Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to find how strong the effect of the implementation of learning model called project based learning toward students’ achievement in geography class of X IIS of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari. This research was an experimental research which used quasi experimental as the model and used the nonequivalent control group design. The population on this research was all the students of X IIS from SMA Kemala Bhayangkari with total number of students was 63 students. The technique to take the sample used on this research was random sampling. Based on the measurement of the last test on the experimental class, the mean score was 76, 75 and of the control class was 70, 69 with significant 5%. The hypothesis test the fcount was 1, 89 and the ftable was 1, 67. Based on the measurement, fcount > ftable means that Ha was acceptable. So, can conclude there was different on students’ learning achievement in geography class of  X IIS of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari after the implementation of learning model called project based learning. Based on the measurement the effect size was 0, 94 so project based learning model has medium effect toward students’ achievement in geography class of X IIS of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari.Keywords: Project Based Learning Model, Students’ Achievement.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is "social adaptation of male students of class 10 of Madrasa Aliyah at the islamic boarding school Khulafar Rasyidin Sungai Raya". The problem in this research is the students' social adaptation. The purpose of this research is to find out social adaptation of the islamic  students of class 10 in overcoming environmental challenges and the process of adaptation to norms. Form of this research is a descriptive qualitative research. Techniques of data collection are direct observation, interview and documentary study. The research finding shows the success of the students of class 10 in adaptation towards the school environmental, particularly male students; (1) the students could overcome the challenges of the school both positively and negatively. (2) the male students of class 10 could adapt to norms of religion, politeness, morality embraced in the boarding school, although written school rules, certain group of students they remain to break.Keywords: Adaptation, Islamic Boarding School, Male Students

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the influence of Adobe Flash-based animation media towards study result at the topic of fungi for students grade X MIA SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya. The research used quasy experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population was  whole of  X MIA. The samples were taken by saturation sampling technique and decided X MIA 1 as experimental class and X MIA 2 as control class. The instrument was multiple choices consisted of 20 items. The average of  study result of experimental class was 15,10 and the control class was 13,50.  tcount>ttable (4,50>2,00) shows that there is a difference of study result between the students that taught by Adobe Flash-based animation media and taught by Power Point. ES shows that Adobe Flash-based animation media has high influence towards the study result at the topic of fungi and contribute 40,82%. Keywords:    Influence, Adobe Flash-Based Animation Media, Study Result and    Fungi

Abstract

AbstractThe research was based on the lack of students’ writing skill. The evidence was seen from the students writing achievement which were mostly below 80 – minimum passing grade score – where the students were less skilled in writing their ideas. Problem in this research is “how is the use, evaluation to see the achievement, and learning constraints by using discovery learning model with audiovisual media?” This research aims to investigate the use, evaluation to see the achievement, and learning constraints by using discovery learning model with audiovisual to enhance writing ability in developing saga into short story. Method used was descriptive with Classroom Action Research (CAR) model. Technique used was indirect technique namely observation and documentary study. Tools of collecting data were observation guide namely IPKKG 1 and IPKG 2, and student’s scoring sheet. Analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive. The results, showed average score in cycle I was 48,64, while in cycle II, the average score was 71,70, and in cycle III, the average score was 83,58. Thus, the writing ability in developing saga into short story by using discovery model learning with audiovisual media is increased from cycle I, II, and III.          .  Key words: discovery learning model, saga, short story, writing ability.

Abstract

                         AbstractThe aim of the research is to find out whether Indonesian Folktale Movie is effective or not to teach narrative text writing. The research focused on the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak in academic year 2019/2020 by administering a written test about narrative text before and after giving two teaching treatment. The research applied Quasi-Experimental, in which the writer had one class for experimental and one class for control. The sample of this research was X AKL 3 as the experimental group and class X AKL 4 as the control group, which consist of 39 students in each class. The data was calculated and the results showed that the mean score of the experimental group students’ pre-test is 59.4, while the post-test is 79.71. The mean of control group students’ pre-test is 59.69, while the post-test is 61.79. The t-test was higher than the t-table (5.15 1.992). The result of the effect size (ES) was 3,34, which was categorized as a modest effect (ES>0.5). It proved that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. It can be concluded that the Indonesian Folktale Movie is modestly effective to teach students’writing narrative text. Keywords: Indonesian Folktale Movie, Narrative Text, Teaching Writing

