Abstract

AbstrackThe research was aimed to find out the effect of powtoon toward motivation and learning outcomes  on the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak about Elements, compounds and mixtures subject material. Purposive sampling used to selecting the sample. The essay test and questionnaire about students? motivation were used as instruments. The posttest results of both class were analyzed using the U-Mann Whitney test with a= 5%. The result showed that the value of  Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000. It indicated that there was a  difference between learning outcomes in control and experiment class. The questionnaire about students? motivation results of both class were analyzed using the U-Mann Whitney test with a= 5%. It also revealed the value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) at 0.000. It indicated that there was the difference students? motivation in control and experiment class. Powtoon as the media in learning procces effected toward the students?learning  outcomes as much as 40.66%.  Kata kunci: Powtoon, Unsur, Senyawa dan Campuran, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this thesis is to increase the learning outcomes of grade III student in learning mathematics in elementary school. The purpose of this thesis is to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning using manipulative media. The method used is descriptive. This form of research is a classroom action research consisting of 4 stages of processing, namely the planning stage, the implementation phase, the observation phase, and the reflection phase. Data collection tools used are observation sheets to measure the ability of teachers to plan and implement learning and test to measure student learning outcomes. The results of research that has been done obtained student learning outcomes in mathematics learning using manipulative media in grade III public Elementary Schools 15 Benteng Kecamatan Teriak Bengkayang has increased, in cycle 1 meeting 1 student who achieved completeness as many as 18 people (75,00%) with average grades average 70,83, in cycle 2 meeting 1 student who achieved completeness as many as 20 people (83,33%) with an average value of 76,88, and in cucle 3 meeting 1 student who achieved completeness as many as 22 people (91,67%) with average grades average 84,58. While in cycle 1 meeting 1 student who achieved completeness as many as 18 people (75,00%) with average grades average 69,58, in cycle 2 meeting 2 student who achieved completeness as many as 19 people (79,17%) with an average value of 74,79, and in cucle 3 meeting 2 student who achieved completeness as many as 22 people (91,67%) with average grades average 82,08. The conclusion is there is an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning using manipulative media. Keywords: Improvement, Learning Outcomes, Manipulative Media, Mathematics

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to know the difference result of social studies learning by using cooperative learning type make a match in class VIII D and VIII E of MTs N 2 Pontianak. The main problem of this research is, “is there any differences on student’s result in social studies learning by using cooperative learning make a match  method in class VIII D and VIII E of MTs N 2 Pontianak”. The specipic problem of thie research is “how is the imlementation of using cooperative learning make a match method in class VIII D and VIII E of social studies learning MTs N 2 Pontianak? How is the result of social studies learning by using make a match method in class VIII D and VIII E of MTs N 2 Pontianak? Is tere any differences on students result in social studies learning by using make a match method in class VIII D and VIII E of MTs N 2 Pontianak?”. The variable in the research is cooperative learning make a match method and social studies result. Pre-experimental one shoot case study is the method that used in this research. Participants of the research are class VIII D dan VIII E in total 74 students. Data is collected by using direct communication technique, direct observation technique, documentary study technique and measurement technique. The results showed that using by make a match method, the mean score of class VIII D is 10,24 and class VIII E is 10, 62. Next, t-test is used to explaine either there is any differences. T-test showed tcount < ttable, because tcount < ttable -1,633 < 1,993 so Ho is accepted and there is no difference in students result in social studies learning by using cooperative learning make a match method between class VIII D and VIII E of MTs N 2 Pontianak. Keywords :  Cooperative learning make a match method, learning result, social studies lerning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine differences misconception before and after remediation and the effectiveness of remediation using refutation text reading to correct misconceptions of students of class XII IPA in senior high school Panca Bhakti Pontianak academic year 2018/2019 on acid-base material. The form of research used is experimental (Pre-Experimental Design) with the design of the One-Group Post-Test Pre-Test. Data are 28 students with purposive sampling technique. The test used is a multiple choice of  diagnostic test with closed reasoning. Based on the results of data analysis, there was a decrease in the average percentage of students' conceptual errors of 35.36%. Differences in student learning outcomes were tested by t-paired and obtained significance results of 0,000 which showed data had differences between before and after remediation with refutation text. The effectiveness of remediation with refutation text on acid-base material gives an average yield of 0.45 belonging to the medium category. Remediate with refutation text is effective reduce students' misconceptions. Keywords: refutation text, remediation, misconception, acid base.

Abstract

AbstractThe multiplicity of students colors the language usage of students in the school environment, especially in Pontianak Gembala Baik High School. Whereas in the use of language, Gembala Baik High School students are said to be bilingual because mastery of the first language and second language is equally good. The method used in this study is a descriptive method using SPEAKING analysis from Hymes. Of the 14 data, there are 36 words which are included in the field of language of phonology. In addition to the phonological level, there is also a clause at the semantic level, as well as mixed code out in the form of fragments of words, phrases, and clauses in English and Chinese. Whereas insertion in Chinese includes words, phrases and clauses. There is an event of code mixing in the form of inserting words in Javanese. Code switching is in phrases in English and Chinese as well as sentence code switching. And code switching in the field of phonology. Interference in the field of phonology, fields of morphology, interference in the field of syntax, and semantic field interference, as well as lexical field interference. There are 19 data visual integration, 7 data integration direct translation, and 2 integration concept translation.Keywords: code mixing, code switching, interference and integration

