Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is entitled "Applying Problem Based Learning Model Critical Thinking Skills to Learning PPKn in Class X Pontianak 9 High School". The method used in this study is descriptive research method with the form of research used in survey research. The subjects of this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. Data collection techniques used in this study are direct communication techniques, observation, and tests. The results of the study can be concluded that the application of a problem-based model of critical thinking skills can improve learning outcomes in learning class X PPKn Pontianak 9 SMA. Planning for the implementation of a problem-based learning model in developing critical thinking skills in PPKN learning in class X Pontianak 9 Public High School. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peranan guru membina perilaku siswa bermasalah pada proses belajar mengajar sosiologi di kelas X.B SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi langsung, komunikasi langsung, dan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpulan data berupa panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dilakukan pada 11 orang siswa bermasalah dan seorang guru sosiologi menunjukkan bahwa peranan guru dalam membina perilaku siswa bermasalah belum sepenuhnya dilakukan dengan baik.Sebagaiteladan guru berpakaian rapi dan bersih, menggunakan bahasa santun, bekerja keras, dan masuk kelas tepat waktu. Sebagai motivator, guru tidak memberikan pujian kepada siswa yang berperilaku baik, hanya memberikan hukuman kepada siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran. Sebagai pengawas, guru memberikan nasehat dan hukuman mengandung efek jera kepada siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran. Kata Kunci: Peranan Guru, Perilaku Siswa Bermasalah Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the teacher's role in fostering a problematic student behavior in the process of learning and teaching sociology in class X.B SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. The method used is descriptive qualitative methods. With the data collection technique used is direct observation, direct communication, and the study of documentary. Datacollection tools used are observation guide, interviews guide, and documentation. Results of research done at 11 troubled students and a teacher of Sociology show that the role of the teacher in fostering student behavior problematic have not completely well done. As an example of the teachers dressed neat and clean, using the language of polite, hard working, and enter class on time. As a motivator, teacher dont give praise to the well-behaved students, just give punishment to students who commit violations. As supervisors, teachers give advice and punishment deterrent effect to students contains the violation.   Keyword: Teacher Role, Problematic Student Behavior

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the process and impact of social changes in the Sentana village tourism area community, Tanjung Sekayam of Sanggau District. This research used the descriptive method, in the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research was the community in the tourist area of Sentana village. the data were obtained through the interview, observation, and documentation technique. The data collection tools used are the guidelines for observation and interview, and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in descriptive qualitative, involving 6 informants. Based on the analysis, it was found that (1) the process of social change occurring in the community was caused by the presence of a new idea of the local community to make their village a tourist area. This idea was communicated through an open forum and received good support from the community regarding new innovations for Sentana village. (2) the process of social change has both positive and negative effects. The positive impacts that occurred are increases in the ease of community activities, social integration, community quality, social mobility, and community mindset. The shortcomings, however, are conflicts occurred between the individual retailer, as well as environmental pollution in the tourist area of Kampung Sentana. Keywords :  Sentana Village, Social Changes

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam pada siswa  kelas V SDN 16  Pontianak Kota. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah desain quasi eksperimen dengan jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Kota yang berjumlah 56 orang. Hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil rata-rata post-test siswa 73,09. Hal ini menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa dalam melaksanakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas V SDN 16 Pontianak Kota adalah sebesar 73,09.   Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dan Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aims to analyze how much influence the problem-based learning model to the learning outcomes of natural science in fifth grade students of SDN 16 Pontianak City. The method used in this study is the experimental method. Experimental research form used is quasi-experimental design with a kind Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study were all fifth grade students of State Elementary School 16 Pontianak City numbering 56 people. Results of data analysis obtained an average of 73.09 students' post-test. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimd to analyze the effect of using the number head together type with audio visual media on student learning outcomes in learning citizenship education 5th grade students of  public elementary 10 school in east pontianak. The method used was the experimental method, the form of research used was quasi experimental design with the design of nonequivalent control group design. The population and sample in this study were all 5th grade students of  Public Elementary 10School in East Pontianak. The data collection tool was a multiple choice test with 40 questions. Based on data analysis, the average post-test results of the experimental class were 67.03 while the average post-test results of the control class 58.36. The results of the t test obtained tcount of 2,2446 and ttable α = 5% (with dk = 35 + 35 - 2 = 68) is 1,9973, which means  tcount (2,2446)> ttable (1,9973), then Ha is accepted. It was concluded that there is a  effect of using the number head together type with audio visual media on student learning outcomes in learning citizenship education 5th grade students of  public elementary 10 school in east pontianak. From the results of ES calculations, obtained ES for 0.57 (medium criteria). This means using the number head together type with audio visual media give a good effect on student learning outcomes in learning citizenship education 5th grade students of  public elementary 10 school in east Pontianak..Keywords: Number Head Together, Audio Visual Media, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Absrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peristilahan pertukangan pembuatan rumah pada masyarakat Melayu Sambas secara tradisional. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan peneliti adalah etnolinguistik. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah tuturan bahasa Melayu Sambas yang berupa peristilahan pertukangan pembuatan rumah pada masyarakat Melayu Sambas yang dituturkan oleh beberapa informan. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah peristilahan yang terkandung dalam pertukangan pembuatan rumah pada masyarakat Melayu Kabupaten Sambas. Teknik yang dilakukan peneliti dalam mendapatkan data di lapangan adalah teknik perekaman dan wawancara. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen wawancara dan alat perekam suara. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti berhasil menghimpun 154 leksem sebagai data penelitian. Data tersebut terdiri dari 55 leksem prapertukangan dan 99 leksem proses pertukangan. Data tersebut diklasifikasikan menjadi peristilahan berdasarkan alat, bahan, proses, hasil, dan pelaku pada tahap prapertukangan dan proses pertukangan Masyarakat Melayu Sambas secara tradisional. Kata Kunci:   Peristilahan, Pertukangan Pembuatan Rumah, Tradisional, Etnolinguistik, Komponen Makna Abstract: This study aimed to describe the society carpentry manufacturing home Malay activities in Sambas Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The approach used is entholinguistic approach. The sample of the study is the speech of Malay Sambas in the form of home-making terminology carpentry in Sambas Malay society manifested by several interviewees. The data in this study is the terminology in carpentry manufacturing home to the Sambas Malay society. The techniques of data collecting are recording and interviews. The tools of data collection are interview instrument and voice recorders. Based on the research done, the researcher managed to collect 154 lexemes as research data. The data consists of 55 pre-carpentary lexemes and 99 carpentry lexemes. The data is further classified into terminology based on tools, materials, processes, products, and the doers in the process of pre-carpentry and carpentary traditional Sambas Malay society.   Keywords:   Terminology, Carpentry in Manufacturing Home, Traditional, Entholinguistic, Component Meaning

