Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of creativity between children in group B who were given a finger painting game with those who were not given a finger painting game. The method used is a good experimental method using pretest-postes group design and uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 124 and the sample was 38 children divided into control and experimental groups. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentary techniques, while data analysis techniques use an average formula. Based on the results of this study showed that the average of the larger experimental group compared to the average control group. After being given treatment that is 11.26 experimental groups, 6.68 control groups. From the results of the calculation of the t test with the help of the application (SPSS), it is known that the t_count value is 4.066. While the value of ttabel with a significance level of 5% for one side and 0.025 (for two sides) with degrees of freedom (n_1 + n_2-2) = (19 + 19-2) = 36, then obtained 2,028. Because the value of t_count> t table (4.066> 2.028), the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. That is, there is the effect of playing finger painting on the creativity of the group B children in the Harapan Indah Islamic Kindergarten in West Pontianak. The influence of 31% is calculated using the formula of coefficient of determination. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a higher order thinking test instrument and explain the higher order thinking skill of students at class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. This research is in the form of research and development with the type of research is the instruments development. The higher order thinking test is developed through the define stage, that is front-end analysis, learner analysis, material analysis, compiling test specifications; the design stage, that is composing the pointers item, writing item, reproduction of limited tests; the development stage, that is one to one, qualitative analysis, conducting test run, quantitative analysis, revision, assembling test; disseminate stage, that is mass production. Based on the results of the item analysis, it was found that the higher order thinking test instrument conform the precision indicators, so that it can be used to measure the higher order thinking skill. Based on the results of student answers analysis, it is found that the higher order thinking skill of students at class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak is on the medium criteria, both for indicators to analyze, evaluate, create, or as a totality. Keywords:  Instruments Development, Higher Order Thinking Test Instrument, Higher Order Thinking Skill

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses belajar siswa menggunakan media gambar dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam kelas II SDN Nanga Menterap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif, pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri atas 2 siklus, tiap siklus meliputi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan,obsevasi,dan,refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang dapat peneliti sajikan adalah sebagai berikut: pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa mencapai 61,25. Sedangkan pada siklus II, nilai rata –rata siswa  mencapai78,75.  Subjek penelitian yaitu murid kelas II SDN 04 Nanga Menterap yang berjumlah 18 orang dan guru kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Nanga Menterap. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi langsung, alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam siswa, menggunakan media Gambar dapat ditingkatkan. Saran yang diberikan adalah guru menggunakan jenis-jenis tumbuhan dan hewan menggunakan media gambar. Kata Kunci: Media Gambar, Hasil Belajar Siswa Abstrak: Research aims to describe the increase in student learning using images media in sains class II SDN Nanga Menterap.the research uses descriptive method,qualitative and quantitative approache to the two cycles,eachcycle includes,planning,action observation, and reflection. The research results can serve researchers are as ensuing:in the first cycle of student learning out comes reached 61,25. While in the second cycle the average value of students reaching 78,75. Reseach subjects are students of SDN 04 class II Nanga Menterap. Data collection tecnigues are direct observation technigues, data colletion tools used were observation sheet. Research and discussion of the results of the study it was concluded that sains students using media images can be enhanced. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the profile of students's scientific work skills before and after being applied to guided inquiry learning models in the "reaction rate" material and determine the differences in scientific work skills of students in Pontianak 8 State High School 2018/2019 academic year. This study used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest research design. The sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 2 with the determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. Data collection uses measurement techniques and direct communication techniques. After data analysis, the results of the pretest showed that the scientific work skills of students were in the unskilled, less skilled, category at 45.5%; 54.5%. Then the posttest results showed that the scientific work skills of students were in the category of less skilled, skilled, highly skilled in a row of 3.03%; 24.24%; 72.73%. Wilcoxon test results have shown there are differences in scientific work skills before and after learning, it can be concluded that students' scientific work skills increase after applied guided inquiry learning models. Keywords: scientific work skills, guided inquiry, reaction rate