Abstract

AbsractThis research is based on the willingness of the researcher to find out the polymetric in music?s acompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak dance of Dayak Kantu? tribe, Kapuas Hulu. Polymetric is the use of two different time signature signs of each instrument that played simultaneously in one composition. The purposes of this research are: 1) The descriptioning of the structure of music?s acompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak dance of Dayak Kantu? tribe, Kapuas Hulu, 2) The analysis of the polymetric in music?s acompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak dance of Dayak Kantu? tribe, Kapuas Hulu. A method used in this research is analysis descriptive method with musicological approachment. The data is analyzed qualitatively. According to the data analysis, music?s accompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak has four parts: tebah bujang berani in the opening, tebah kumang gaga in the middle?, and tebah ansing-ansing in the ending. The polymetric used in the composisition composed by the use of time signature signs in gerumong  instrument 5/4 and 3/4 are different with what used in bebenai, tawak, and ketebong instruments (4/4). Abstract

AbstractThis study focused on observation to the rice farming of Dayak Bakatik dialect Palayo language. Rice farming activity of Dayak Bakatik Palayo community is one of livelihood that still maintained until nowadays. The reseaercher used qualitative research. Methods and research descriptive form. Technigues conducted by researcher  in data collection is speech, fishing, face to face speech technique, note technique, and record technique. Tools data collection used in this research are interview, instrument, stationery, tape recorder, and camera. Based on the study conducted, the research has managet to collect 118 vocabulary. Overall the data consists of 10 classification, that is based on part of rice plant consists of 13 vocabulary,  based on tools and material consist of 37 vocabulary, based on process consist of 25 vocabulary, based on ritual consists of 4 vocabulary, based on rice type consists of 7 vocabulary, based on land type of 4 vocabulary, based on type of weeds consists of 6 vocabulary, based on pests type consists of 10 vocabulary, based on processing the rice consists of 10 vocabulary, and based on myth consists of 2 vocabulary. Lexical meaning consist 92 vocabulary and cultural meaning consist 13 vocabulary.Keywords: Vocabulary, Rice Farming, Dayak Bakatik Palayo

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to describe the social skills of children in multicultural classes at PAUD Rosella Northern Pontianak. The method use in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative research approach. Data subjects in this research are 15 childern in PAUD Rosella Northern Pontianak.. The techniques used in this research were observation and documentation using data collection tools like is observation guidelines, and documentation picture. The results of data analysis show that social skills of children in multicultural classes at PAUD Rosella Northern Pontianak are good.Emphaty attitude of children in multicuktural classes is good, especially in attentive attitude, tolerance, caring for the others without discriminating religion,can be seen from the child wants to listen to his friends who talk or telling stories. Positive habituation in multicultural classes is good, especially in manners, social responbility, and independence.Can be seen from children using polite language when talking with others,the child apologize when they make mistakes, the child say thank you when helped,the child tidy up their toys after they finish playing.Keyword          : Children, Social Skills, Multicultural

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the ability to tell storiesthrough free drawing in group B TK LKIA II Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive. The research approach uses a qualitative appoarch and the form of this research is action research assisted by the class teachers as collaborator. The subjects of the study were children of group B (5-6 years) totaling 16 people consisting  of 3 women dan 13 men. Data collection techniques used in this study were observastion and documentation, while data collection tool was an observation sheets and documentation. This research was conducted in two cycles with assessment criteria, namely to tell pictures that were made and express words clearly. The abilty to tell pictures made in the first cycles was 12,5%, then increased in the second cycle to 81,25% and the ability to express word clearly in the first cycle by 25%, then increased in the second cycle to 87,5%. Based on the study an increase in the ability to tell stories through free drawing in group B TK LKIA II Pontianak. So the implication is that the teacher can apply free drawing activities to improve chilldren’s storytelling abilities. Keywords:Storytelling Ability,  Free Drawing, Children Aged 5-6 Years

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to look at the effectiveness of cooperative learning using the representation of moral language on the material arithmetic operations of integers. The method used in this study is an experimental method with an improper form of experimentation. The method used in this study is an experimental method with an improper form of experimentation. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A consisting of 29 students. Data collection tools used were written tests in the form of essays and direct observation. Based on data analysis, it is known that the implementation of learning belongs to the good category, the activities of students in the learning activities are quite active, and the completeness of student learning outcomes in learning is incomplete classically.The contributing factors are because the researcher cannot grasp the class, the activity possessed by students is low and the lack of understanding of integer arithmetic operations. So that cooperative learning using moral language representations is less effective in integer arithmetic operations. Keywords: Effectiveness, Cooperative Learning, Integer Count Operations