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this reasearch is to investigate whether or not the use of “Manipulative Media” effective toward the students’ achievement in learning mathematic on the third grade students of state elementary schools 37 Southeast Pontianak. This research applied a quasi-experimental design. The population of this research was III B as the experimental group and III A as the control group which tottaly consist of 62 students. The research findings showed that the score of III B was 82.69, while III A got 72.27. Based on the measurement parametric  statistic, the result of t-test (2.871) > t-table (1.671). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Based on the analyse, there is a difference mean score of students’ achievement between using pictures and using manipulative media. The effectiveness of manipulative media towards the students’ achievement in mathematic  on third grade was 0,73 which categorized as high. Keywords: Effect, Manipulative Media, Students’ Achievment in Mathematic

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskipsikan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Memori dan model Pembelajaran Konvensional di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik random sampling. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Exsperimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran memori dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran memori pada materi koloid di SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang memberikan pengaruh sebesar 34,85% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Memori, Hasil Belajar, Koloid Abstract: The objective of this research was to know and to describe students learning result using Memory Based Learning Model and Conventional Learning Model at Eleventh Grade students of SMAN 1 Singkawang. The sample was chosen using random sampling technique. The type of this research was experimental research. The form of this research was Quasi Experimental Design with the research plan was Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-posttest design. The tool of data collecting were test of learning result and interview guidance. This Research findings showed that there was different learning result between the students who were taught using memory based learning model and the students who were taught using conventional learning model. Learning using memory based learning model on Colloid material at SMAN 1 Singkawang gave 34,85% effect to the increasing of students learning result. Abstract

AbstractOn this research we know how to effect of career information service about choosing career after high school graduating on student class 12 Immanuel Senior High School, West Borneo. The purpose of this research is about to  description the effect of career information service about choosing career after high school. The method of this research is description method with quantitative approachment, that the procedure can solve the problem with showing the effect of the career information service. Sample of this research are 50 respondent’s class 12. The way of collecting data is un-direct communication technique, with collecting data instrument is questionnaire. .analyst data technique is presentation formula, analyst product moment, and continuing by determination coefficient. Depends on the analyst data result indicate that the career information that explained by the teacher to student class 12 reach score to 74,40 percent, that reached at position on  the good  range. Meanwhile, the result of choosing career after graduating senior high school reach score 56,15 percent, this reached at position on the under standard range. The result of this research from  product moment analyst from two variable are 0,137 on rhitung, that means there was no relate between career information service and choosing career after graduating senior high school at student class 12 Immanuel senior high school, West Kalimantan. The big-small effect result of this research can be seeing by determination coefficient that can be found by Kd= 1,8 percent that means career information service that give by counseling teacher do not give effect to student choosing career on class 12 Immanuel senior high school, West Kalimantan. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan strategi pembelajaran Concept Attainment dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor di SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Bentuk Penelitian adalah pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan one group prettest-posttest design. Populasi Penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Sedangkan sampel ditentukan melalui teknik intact group terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas XI IPA 1. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes awal dan tes akhir menggunakan soal pilihan ganda disertai alasan terbuka. Hasil Pengujian Reliabilitas tes sebesar 0,50 (kategori sedang). Penurunan rata-rata siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 49%. Melalui Uji McNemar, terjadi perubahan konseptual pada siswa dengan uji signifikansi diperoleh x2hitung rata-rata (14,98)> x2tabel (3,84) untuk nilai α=5%, db=1 . Strategi pembelajaran Concept Attainment efektif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor dengan harga proporsi 0,41 (kategori sedang) artinya strategi pembelajaran Concept Attainment berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Concept Attainment, Suhu Kalor Abstract: This study aims to find out the effectiveness of Concept Attainment strategy in remediating students’ misconception on the topic about Heat and Temperature in SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The form of this research is a Pre-experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this research is the whole Grade XI Natural Science Students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. While the sample is determined by using intact group which consists of 32 students of Grade XI Natural Science 1. The research instruments are in the form of pre-test and post-test by using multiple choice questions provided with an open reason. The reliability test obtains a value of 0,50 (moderate category). The average decrease in the number of students’ misconception is 49%. McNemar test shows that there are conceptual changes on students where the test of significance obtained X2average count (14.98) > X2table (3.84) for α = 5%, db = 1. Concept Attainment learning strategy is effective to remediate the students’ misconception on the Heat and Temperature topic with the proportion value of 0,41 (moderate category). It means that Concept Attainment strategy affects the students’ learning outcomes. Keyword: Misconception, Concept Attainment, Heat Temperature
