyandu cadres. Meanwhile, the analysis of the effectiveness of training and education on maternal nutrition on Posyandu cadres' knowledge showed a P-value of 0.001, thus concluding that training and health education effectively improved cadres' knowledge of maternal nutrition. Cadres, as the most basic service providers, must always receive the latest information to support their duties. Furthermore, the involvement of community leaders and cross-sectoral stakeholders is essential to increase community support and participation.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aimed to improve and assess the digital competence of early childhood education (ECE) teachers through training on the use of Google Workspace for Education at KB Daarul Ilmi. Although some teachers were already familiar with Gmail and Google Drive, the utilization of other features such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Classroom was still limited. The training was conducted face-to-face using a one-group pre–post design over two days, involving all teachers (n=10). A digital skills questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale was administered before and after the training. The results showed that the teachers’ digital competence score increased from 35% in the pre-test to 87% in the post-test (Δ=52%). Data were analyzed descriptively due to the small sample size. These findings indicate that hands-on training with relevant materials can effectively enhance the digital skills of ECE teachers. This program is expected to serve as an initial step toward the digitalization of teaching and learning in early childhood education.]]>
