Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the performance of a librarian in the of Tanjungpura University. The purpose of this study is to find out how big is the role a librarians in serving the librarian in Tanjungpura University. An institution library is a library located in the area of Higher Education with the aim to provide information to researches who need it. Thearfore, in a library must have manager who understands in the field if library science. The manager is called a Librarian. The Librarian is an expert in the field of library science, working as a collection organizer  and also as a manager of information. A librarian performance should also be noted because to support a beeter library. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the level of learning outcomes in a football heading using a rubber ball on a fifth grade students of SDN 14 Sungai Putat. Forms of research is classroom action research. Subjects in this study were students of class V SDN 14 Sungai Putat. The total number of class students are as many as 26 students consisting of 14 boys and 12 female student . Based on the results of the study in the first cycle are the result of the thoroughness with the number of 18 students, or about 69%, and students who have not completed amounted to 8 students or by 31%. While the second cycle there is a category of student outcomes to complete all of the graduating students, totaling 26 students or equal to 100% and unresolved amounted to 0 or does not exist Keywords: Heading, Ball Rubber

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is that some students learn only by depending on their friends, not discipline while studying, often cheat, do not pay attention when the teacher explain the lesson so that learners can not understand the lesson that has been given by subject teacher. The purpose of this research is to know if there is influence of information service effective way to student independence in class XI in SMA academic year. The method used is descriptive method with relationship study form and using quantitative approach. The data collection tools used are observation, questionnaire and interview. Based on the results of data analysis shows that the effect of information services on how effective learning on student self-reliance in high school reaches a score of 96% in the high category while the independence of learning in high school students reached an 83% score in the high category. The result of determination index calculation to find out the influence of information service on effective learning method toward student's learning independence in SMA using formula x 2 = 100% = 2500% = 2500% = meaning of information service contribution effective learning towards learning independence is 25% and there are still 75% other variables not examined in this study. Learners are influenced by other variables not obtained in this study. Based on the explanation can be concluded that, there is a significant influence that is 25% of the influence of information services effective way of learning to the independence of students in high school.Keywords :Information Services, How effevtive learning, Learning Independence

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS menggunakan tipe Student Teams Achivement Divisions kelas IV SD Negeri 16 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terhadap kemampuan guru menyusun rencana pembelajaran siklus 1 sebesar 3,27 katagori baik, siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,18 menjadi 3,45 kategori baik , dan siklus 3 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,36 meningkat menjadi 3,81 kategori baik sekali. Kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran siklus 1 sebesar 3,10 katagori baik, siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan 0,40 menjadi 3,50 kategori baik sekali, dan siklus 3 mengalami peningkatan 0,42 baik sekali sehingga menjadi 3,92. Aktivitas siswa siklus 1 sebesar 62,00%  kategori cukup, siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan  14,00% menjadi 76,00% kategori tinggi, dan siklus 3 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4% sehingga meningkat menjadi 80,00% kategori tinggi. Dengan menggunakan tipe Student Teams Achievement Division dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran serta aktivitas siswa.   Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Pembelajaran IPS, Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the increased activity of students in social studies using a type Student Teams Achievement Divisions Elementary School fourth grade 16 South Pontianak. The method used is descriptive. The results obtained on the ability of teachers to plan learning cycle of 3.27 category 1 well, cycle 2 was increased by 0.18 to 3.45 both categories, and 3 cycles experienced an increase of 0.36 increased to 3.81 both categories once. The ability of teachers to implement the learning cycle of 3.10 category 1 well, 2 cycles increased 0.40 to 3.50 both categories once, and 3 cycles has increased by 0.42 to 3.92 so splendidly. Student activity cycle 1 at 62.00% enough category, cycle 2 has increased from 14.00% to 76.00% higher category, and 3 cycles increased by 4%, raising it to 80.00% higher category. By using the type Student Teams Achievement Division can improve the ability of teachers to plan and implement learning and student activities. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze how much influence from the use of project based learning model to the increase of natural science of natural outcomomes of fourth graders of public elementary school 16 pontianak east. The population in this study were all the fourth graders of the state elementary school 16 pontianak east consisting of two classes IVa and IVb. Samle of research that is 30 control class student and 34 student of experiment class of much 64 student. Result of data analysis, obtained by mean of result of student learinng control class equal to 75,47. The ruslt oh hypothesis ( t- test) separated varians. Data collection techniques used in this study is a measurement technique, the instrument used is a form of test in the form of multiple choice with the amount of 50 questions. The result of t- test got thitung 2,1303  amounted to 1,6693 and ttabel (α = 5% with dk = 38) that is meant thitung (4,2391) > ttabel (1,6693), so Ha is received. So, it can be concluded that there is effect procect based learning model of learning result of Natural Science Students class IV SDN 16 Pontianak east. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out the influence of parental care pattern on the discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Integrated Cheers Kecamatan Sungai Kakap. The method used in this research is descriptive with quantitative approach of correlational cause and effect form. The number of samples used as many as 32 children, namely children aged 5-6 years. The location of the research was conducted in PAUD Integrated Cheers Kecamatan Sungai Kakap. Data collection techniques used closed questionnaires and documentation. Data validity using Moment Product Correlation techniques. Data reliability using Croncbach's Alpha technique. Data from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis, simple linear regression analysis and t test. The results of this study indicate that the parenting pattern of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Integrated Cheerful Kakap River District included into the category of interval class is with the percentage of 62.55%. Disciplinary Behavior of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Integrated Cheerful Kakap River District included into the category of interval class with a percentage of 62.5%. The result of simple linear regression analysis showed that there is a positive influence between parenting parenting with discipline behavior of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Integrated Cheers Kecamatan Sungai Kakap with regression coefficient value of 0.484. This is reinforced by t test which shows that the tcount is bigger than ttable (2,718> 1,697), which means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus parenting pattern has an influence on the behavior of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Integrated Cheers Kecamatan Sungai Kakap.  Keywords: Parenting Pattern, Discipline Behavior.

