Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan literasi kuantitatif siswa ditinjau dari aspek quantity. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi survei. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 03 Pontianak dengan subjek sebanyak 36 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap data tes literasi kuantitatif aspek quantity dan wawancara diperoleh bahwa dari 36 siswa, lima siswa (13,9%) tergolong dalam literasi kuantitatif tinggi, 23 siswa (63,9%) tergolong dalam literasi kuantitatif sedang, dan delapan siswa (22,2%) tergolong dalam literasi kuantitatif rendah. Siswa yang tergolong dalam literasi kuantitatif tinggi sudah mampu menguasai seluruh kompetensi literasi kuantitatif, yaitu kompetensi interpretasi, representasi, kalkulasi, analisis, asumsi, dan komunikasi. Sedangkan kemampuan siswa kategori literasi kuantitatif sedang dan rendah bervariasi untuk setiap kompetensi literasi kuantitatif.   Kata Kunci: Literasi Kuantitatif, Quantity Abstract : The purpose of this research was to find out and description the students quantitative literacy examined of content quantity by using descriptive method within survey studies. This research was conducted at SMPN 03 Pontianak with 36 students as subjects. The results of quantitative literacy test and interview analyzed showed that five students (13,9%) classified in high category, 23 students (63,9%) classified in medium category, and eight students (22,2%) classified in low category. The students in high categories had mastery the whole of quantitative literacy competencies, such as interpretation, representation, calculation, analysis, assumption, and communication. The ability of students in medium and low catagories varies for each competencies quantitative literacy.   Keywords: Quantitative Literacy, Quantity

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran direct instruction berbantuan animasi PhET dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen (ekperimen semu) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 31 orang siswa kelas X MIA 4 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas 32 orang siswa X MIA 2 (kelas control). Analisis data menggunakan Uji z dengan taraf signifikansi 5%.. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan Direct Instruction berbantuan Animasi PhEt dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi fluida statis. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh tingkat efektifitas sebesar 0,5559 tergolong sedang. Dengan demikian, penggunaan  model pembelajaran direct instrution berbantuan animasi PhET cukup efektif dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi fluida statis. Kata Kunci: Direct Instruction, PhET, Fluida Statis   Abstrak: This study was conducted to determine the effectiviness of Direct Instruction Model using PhET animation to reduce students misconception in fluid statics. This study was a quasy experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was tenth grade students in SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. The participants of this study were 31 students from X MIA 4 (experiment group) and 32 stundents from X MIA (control group). Z –test was used on this study with the significance is 5%. There was sifnificant diferences between Direct Instruction using PhET animation with conventional model to reduce student misconception in fluida statis. Result reveals that the effectiveness level is 0,5559 (medium). Direct Instruction using PhET animation is effective to reduce students misconception in fluid statics concept. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengatasi kesulitan pemahaman konseptual siswa dalam menjumlahkan pecahan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendekatan antisipasi didaktis di kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. Subjek dalam  penelitian  ini adalah  4 orang siswa kelas VII A. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan pre eksperimen equvalent time samples design. Hasil dan analisis data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian adalah: Pendekatan antisipasi didaktis dapat mengatasi kesulitan pemahaman konseptual siswa dalam materi operasi penjumlahan pecahan. Sebelum diberikan pendekatan antisipasi didaktis, skor pre-test NDL  52 setelah diberikan pendekatan antisipasi didaktis skor post-test NDL 90.  Skor pre-test JHN 24, setelah diberikan pendekatan antisipasi didaktis skor post-test JHN 80. Skor  pre-test AEM 52, setelah diberikan pendekatan antisipasi didaktis skor post-test AEM 92. Skor pre-test MTA 56, setelah diberikan pendekatan antisipasi didaktis skor post-test MTA 92.   Kata kunci: Pendekatan Antisipasi Didaktis, pemahaman konseptual   Abstract: the objective of the research is to describe and resolve the student difficulties conceptual understanding in summing fraction before and after the given didactic anticipation approach at VII grade SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. Four students from VII A were being the subject of the research. The research is an analytical descriptive research with equavalent times samples design pra experiment approach. Result and data analysis of the research is: Didactic anticipation approach can resolve the student difficulties conceptual understanding  in fraction summation operation material. Before given the didactic anticipation approach, pre-test score NDL 52 after given didactic anticipation approach post-test score NDL 90. Abstract