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar  siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam menggunakan media gambar pembelajaran ciri-ciri makhluk hidup di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Bakuan Kecamatan Lembah Bawang Kabupaten Bengkayang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari sikus I sebesar 61, kemudian meningkat menjadi 79 pada siklus II. Selisih peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 18. Dengan demikian skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dinyatakan belum tuntas karena tidak mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 65, kemudian pada siklus II dinyatakan tuntas. Pada kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran ciri-ciri makhluk hidup pada siklus I memperoleh skor 2,27 meningkat menjadi 3,29 pada siklus II, selisih 1,02. Sedangkan skor pada kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran ciri-ciri makhluk hidup pada siklus I adalah 2,55 meningkat menjadi 3,4 pada siklus II, selisih 0,85.   Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Media Gambar, IPA Abstract: The purpose of this study is to get the accurate information to improve students’ learning result in science teaching through picture media about live creature characteristic study in class III State-owned Elementary School 03 Bakuan Lembah Bawang Subdistrict Bengkayang Regency. The method of this research used is the descriptive method. There is increased of students’ learning result in the first cycle is 61, and then increased up to 79 in the second cycle. Thus the score of the subjection mean of students’ learning result in the first cycle is clarify not complete yet because it is not getting up to the Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (MEC) is 65, thus in the second cycle is clarify completed. At the teacher’s capability of learning planning about live creature characteristic in the first cycle is 2,27 is increased up to 3,29 in the second cycle, there is a difference 1,02. Whereas the score of the teacher’s compability in teaching about live creature characteristic in the first cycle is 2,55 is increased up to 3,4 in the second cycle, there is a difference 0,85   Key words: Learning result, Picture Media, Science

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of Canadian board media with canoe sprint simulation on canoe sprint rowing skills in beginner athletes of the Rowing Sports Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Tanjungpura University Pontianak. This study used an experimental method using the pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in the study is the group of beginner athletes of Rowing Sports Student Activity Unit of Tanjungpura University Pontianak. The data were taken through total sampling. The data collection technique used is the skill test using the canoe sprint. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and t-test. From the results of the analysis, there is a significant effect on the training using the Canadian board media with canoe sprint simulation on canoe sprint rowing skills of the athletes. The results of the t-test analysis showed the value of tcount is greater than ttable, 2,90 > 2,26. The percentage effect of using the Canadian board media with canoe sprint simulation on the canoe sprint rowing skills of the Rowing Sports Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Tanjungpura University Pontianak is 23%. Keyword: Canadian Board Media, Canoe Sprint, Paddling Skill

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis thesis is a study Drilling Vocabulary by Using Jumbled Letter to the Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 02 Semparuk, Sambas Regency, in Academic Year 2013. The purpose of the research is to find out how effective the scrambled letters is minimize the difficultes in vocabulary accurately to Class VII C Students of SMP Negeri 02 Semparuk, Sambas Regency, in Academic Year 2013/2014.The method of this research is class room action research method. The sample of his research is Class VII C Students of SMP Negeri 02 Semparuk, Sambas Regency, in Academnic Year 2013/2014 wich consisted of 30 students. The data of this research were collected by measurement technique. The measurement technique was employed to measure the students’ achievement and it is done trough written tes.The findings of this research analyzed by the result of the students’ score  in the first cycle and second cycle. The result of the research was the total score of first cycle = 136 with mean score (4.86) it is qualified “average to good”. The mean score of posttest (7.25) is bigger than the mean score of pretest (4.86), with score 2.39. the conclusion of this research was the drilling vocabulary through jumbled letters was effective to be applied in improving the students’ achievement in spelling. Key Words: Teaching Speaking, Through Retelling, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam  menggunakan metode kerja kelompok di kelas 11 pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Nomor 05 Terduk Dampak. Dalam matode ini  metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptip.Deskriptip ini merupakan prosedur pemecahan masalah yang diselidiki dengan menggambarkan keadan objek/supjek penelitian pada saat sekarang berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak atau sebagaimana adanya. Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 1,75 %. Dengan demikian skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I cukup kemudian pada siklus II dikatagorikan sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Metode Kerja Kelompok   Abstract : The general objective of this study was to describe the learning outcome of students in the learning of Natural Sciences using group work in class 11 at State Primary School No. 05 Terduk Impact . In this matode Deskriptip.Deskriptip method used is a troubleshooting procedure keadan investigated by describing the object / supjek research at the present time based on the facts that appear or as it is. There is an increased learning outcomes in the first cycle to the second cycle of 1.75 % . Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to explain the conceptual understanding of students refer to  SOLO taxonomy in the material of exponential function at SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The research method used is explorative descriptive method. The subject of the research are 10 students class of X IPA 6 in SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. Subject taking was done by giving a SOLO taxonomy test first and then each of the 2 subjects selected representing each of the SOLO taxonomy levels was selected. The technique of collection data used are written tests and interviews. The tools of collection data used are test instrument, interview guide, voice recorder, and camera. The result of the data analysis of this research showed that students conceptual understanding of SOLO taxonomy is very low category with a percentage of 54%. The students conceptual understanding of level 0, level 1, and level 2 is very low category with a percentage of 34%, 44%, and 53%. Meanwhile, level 3 is low category with a percentage of 59%. Furthermore, level 4 is high category with a percentage of 81%. Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Solo Taxonomy, Exponential Function