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor orang tua yang menjadi penyebab rendah motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XI IPS di SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumenter dengan alat pengumpul data berupa panduan observasi dan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Sumber data primer penelitian yaitu orang tua siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Santun Untan Pontianak dan data sekunder berupa dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua yang sibuk bekerja sehingga kurang memberikan perhatian dan waktu kepada anak dapat menyebabkan rendah motivasi belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa disekolah diindikasikan dengan tidak menyimak penjelasan guru, bermain HP pada saat jam pelajaran dan tidak mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru dan PR yang diberikan guru. Kata kunci : Perhatian Orang Tua, Waktu Orang Tua, Motivasi Belajar Abstrack: This study aims to to analyze factors parents cause of the low motivation to study on the subjects of sociology class XI social class in high school SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The approach that is used is a qualitative approach with the method of descriptive. Data technique collections used are observation , interviews and study documentary with a data insruments guide observation and interview and documentation. Research primary data sources the parents of class XI social class in SMA Sabntun Untan Pontianak and secondary data used documentation. The research results shows that parents who they are busy working so that they do not take interest and time to a child can cause the lack of motivation to study for students, which can be seen from the daily students at school as an explanation not find herself listening to teachers, play handphone and do not do their tasks and the homework the teacher had given. Abstract

AbstractThe title of  this research was The use of animation media in Social science subject of 1st grade student in Junior High School 2 Sungai Raya. The problem in this research was how is the use of animation media in Social science subject of 1st grade student in Junior High School 2 Sungai Raya. The purpose of this research was to find out about the use of animation media in Social science subject of 1st grade student in Junior High School 2 Sungai Raya.The approach used in this research was qualitative research method with descriptive analysis. The techniques of data collecting were observation, interview and documentation study, while the tools of data collecting were observation guide, interview guide, documnetation, and camera. The results of this research showed that: (1) The planning for Social science learning using animation media went well, all stages implemented well; (2) Good respons from students in Social science learning using animation media proved by their interest and enthusiastic increased in following and participating in all learning activities; and (3) Positive effect from using animation media in Social science learning proved by animation media can attract students’ interest and motivate them, moreover students can have a better, faster, and easier understansing in learning material.Keywords: Animation Media, Social Science Subject, The Use of Learning Media

Abstract

 Abstract The school program has planned and implemented so that the effectiveness of education services is achieved as expected. Achieving school goals through the program cannot be achieved effectively, if the school only hopes for the government and the foundation. The Schools need partners to achieve effective service in education. The school partner is the school committee as a forum for the community to support the school in carrying out its program.The Role of School Committees in Increasing the Effectiveness of Education Services in the Suster Private Elementary School, West Singkawang Sub-Districtwith a focus on research : 1) The role of school Committees in providing Advisory Agencies, 2) Support (Supporting Agency), 3) The roles as a controlling agency, 4) As school Committee as an intermediary between the government and the community (Mediator Agency), 5) The factors influence the role of the School Committee in increasing the effectiveness of education services. The results of the study concluded in general the Suster Private Elementary School, West Singkawang Sub-District, School Committee could be categorized as good. In particular, the role of the School Committee has carried out roles as: 1) Advisory Agency, 2), Sopporting Agency, 3) Controlling Agency, 4) The intermediary between the government and the community (Mediator Agency), it's good even though there are still some inputs and suggestions from researchers.  Keywords: Advisory Agency, Controlling Agency, Mediator Agency, and Supporting Agency

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan pembelajaran menggunakan metode praktikum menggunakan bahan kehidupan sehari-hari. Bentuk penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-experimental design dengan rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan analisis dengan menggunakan uji T Paired (α = 0,05) diperoleh nilai t hitung 3,85 dengan keputuan Ho ditolak yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pengaruh metode praktikum menggunakan bahan kehidupan sehari-hari dalam materi laju reaksi pada siswa kelas XI IPA MAN Mempawah. Perhitungan effect size pembelajaran menggunakan metode praktikum menggunakan bahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebesar 1,59 dengan pengaruh sebesar 44,41% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi laju reaksi kelas XI IPA MAN Mempawah.   Kata kunci : Pembelajaran metode praktikum Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the difference of the students’ learning outcomes before and after being taught using practical learning method using daily life materials. The from of the research is a pre-experimentalreserch with one group pretest –posttest design. Based on the T paired test analysis (α = 0,05), it was obtained that the T value 3,85. It means the initial hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and there is a difference on the students’ learning outcomes before and after being thaught using practical learning method of using daily life material on the raction rate material to the eleventh grade student of science class of MAN Mempawah. The effect size of the use of practical learning method using daily life materials is 1,59. The influence of treatment is 44,41%. The improvement of students’ learning outcomes on the reaction rate material to the eleventh grade students of science class of MAN Mempawah. Keyword          : .Practical learning method

