Abstract

This research aims to describe phonological ability in Dani's pronunciation while reading a text, particularly concerning the deletion, addition, and substitution of phonemes. The method employed is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, utilizing Dani's reading data from Pontianak as the focal point of analysis. Primary data, consisting of observations, tests, interviews, recordings, and notations, forms the basis for understanding Dani's reading approach. Through data collection techniques such as observation, testing, interviewing, recording, and note-taking using devices and record sheets, the research identified phonological errors including inconsistent word shortening due to the deletion of sounds at the beginning and end of words, as well as additional sounds like vowels between consonants in various word positions. This research can enhance understanding of aphasia as a communication disorder that affects reading, writing, numerical skills, and conversation comprehension. It also serves as a significant reference in the field of linguistics for further research.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sering menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, terutama pada materi kompleks seperti program linier. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) berbantuan video pembelajaran Canva terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi program linier di SMK. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto, melibatkan 32 siswa kelas XI SMKN 1 Matan Hilir Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi dan tes pre-test serta post-test hasil belajar. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi siswa dari rentang nilai 32-64 menjadi 59-80, dan hasil belajar meningkat dari rata-rata 50.19 menjadi 79.69, dengan tingkat ketuntasan 87,5%. Uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara motivasi dan hasil belajar, dengan 80.8% variasi hasil belajar dijelaskan oleh motivasi. Kesimpulannya, penerapan CPS berbantuan video Canva efektif meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi matematika di SMK. Disarankan metode ini diterapkan lebih luas oleh guru matematika SMK.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Dayak Kanayatn people's beliefs about the existence of Jubata, the world of binua, magical things, traditional ceremonies described in the Ne' Baruakng Kulub folklore. This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative research forms. The approach used is a literary sociology approach. The data source is a document in the form of folklore. The folklore used is the Ne' Baruakng Kulub folktale. The technique used is a documentary study technique. The tools used are stationery and laptop. The results of this research show that the religious system in the Ne' Baruakng Kulub folklore includes the Dayak Kanayatn community's belief in Jubata which is reflected through parental advice and pamaliatn prayers. Dayak Kanayatn people believe in the existence of the binua world. The Dayak Kanayatn community's belief in magical things includes prohibitions/amali', sacrificial animals, banyu rice, rasi (natural signs), magical worlds, as well as ghosts and magical creatures. The beliefs of the Dayak Kanayatn community in traditional ceremonies include traditional farming ceremonies, traditional baliatn ceremonies, traditional wedding ceremonies, traditional babalak ceremonies, traditional divorce ceremonies. A lesson plan has been designed using the Ne' Baruakng Kulub folklore as learning material, specifically to achieve KD 3.7 and 4.7 class X SMA.

Abstract

This research endeavors to investigate the heightened sense of responsibility among 5-6-year-old children at TK IT Cahaya Bintang, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. Employing a quantitative experimental approach, the study draws data from group B children aged 5-6, utilizing observation sheets comprising checklists and documentation. Initial findings during the pretest observation indicate a nascent development of responsibility, averaging at 49. Subsequent posttest observations, following increased treatment, reveal a noteworthy progression to an expected level, averaging at 67.4.  Statistical analysis through the T-test results in the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho), with the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, as evidenced by tcount ttable (10.531 2.145). This implies a significant impact of the storytelling method on the responsibilities of 5-6-year-old children in IT Kindergarten, Cahaya Bintang District, Kakap River, Kubu Raya Regency. To sum up, the utilization of storytelling in children's activities influences their sense of responsibility, enabling them to comprehend positive and negative traits, characters, and behaviors. It is envisaged that educators can provide suitable stimuli to cultivate responsible attitudes in children, fostering a sense of responsibility for both themselves and others.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the problems faced by students whilestudying at home during the Covid-19 pandemic for Class VIstudents at the State Elementary School 10, East Pontianak. Theresearch method used is a descriptive method with a qualitativeresearch form. The data sources of this research are the sixth-gradestudents of State Elementary School 10, East Pontianak. Thisresearch data is in the form of interviews and questionnaires aboutobstacles in the implementation of thematic learning during thecovid-19 pandemic. The results of the analysis show First, there arestill many teachers who do not conduct context analysis beforemaking lesson plans, do not analyze the learning media used, do notcoordinate with other teachers and do not provide feedback tostudents. Second, WhatsApp and Google Classroom are the mostwidely used applications as learning media. Third, there are severalobstacles experienced by teachers and students during theimplementation of online learning, namely internet access andquotas. Fourth, schools need to provide support to teachers andstudents, especially in providing internet access. Fifth, both studentsand teachers miss face-to-face learning activities directly.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the feasibility of the 2013 SD/MI Curriculum Textbooks for fourth grade students with theme 6 My ideals Subtheme 1 I and my ideals according to Masnur Muslich's theory in terms of content assessment, presentation, linguistic and graphic aspects. This research is included in the descriptive type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The qualitative data analysis technique used is the Miles and Hubermen interactive model. To test the credibility of the data on the results of the study using technical triangulation and source triangulation. The book under study is a 2013 SD/MI curriculum textbook for fourth grade students, theme 6 Sub-theme 1 I and my ideals, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017. The results of this study indicate the assessment in the 2013 SD/Curriculum textbook. MI Student grade IV theme 6 My ideals Subtheme 1 Me and my ideals from the aspects of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, linguistic feasibility, and book graphic feasibility according to indicators to assess the feasibility of textbooks. the final score is 100. However, in terms of presentation feasibility, the examples of questions and learning activities are considered inappropriate because they do not contain examples of questions and in the glossary section there is no understanding and explanation of the terms used in the textbook with a final score 85. Then on the linguistic feasibility, the grammatical accuracy and spelling accuracy are assessed according to partly obtained a final score of 93. Abstract

