Abstract: The purpose of this research is to design teaching material to help students in learning vocabulary with anti-corruption topic in supporting character education to students in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak academic year 2015/2016. The completed research was implemented to the first semester of eleventh students in SMA Muhamadiyah 1 Pontianak. There were 30 students who actively involved in this research. The method of this research was development research which consisted of four phases: analyze, design, develop, and implement or called ADDI. The result of the research is a design of teaching material comic to help students in learning vocabulary with anti-corruption topic in supporting their character education. The comic was used for one class meeting on Giving Suggestion topic. On the implementation, based on the observation and feedbacks both from the students and the teacher, it was found that anti-corruption comic was usable for students in learning vocabulary to support their character education of anti-corruption on Giving Suggestion topic. Â Key words: Development Research, Vocabulary, Anti-Corruption, Comic Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang bahan ajar untuk membantu siswa dalam mempelajari kosa kata yang berhubungan dengan topik anti-korupsi dalam rangka pendidikan karakter kepada siswa-siswi di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini diimplementasikan kepada siswa-siswi kelas sebelas di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Terdapat 30 siswa-siswi yang terlibat aktif dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: analisis, desain, pengembangan, dan implementasi atau disebut ADDI. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan materi pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk membantu siswa-siswi dalam mempelajari kosa kata yang berhubungan dengan topic anti-korupsi dalam rangka membantu pendidikan karakter mereka. Materi ajar komik digunakan di dalam satu pertemuan belajar dalam topic Giving Suggestion. Pada tahap implementsi, berdasarkan observasi dan umpan balik baik oleh siswa-siswi maupun guru, didapati bahwa komik anti-korupsi dapat digunakan bagi siswa dalam mempelajari kosa kata untuk membantu pendidikan karakter anti-korupsi pada topic Giving Suggestion Kata Kunci: Penelitian Pengembangan, Kosa Kata, Anti-Korupsi, Komik

AbstractThis thesis aimed to know the use of picture series in power point presentation in improving students’ writing in narrative text to the tenth grade students of MAN 1 Pontianak. This study was conducted through classroom action research. The subject of this research was 40 students of class X A. The writer worked collaboratively with the English teacher in the class. The writer did three cycles in this research. The data collected through qualitative and quantitative approach. The result of this study showed that the use of picture series in power point presentation can improve the students’ writing in narrative text. Based on the qualitative data, the use of picture series in power point presentation as the media in teaching and learning process helped the students to enjoy and get more attention to follow the lesson. Through picture series the students became more active and involved in teaching learning process. By looking at the order of the picture series in power point presentation the students were able to generate and develop their ideas. Based on quantitative data, the students also gained significant improvement in their writing performance. It could be seen that the students’ writing ability improve from first cycle to the third cycle. It can be concluded that picture series in power point presentation proved the students’ writing ability of tenth A grade students of MAN 1 Pontianak. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi di SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk studi hubungan. Jumlah populasi adalah 204 dengan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dan lembar catatan atau dokumen dari sekolah yang bersangkutan berupa foto dan daftar nilai siswa. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana berbantuan SPSS versi 16.0. Hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi di SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya sebesar 38% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak peneliti teliti lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Mata Pelajaran Sosiologi  Abstract : The purpose of this research is to know the influence of learning motivation toward sociology learning outcomes at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Province. The research methods used descriptive in the form of interrelationship studies. The population in this research is 204 students with sample size of 60 students with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is technique of indirect communication dan documentary studies. The collection tool is questionnaire and note sheet from the school such as photo and student score list. The data processing using simple linear regression analysis with assisted of computer SPSS version 16.0. The analysis results verify that there is the influence of learning motivation toward sociology learning outcomes at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Province amount 38% while the rest is affected by other variables which researcher are not thoroughly further. Abstract The negative impact of the use of facebook is a result caused the use of facebook excessively that can give rise to abuse and diversion to brpengaruh directly to the consumer, and often waste time just to tamper with his facebook account, if not used wisely facebook will have a negative impact to pengggunanya it sendiri..Oleh because the researchers wanted to know more profound analysis of the negative impact on teenagers facebook IPS class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya.A common problem in this research is "How does a negative impact on teenagers facebook IPS class X SMA KEMALA Bhayangkari Kubu Raya. Sub-problems: (1) What are the negative effects on teenagers Psychological facebook IPS class X SMA KEMALA Bhayangkari Kubu Raya? (2) What are the negative effects on teenagers facebook Physiological class X IPS SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya? (3) Any negative impact on teenagers facebook Sociological class X IPS SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya?The research variables are facebook negative impact on teenagers. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach to shape analysis. This research sample numbering 69 classes X IPS SMA Bhayangkari Kubu Raya. Data collection techniques in this study is the technique of indirect communication, data collection tool was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by calculating the percentage. Based on the analysis of negative effects on teenagers facebook IPS class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya as a whole reached 65% by the category of "Low". AbstractThis reseach aims to know the feasibility of pop-up book media variety of macroscopic fungi in Hutan Lindung Gunung Naning, as a learning media on biodiversity material in X SMA. This reseach consist of two step. First step is making of pop-up book media and second step is validation of pop-up book media. This reseach was quantitative with descriptive method. Pop-up book media validated by five validators, two lecture pg biology Education FKIP Untan, and there teachers of biology X SMA. One teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Nanga Taman, one teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hulu, and one teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Nanga Mahap. Instrument for validation pop-up book media using validation sheet comprise of ten criteria, with analysis data using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan Content Validity Indeks (CVI). Based on data analysis of the validation result, pop-up book media is valid with the value of each Content Validity Ratio (CVR) from ten criteria is 1,00 with Content Validity Indeks (CVI) value is 1,00, so pop-up book media fit to use as learning media on biodiversity material.Keywords: Pop-up book Media, Feasibility, Material Biodiversity

