Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to defermine differences in the ability to count beginning of children before and after the implementation of flash card media. This research method is a quantitative type of experiment with one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The sample in this study was children aged 5-6 years in the B2 group consisting 0f 15 girls and 12 boys. The location of this research is TK Bruder Nusa Indah Pontianak Kota. The results of this study that there is a significant influence, this is a evidenced by the average acquistion of children at pretest (before treatment) and the average child at posttest (after treatment). Then the results of the uji-t are calculated so that the results show that there is a difference in the ability to child after being treated using flash card media. This proves that use of real or concrete media such as the use of flash card media has a strong influence on the ability to count in the beginning of the child as evidenced by testing the effect size.Keywords: Children Age 5-6 Years, Early Numeracy Skills, Flash Card Media

Abstract

AbstractThe thesis entitled “The Implementation of Asking Ability of the Sociology Teacher in Learning Process at Class X IPS 2 MAN 1 Pontianak”. The main problem in this research is whether the teacher sociology skilled in applying skill asked in learning process at class X IPS 2 MAN 1 Pontianak. This research applied a descriptive qualitative method. The research tehnique used was observation, interview and documentation study. The result of this research is (1) The implementation of basic ask able indicating teacher sociology skilled. The components, nemely the use of clear and concise questions, giving references, shifting turn, dissemination, giving time thinking and guidance. With score was obtained for 32 and the average value 3,2 category B (skilled). (2) The implementation of advanced ask able indicating teacher sociology is quite skilled. The components, namely the change of cognitive level guidance in answering questions, the use of tracking questions and increased interaction. Components that haven’t been applied, need teacher to improve by retrained skills, namely setting the sequence of questions. With score was obtained for 17 and the average value 2,12 category C (quite skilled).Keywords: The Implementation, Asking Ability, Learning Process

Abstract

AbstractThis research applied pre-experimental method with one group of pre-test and post-test design. The purpose of this research was to find out whether or not using Personal Vocabulary Notes (PVN) is effective to teach English vocabulary. The population of this research was Year-8 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. The sample was 33 students of class VIII E. The technique to collect the data was measurement technique. The form of the test was multiple choice and short answer. The result of students’ mean score of post-test is 72.12 higher than their mean score of pre-test which is 57.27. The effect size of the treatment is 1.89, which is categorized as effective. The effect size of the treatment is higher than the highest category of effect size that is 1.00 (1.89 > 1.00). The research finding shows it is effective to teach English vocabulary using Personal Vocabulary Notes (PVN) to Year-8 students of “SMP Negeri 1 Sambas” in Academic Year 2015/2016. Keywords: Personal Vocabulary Notes (PVN), teaching, vocabulary

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of the Scramble type of cooperative model in student achievement on social science learning tin fifth grade V students of Elementary School 30 Pontianak Selatan. The method used is experimental method. Form of pre-experimental design, type of experiment one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study is all students of class V Elementary School Pontianak Selatan 30 which consists of 1  classes, which amounted to 30 students. The sample is a V class of 30 students. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques. Data collection tool in the form of test with multiple choice form amounted to 50 problem.The result of the research is the average pre-test score 60,93, meanwhile post-test 70,4, t Test price tcount compared with ttable with dk = 30-1 = 29 and significant level (?) 0,01 obtained ttable price = 2.756, it turns thitung ? ttable or 3,412 10,53 ? 2,756 means significant, it is concluded that Ho is rejected, on the contrary Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that, there is influence the use of cooperative model of Scramble type on the learning outcomes of class V students of State Elementary School 30 Pontianak Selatan. The result of effect size (ES) was 0,71 medium criterion.  The influence of the use of cooperative model of Scramble the students?s learning outcomes on Five Grade Elementary School. Keywords: Influence Scramble Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to find out the feasibility of flash cards media in the benefits of biodiversity sub material for Senior High School tenth in Landak Regency. The method used in this study was qualitative research using the descriptive. Validation sheet was used as the instrument of research. Each statement item is divided into categories Very Good is worth 4, Good is worth 3, Less Good is worth 2, and Not Good is worth 1. Since the data is in qualitative form, then to calculate it needs to be converted into a quantitative form using the Lawshe formula. Validation results from the validator can be analyzed using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) analysis. The flashcards feasibility as a learning media was then being verified by two lecturers of Biology major in Faculty of Teachers Training and Education Tanjungpura University and three Biology teachers for Senior High School tenth grader from three high schools in Landak Regency. Based on the verifier assessments, the flashcards are valid with the total average validation value 0.99 and feasible to be used as learning media in the benefits of biodiversity sub material. Abstract