Reading texts are an important component of Comprehensive Chinese courses, consisting of words, sentences, phrases and grammar. In learning reading texts, students use translation to understand the meaning and significance of reading texts. Therefore, to produce good translation results and avoid errors, the use of appropriate translation methods is necessary. The author uses a quantitative research method to find out the translation methods used by the 2020 Batch Students of Mandarin Language Education Study Program Fkip Untan in translating reading texts in Chinese Comprehensive courses as well as their results on equivalence and translation errors, with the research instrument used in the form of a test. Based on Newmark's theory of translation methods, the results of data analysis showed that students use four types of translation methods which are, literal (87.2%), wordfor-word (7.2%), communicative (4.2%) and free translation (1.5%). The translation errors made by the students are caused by their lack of ability in interpreting a word, errors in placing the word order and word reduction which makes the meaning of the whole sentence ambiguous. Therefore, students' understanding and mastery of the source language text still need to be improved to avoid translation errors or vocabulary mismatches, and to be able to adjust the translation to the rules or customs of the target language.

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research were to determine: (1) the message design that would be used inthe development of adobe flash for the socialization of vocational students in Sintang, (2)the implementation of the message design that would be used in the development of adobeflash for the socialization of vocational students in Sintang, (3) Interest in participating inthe general election of SMK students in Sintang, (4) Awareness and positive attitude ofSMK students in Sintang towards the election after using Adobe Flash. This research is adevelopment research using the Borg Gall development procedure. Data obtained frominterviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that: (1)the design of adobe flash for the socialization of vocational students in Sintang was carriedout through the Borg and Gall stages, (2) the implementation of the socialization ofvocational students in Sintang using adobe flash was included in the very appropriatecategory, (3) the interest of vocational students in Sintang towards the election after usingadobe flash is in the good category, and (4) the critical attitude of vocational students inSintang has raised awareness and a positive attitude towards the election after using adobeflash is in the very good category. Abstract

To understand the process of learning Mandarin in Pontianak Bilingual Kindergarten, the author took Kinderfield Kindergarten and Adicita Mulia Kindergarten as research objects. The research methods used were purpose sampling, interviews and observations. The author will analyze relevant learning materials, learning objectives, learning evaluation, learning environment and learning methods to determine the situation of learning Mandarin in kindergartens in Pontianak. According to the results of data analysis, Mandarin classes are only given once a week at school. Because there is less time to learn Mandarin, the teacher only introduces everyday vocabulary, the aim is for students to understand the meaning of everyday Mandarin vocabulary. Teachers use translation methods, game methods, and object methods to explain vocabulary. Pontianak Bilingual Kindergarten uses various teaching methods to make the class more active, such as using children's songs, playing games together, etc. so that it can increase children's interest in learning and not put too much pressure on children. Students read the vocabulary words one by one and the teacher will evaluate their learning, to see if students have made progress in Mandarin and what help they still need.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran semakin menjadi kebutuhan. Meskipun saat ini sudah banyak model dan metode pembelajaran, masih banyak siswa yang menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami materi pelajaran, terutama dalam bidang yang memerlukan logika dan analisis. Media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu alat yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Siswa akan lebih siap untuk memahami dan menerapkan informasi yang ditawarkan baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas . Sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi informatika, digunakan program Kahoot online sebagai sarana pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini melibatkan satu kelompok siswa yang diberikan pretes sebelum perlakuan dan postes setelah perlakuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Kahoot dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Informatika kelas X menggunakan metode One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Ujian hasil belajar digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Untuk menilai perubahan hasil belajar siswa, skor pretest dan posttest dibandingkan sebagai bagian dari proses analisis data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil postes dibandingkan pretes, yang menandakan bahwa penggunaan Kahoot efektif dalam meningkatkan   hasil belajar siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Kahoot dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya untuk mata pelajaran Informatika di kelas X Di SMA Negeri 1 Jagoi Babang.