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of a pocket book as a medium of learning on mushroom material of at the tenth grade of senior high school. This research was a qualitative research with descriptive method. Pocket book made as a medium of learning using double glossy paper side with a length of 13 cm and 9.2 cm wide. The pocket book consists of cover, introduction, table of contents, contents, bibliography and attachments. The pocket book was validated by five validators consisting of two lecturers of Biology Education Program, Faculty of Education Tanjungpura University and one of biology teacher at SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa, one biology teacher at SMA Kristen Maranatha and one of biology teacher of SMAN 1 Sungai Ambawang. Based on the results of media validation analysis that has been given by the five validators, then obtained the average total validation is 3.76 (valid) which means pocket book media worthy of use as a medium of learning on mushroom material tenth grade of senior high school. Keywords : medium of learning, mushroom, pocket book

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by researchers’ concerns about oral literature that were almost extinct and forgotten by the community. The problem of this research was devoted to local wisdom which was reflected in the folklore of the Kapuas Hulu Malay community which was divided into four problems,  namely how local wisdom relates to belief systems, livelihood system, local norm, and the implementation of literary learning in schools. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to describe the belief system, livelihood system, and local norm reflected in the folklore of the Kapuas Hulu Malay community, as well as the implementation of learning in schools. There are eight foklore to be analyzed, namely Gumak dengan Adekia, Apang Aloi Beuma, Batu Lobor, Bunga Simpor, Apang Sekumang dan Apang Saji, Kenturon Antu Remaong, and Tok Paga dan Si Katamba.The result of this study was first: the belief system is divided into two, namely believing in superanatural things and believing in ghosts. Second: the livelihood system is divided into four namely farming (farmers), fishermen, hunting and gathring, and trading. third: local norm were divided into three, namely, local norm related to oneself, local norm that relate to humans and other human beings, and local norm that relate to humans and God. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengungkap pengaruh gender dan strategi pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Kota Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh bahwa nilai sig untuk gender adalah sebesar 0,306 > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh gender. Nilai sig untuk strategi pembelajaran adalah sebesar 0,986 > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh strategi pembelajaran. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa laki-laki dengan perempuan yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak perbedaan rata-rata pemecahan masalah matematika yang dipengaruhi oleh gender.   Kata Kunci : Pemecahan Masalah, Strategi Pembelajaran, Gender.   Abstract: The main pupose of this research is to know the influence of gender and learning strategy toward the matematic problem solving ability of the elevent grade students in SMA Negeri 5 Kota Pontianak. This research used the quantitative approach by using factorial 2 x 3 design. The research  finding was obtained based on the matematic problem solving ability test. From the result of the problem solving ability test, it found that the gender sig score was 0,306 > 0,05, thus it concluded that there was no different on the student’s matematic problem solving ability average score which influenced by gender. The sig score for the learning strategy was 0,986 > 0,05, it can concluded that there was no different in the student’s matematic problem solving ability averagescore which was no different in the student’s average score between boys and girls on the problem solving ability. Based on the data analysis, it can concluded that there was no different on the matematic problem solving average scores which was influenuedbygender. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the understanding of students' concepts in the matter of addition and subtraction operations of fractions which are not the same denominator. An indicator of  understanding concepts : 1) students' understanding of expressing fractions into other forms of fraction that are worth the sum; 2) students' understanding of using, utilizing, selecting procedures for addition and subtraction of fractions. This research uses descriptive method in the form of case study research with research subjects in this study were seventh grade students of Boedi Oetomo Junior High School. The results showed that in the of understanding concept that states fractions to other forms of fractions that are worth the sum in the addition operation and subtraction operation problems with different denominator are included in the good category but understanding the concept of using, utilizing, selecting the procedure for addition and subtraction operations for fractions with different denominator are included in the low category. Keywords : Understanding of concepts, Counting operation, fractions material