AbstrackThe general problem of this research was the analysis of psychological prominent characters in novel genduk work by Sundari Mardjuki. It was delimited into four sub issues related to (1) id on the main character, (2) ego on the main character, (3) superego on the main character, and (4) the implementation plan at school. The aim of this research was to describe the id, ego, superego values associated with the God, others, own self, the nature and the implementation plan at school. This research used the descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The data source was the collection of novel Genduk work by Sundari Mardjuki. The technique used in this research was documenter study, and the tool of data collection was the researcher herself as the key instrument. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was found that there were 32 data related to id on the main character, 40 data related to ego on the main character, and 39 data related to superego on the main character.Keywords: psychological, novel

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the understanding of sex education in students through group guidance services in class XI Madrasah Aliayah Negri 1 Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method in the form of collaborative class action research. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, direct communication in the form of interviews and indirect communication in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques that calculate the value and percentage. Based on the results of data analysis showed that in the first cycle obtained 60% in the category enough. While in cycle II 78% in good category on implementation of group guidance. From the implementation of research cycle I and II showed that group guidance services can improve understanding of sex education of students in class XI MIA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak. Keywords: Understanding, Sex Education, Group Guidance

Abstract

 AbstractThe problem of this study is whether there is any influence in using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This study aims to find out the bullet resistance skills of students with a jigsaw type cooperative learning model in SMA N 1 Sengah Temila.This research method uses experimental methods with pre-experimental designs. The population is 254, the sample is 37. Data collection uses direct observation techniques. The instrument used is a bullet assessment instrument. Data analysis using t test analysis (influence test).Bullet results in this study showed an average pre-test 71, 62 and for the posttest average of 79, 67 increased by 8.05, based on the test of the effect of the withdrawal of the t-test value of 17.78 looking at the static table on the degrees of freedom dk = (N-1) is 37-1 = 36 significant level 5% t table value is 2,021. Thus the value of the t-test level = 17.78 is greater than 2.021, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted there is an influence of the jigsaw type cooperative learning learning model on the learning outcomes of bullet-drop at class XI students in SMA N 1 Sengah Temila. Abstract

AbstractThis study illustrates the ability to write biographical texts in class X MAN 1 Pontianak. The ability to write is to measure the ability of students to write biographical texts on aspects of content, structural aspects, and linguistic aspects. The subjects of this study were 112 students of class X MAN 1 Pontianak consisting of three classes namely X IPA 2, X IPS 3, and X IAI as samples. This data collection through the ability to write biographical text tests with the test questions in the form of essays as many as five questions in between the forms because the students determine the structure of biographical texts, determine aspects of content, and determine the aspects of language in written biographical texts. This type of research is quantitative descriptive Based on the data, the conclusion is the ability to write biographical texts in class X MAN 1 Pontianak. Being in the category is very high / satisfying because of 88 students consisting of three classes, X IPA 2, X IPS 3, and X IAI only 8 students who scored below the KKM (75.00) and there are about 80 students who get his grades for completeness KKM.Keywords: Ability to Write Biographical Texts

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study: the low utilization of leisure time as a means to realize the active lifestyle of the people of Pontianak City in supporting the human development index (HDI). The purpose of this study was to find out how much the level of community participation in filling free time by exercising. The method used in this research is descriptive method with survey techniques with quantitative descriptive forms. The population in this research is the people in Pontianak City with male / female categories whose work schedules are regular. Sampling in this study was rondom sampling, with a total of 100 people. Sampling using the instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. Based on the calculation results, the conclusions data are as follows: The level of community participation in the city of Pontianak in leisure time by exercising is in the high category of 9%, and the category is quite 91%. Keywords: Community participation, Leisure time, Sports.