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini Bertujuan adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan tehnik dasar bola voli pada siswa putra yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak .Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu Survey Deskriptif Kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mengambil seluruh siswa putra yang mengikuti Ekstrakurikuler di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 4 Pontianak yang berjumlah 20 orang dengan menggunakan Sampling jenuh.Berdasarkan perhitungan persentase dari tehnik dasar Bola Voli Sma Negeri 4 Pontianak yaitu kemampuan Passing atas yaitu 72,50% (Baik) dengan jumlah siswa dengan keterangan Baik 11 siswa dan keterangan baik sekali 9 siswa. Kemampuan Servis atas 56,22% (Sedang) dengan keterangan Baik 6 siswa dan keterangan sedang 14 siswa. Kemampuan tehnik dasar Smash  yaitu dengan rata-rata 63,92% (Baik). Dengan keterangan Baik sekali 1 siswa, keterangan Baik 9 siswa dan keterangan sedang 10 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tes keterampilan tehnik dasar bola voli dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bermain bola voli di SmaNegeri 4 Pontianak. Kata kunci :KeterampilanTehnikDasarBola Voli Abstract: This research aims is to determine the extent of the student's ability to perform the basic technique volleyball at the boys who followed extracurricular SMAN 4 Pontianak.Metode that is used in this research is descriptive method with the type of research is descriptive quantitative survey. The sample in this study were taking all the students who follow Extracurricular son at SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak of 20 people by using the Sampling jenuh.Berdasarkan calculation of the percentage of the basic techniques Volleyball SmaNegeri 4 Pontianak is the ability Passing over is 72.50% ( well) with the number of students with 11 students and a description Both excellent description 9 students. Servicing capabilities over 56.22% (Average) with a description and caption Good 6 students were 14 students. Smash basic technical ability that is with an average 63.92% (Good). with the caption Well once one student, description and caption Good 9 students were 10 students. Based on these results it can be concluded that tests basic skills of volleyball technique can improve the ability to play volleyball at the SmaNegeri 4 Pontianak.     Keywords: Basic Engineering SkillsVolleyball

Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed at finding out whether the students? vocabulary can be improved after the teaching and learning process using guessing games technique in descriptive text. The writer conducts an action research entitled ?Improving Student?s Vocabulary Through Guessing Games Technique in Descriptive Text in Speaking?. The sample of this research is the third grade students of SD Islam Terpadu Haruniyah Pontianak Timur in academic year 2015/2016. The technique employed in this research is guessing games. The procedure of the research consists of identifying the problem, planning action, implementing, observing, reflecting the result of the observing and revising the plan. The result of this research showed that guessing games improve student?s vocabulary in descriptive text. In conclusion, the use of guessing games technique in teaching English can improve the vocabulary of the third grade students of SD Islam Terpadu Haruniyah Pontianak Timur. Key Words :  Vocabulary, Guessing Games, Descriptive Text   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kosakata siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran menggunakan teknik permainan menebak dalam teks deskriptif. Penulis melakukan tindakan berjudul ?Meningkatkan Kosakata Siswa Melalui Teknik Permainan Tebakan dalam Teks Deskriptif dalam Berbicara?. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas tiga SD Islam Terpadu Haruniyah Pontianak Timur tahun ajaran 2015/ 2016. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah permainan tebakan. Prosedur penelitian  terdiri dari mengidentifikasi masalah, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, mengamati, menggambarkan hasil dari pengamatan dan memperbaiki perencanaan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa permainan tebakan meningkatkan kosakata siswa dalam teks deskriptif. Kesimpulannya, menggunakan teknik permainan tebakan dalam mengajar bahasa inggris dapat meningkatkan kosakata pada siswa kelas tiga SD Islam Terpadu Haruniyah Pontianak Timur.