AbstractThis research on the ability of students to write permission letters. The problem in this research is students often underestimate the application for permission request letter, so the teacher thinks students who are not attending school are considered negligent. This is very influential on student absenteeism presence.The method in this research used a descriptive method. Form of research is qualitative. The source of the data was VII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Capkala Kabupaten Bengkayang consisting of 39 students in  the academic year 2018/2019. The data in this study were using spelling, standard word, effective sentences, preparing paragraphs and placing the parts of the application for permission request letter written. Data collection techniques used direct techniques and indirect techniques. Data collection tool in this study used a test of an essay.The results of this study, the average value using thespelling 60. The average value using the word 86,25. The average value using the sentence 41,68. the average value compiling paragraphs 41,98. The average value places the lincense part 92,70. The ability of students to write permission in SMPN 3 Capkala Kabupaten Bengkayang district 2018/2019 academic year the average value of 66,291 category C. Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan pendekatan inquiry diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar sehingga motivasi itu tidak terjadi kejenuhan, dengan demikian siswa akan terlibat secara fisik, emosional dan intelektual yang pada gilirannya diharapkan konsep perubahan pada pembelajaran yang diajarkan oleh guru dapat dipahami oleh siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuaitatif dengan rancangan penelitian ini akan dilakukan sebanyak empat tahapan. Rancangan penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Studi pendahuluan dilakukan observasi awal di kelas III SDN 12 Sandai Ketapang untuk memperoleh refleksi awal. Tahap perencanaan dilaksanakan dengan merancang prosedur tindakan, dan menentukan bentuk pengamatan tindakan. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan kolaboratif antara peneliti dan guru. Refleksi dilakukan pada setiap akhir pembelajaran dan pertemuan pada setiap siklus. Kata Kunci : Motivasi, Pendekatan Inquiry, IPA.   Abstract: The use of inquiry approach is expected to enhance students' motivation in the learning process so that the motivation was not the case of saturation, thus students will be involved physically, emotionally and intellectually, which in turn is expected to change the learning concepts taught by teachers can be understood by students. This study uses kuaitatif approach to the design of this study will be conducted by two rounds. The study design includes preliminary studies, planning, action, observation and reflection. Preliminary studies conducted preliminary observations in class III Sandai Ketapang SDN 13 East to obtain early reflections. Planning stage measures implemented by designing procedures, and determine the form of action observation. Implementation phase is done collaboratively between researchers and teachers. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the use of teacher teaching methods on sociology subjects in class X IPS A Ngabang 1 Public High School. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation studies. In this research, the data source was sociology teacher in class X IPS A Ngabang 1 Public High School. The results show that the use of the lecture method by the teacher has been used each time teaching in class X IPS A. In presenting the subject matter to students using the lecture method, the teaching facilities used by the teacher are LKS and the selection of the use of lecture methods is based on student factors, subject matter and teaching facilities. The use of the question and answer method by the teacher has been used each time carrying out learning in class X IPS A. As long as the learning activities take place using the question and answer method, only a few students actively ask and answer their questions. In addition, the selection of the question and answer method is based on the characteristics of the learning material. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to answer the problems about how does local legend improve students? reading comprehension in comprehending the detailed information, finding the meaning of words, and drawing the conclusion about moral value of narrative text to the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Sungai Raya Bengkayang. This research was classroom action research. The data of this research were taken from the students? score and the notes were taken through observation schedule. The total number of students was 26 students. The research finding indicated that students? ability in comprehending narrative text using local legend was improved. Students? prior knowledge about local legend improved students? ability in comprehending the detailed information by asking students to arrange the random paragraph and give students testing activity, the familiarity of the words were used in local legend improved students? ability in predicting the meaning of vocabulary by asking the students to guess the meaning of the word based on the context and the environment of local culture values of local legend improved students? ability in drawing conclusion about moral value of narrative text by giving an opportunity to discuss and to conclude the lesson. It can be proven from students? mean score result in cycle 1 to cycle 3. In the first cycle, students? mean score was 48. 6, it was 64. 2 in second cycle and it raised to 78. 4 in the third cycle. Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text, Local Legend   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab masalah mengenai apakah legenda  lokal meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa dalam memahami informasi rinci, menemukan arti kata dan menarik kesimpulan mengenai pesan moral dalam teks naratif di kelas delapan SMPN 3 Sungai Raya Bengkayang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Data diperoleh dari nilai siswa dan catatan observasi diperoleh melalui jadwal observasi. Jumlah siswa adalah 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks naratif menggunakan legenda lokal meningkat.  Pengetahuan siswa sebelumnya tentang legenda lokal meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam memahami informasi rinci dengan meminta siswa menyusun paragraf acak dan memberikan latihan soal, kosakata yang sudah diketahui sebelumnya yang digunakan dalam legenda lokal meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memprediksi arti kosakata dengan meminta siswa menebak arti kata berdasarkan konteks, dan nilai-nilai budaya lokal di lingkungan sekitar dari legenda lokal meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menarik kesimpulan pesan moral dari teks naratif dengan memberikan kesempatan untuk berdiskusi dan menyimpulkan pelajaran. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil rata-rata perolehan nilai siswa di siklus 1 hingga 3. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata perolehan nilai siswa adalah 48. 6, 64. 2 di siklus kedua dan meningkat menjadi 78. 4 di siklus ketiga.   Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Membaca, Teks Naratif, Legenda Lokal

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the media and the use of sociological learning media in the class XI IIS SMA N 2 Mempawah Hulu. This study used is qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies; The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner user informants as much as five people consisting of a teacher of sociology learning and student of class XI IIS. Learning media is a form of physical in a planned manner to convey information and build interaction. The media used are a visual display, visual print, and visual images. Stage in the use of learning media namely the preparation and planning, the implementation, and the flow-up stage. In the learning process of material learning delivered by the teacher are encoding and student decoding. In the use of learning media, there are obstacles (barriers or noises). Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media manipulatif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran matematika kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34 Pontianak Kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasi experiment design dan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV A yang berjumlah 35 orang dan kelas IV B yang berjumlah 36 orang. Hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata post-test pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 74,59 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 69,50. Hasil perhitungan effect size data hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh sebesar 0,29 diklasifikasikan dalam kategori sedang, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh penggunaan media manipulatif memberikan pengaruh yang sedang terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34 Pontianak Kota.   Kata Kunci: Media Manipulatif, Matematika Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effect of using manipulative media to the learning outcomes of students in the fourth grade math learning State Elementary School 34 Pontianak City. The method used is experiment with the form of quasi experimental study design and study design nonequivalent control group design. Samples were students in grade IV A numbering 35 people and class IV B of the 36 people. The results of data analysis, obtained an average post-test on the experimental class at 74.59 while the control class is 69.50. The result of the calculation of the effect size of data the study of students experimental class and control class gained 0.29 is classified in the category of being, it can be concluded that the effect of the media being manipulative influence on learning outcomes of students in mathematics at the State Elementary School fourth grade 34 Pontianak City.   Keywords: Media Manipulatives, Math

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the using ttw pair technique to see improved the ability of write descriptive essays in class III State Elementary School 18 West Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method and form of Classroom Action Research is done collaboratevely. Classroom action research procedures include action planning, action implementation, action observation/observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study included grade III A with 25 students. Data collection techniques used are direct observation, direct communication, documentary studies, and measurements with observations sheet for students. This study was done 4 cycles, based on calculations by the percentage and the average grade of all cycles in a row, namely 40,8% in the first cycle becomes 56,8% in second cycle, becomes 77,5% in third cycle and finally becomes 88% in fourth cycle (last cycle). The ability of students in writing description essays has increased from first cycle to last cycle. In second cycle increased of 20%, in third cycle which increased of 26%, and so in last cycle has increased of 13%. This means there is an increased students ability of write descriptive essays using the ttw pair technique class III State Elementary School 18 West Pontianak.Keywords: Classroom Action Research, TTW Pair Technique, Writing Ability, Essay Description