Abstract The purpose of this research is to identify one of local wisdom in Dayak Taman tribe, that is farming activities that relevant to the school mathematics concept. The method in this research is qualitative descriptive the research type is qualitative and the research from is ethnomathematics. The subject in this research are traditional leaders and the sociely of Dayak Taman tribe in Bali Gundi traditional house, Kapuas Hulu district. In this research there are four farming activities, that is Ngegak Tanah, Nunu, Nugal and Pasca Panen and there are four farming tools, that is Kulak, Ronyong, Tikar and Tangoi thar relevant to school mathematics concept. The mathematics concept are navigation, speed, algebra, measurement and geometry. The worksheet form in this research is used Problem Based Learning (PBL) sourced local wisdom, that is one of farming activities in Dayak Taman tribe the material of the worksheet are directly proportional and inversely propotional for Junior High School Student. AbstractThis research aims to determine the validity of guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision. The method that was used in this research was development research with 11th student grade of MIA 4 Senior High School Number 1 Pontianak on academic year 2016/2017 as the research subject with total 28 students. This research had done in two phase consist of preliminary and formative evaluation. Validation sheet was used as the techniques of data collection. Guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision were validated by lecturer and teacher. As the research result, guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision was declared very valid with Vc=1,00. It has four aspects, these are feasibility content, language, dish, and graphic. So it can be concluded that guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision is very valid to be used in the learning process.                                                                            Keywords: student worksheet, guided inquiry, development research, human respiratory systemÂ

Abstract This study aims to obtain data and information about the principal?s leadership and work climate to do with the competency of teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach to the descriptive format of the survey. The study population consists of 92 people who are teachers, civil servants, minimal education DIV or S1 with a minimum of three years teaching experience drawn from four State High Schools in Sintang Regency. The population will then be sampled 75 respondents who later conclusions of this study will apply to the population. This study used a questionnaire as data collection techniques. Furthermore, based on the data analysis result in (1) 84.36% the principal?s leadership of all State High Schools in Sintang Regency included in the category of effective to very effective. (2) 83.58% the work climate of all State High Schools in Sintang Regency are included in the category is conducive to very favorable. (3) 83.10% the teacher?s competency of all State High Schools in Sintang Regency included in the category of good to very good. Keywords: Leadership, Work Climate, Teacher?s Competency

AbstractSpeech acts have a function as a communication tool to convey the message or speaker's intent to the speech partner. During the debate, the debate participants argued that they expressed their vision and mission to convince the public to choose one of the candidates for Singkawang mayor and deputy mayor in 2017 and an implementation plan in Indonesian language lessons at school. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data in the study were transcribed speech sentences that contained speech acts of promises and offer commissives contained in the public debate of the mayor and deputy mayor of Singkawang in 2017. The techniques used were documentary techniques. The data collection tools used in the study is the researcher herself as instruments. Based on the results of the analysis of the commissive speech act data in the debates of the 2017 singkawang mayor and deputy mayor candidates, the researcher found out 33 data on the commissive speech acts, which are consist of 22 commissive promises of speech acts and 11 offer speech acts. This research was implemented in the high school grade X class 2 semester at basic competencies (KD) 3.12 connects problems/issues of perspectives and arguments of several parties and conclusions from the debate to find the essence of the debate. AbstractThe objective of the study was to find out whether or not the use of pantomime video can increase the students’ descriptive text writing achievement. The data was collected and analyzed with the non-equivalent control group design. Based on the test result, the writer discovered a good result that was shown by the effect size which was 1.24 and it was qualified as strong effect. In this case, the use of pantomime video can attract the students’ attention in learning descriptive text writing. The students know how to organize their ideas and state that ideas on a paper. In conclusion, the use of pantomime video to the Tenth Grade Students of SMA Negeri 1 Siantan in Academic Year 2016/2017 can increase their descriptive text writing achievement with strong effect.
