Abstract

AbstractThe problems discussed in this research are inventory, form, lexical meaning, cultural meaning, and text supplementation of the ethnomedicinal lexicon learning of Sambas Malay children's disease into Indonesian language learning in schools. This study uses a descriptive method in a qualitative form. Data collection techniques are interviews, record and note, and documentation. This study resulted in 83 ethnomedical lexicon of Sambas Malay children's disease with the classification of disease names totaling 21 lexicon, treatment materials totaling 27 lexicon, treatment tools totaling 10 lexicon, method of making potions totaling 10 lexicon, size of material (dose) treatment amounting to 5 lexicon, and treatment process totaling 10 lexicon. The ethnomedicine lexicon of the Malay Sambas disease is monomorphemic totaling 41 lexicons, polymorphemic in the form of 10 lexicons of prefix and 12 lexicons of confixes, and 20 lexicons of phrases. The meaning of the ethnomedicine lexicon of the disease of Malay Sambas children based on the lexical meaning is 79 lexicons and 83 lexicons in culture. The form of Indonesian language learning text based on the ethnomedicine lexicon of Malay children's disease Sambas produces two learning texts, namely descriptive text and procedure text.Keywords: Lexicon, Ethnomedicine, Children's Disease, Malay Sambas.

Abstract

This study examines the role of teachers in strengthening character education to foster disciplined behavior among students at SMP 23 Pontianak. The background of this research is based on the importance of character education as an effort to shape a generation with disciplined and responsible behavior. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach, where data are gathered from relevant literature sources, including research findings, research reports, journals, or articles. The study results show that teachers play an essential role as role models, motivators, and facilitators in the learning process to build student discipline. Teachers consistently apply disciplinary values through classroom rules, supervision, and persuasive and communicative approaches. This implementation of character education has proven effective in increasing students"™ awareness and compliance with school rules, thereby creating a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

AbstractUniversities must be able to survive and always develop so that leadership is needed inadopting innovations in this new era. The method of this research is a case studyresearch with qualitative approach. The partisipants of this research are one rector,five lecturers, two administration staffs and one college student of IKIP PGRI inPontianak. The technique of data collection is using observation, interview, documentand triangulation. The data analysis is using data collection, data reduction, datapresentation and verivication. The result of this research show that innovation adoptionis very well. The process of this innovation is applying the knowledge and technologywith a good communication with online and offline platform about one week to fourmonths in campus and two years for regional. The applying of leadership function inadopting innovation in IKIP PGRI Pontianak is effective. Supporting factors are: (1)Leader; (2) Subordinates; (3) Facilities and Infrastructure; (4) Rewards; (5)Accreditation; (6) Pandemic. The inhibiting factors are: (1) Network system; (2)Economic conditions; (3) Awareness for students, lecturers and employees to improvethemselves in adopting innovations; (3) Students' geographical conditions; (6) Limitedfunds.Keywords: The Leadership of Higher Education, Adopting Innovation.

Abstract

Language functions as a means of communication between individuals and has a close relationship with literary works, because it contains a means for interaction between writers and readers. Language in literary works has special characteristics, one of which is interpretation. The aim of this research is to reveal the hidden meanings and messages in the lyrics of the song Tondi-tondiku by Herbert Aruan, a Batak musician, and its implications for learning Indonesian in high school. Using descriptive methods and Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory, this analysis shows that the grammatical and psychological meaning of song lyrics is revealed based on Schleirmacher's interpretation. Grammatical meaning includes the classification of various grammatical categories, such as pronouns, conjunctions, nouns, and others, as well as denotative and connotative meanings. While psychological meaning includes complex emotions such as love, loss, hope, and concern. This study also formulates recommendations for integrating this song into the Indonesian language curriculum in high school, especially class 14 of 2019.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to develop student worksheets with constructivism structure on trigonometry material in SMAN 1 Nanga Taman Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The research method used R & D that development by Richey and Klein which include Planning, Production and evaluation. This student worksheets was a Trigonometry student worksheets whose material presentation is developed based on four phases of constructivism. The fourth part of constructivism includes exploration phase, application phase, restructuring phase and reflection phase. Based on the research, it was concluded that the trigonometry student worksheet is valid that was proven through the opinions of three experts and the results of factor analysis.  The factor analysis are the results of student answers on student worksheets, where each item in the factor analysis had a value above r-count, 0.30. The increase of students' adaptive reasoning abilities was seen from the results of the average pretest and post-test calculated using N-Gain amounting to 0.61 with an increase category namely moderate. Keywords: Adaptive reasoning, Constructivism, Student worksheets

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the association of overseas students which resulted in consumptive behavior. Migrating to make a shift in student lifestyle that changes due to different environments. This study was to determine and explain changes in the behavior of overseas students in consumptive behavior in students of economic education at FKIP Untan. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach, data collection techniques by interview and documentation. The object of this research were all students of FKIP Untan economic education who were traveling. Analysis of the validity of the data in this study used triangulation with data processing using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study were students of economic education who wandered into consumptive behavior as a result of advertisements in the city, caused by often hanging out in coffee shops to spend time and to play games with friends. Researchers also found that the consumptive behavior of students of economic education FKIP Untan was quite low.Keywords: Change In Consumptive Behavior, Overseas Students.

Abstract

 This research is entitled "Analysis of Student Learning Difficulties in Thematic Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Class IV SDN 39 Pontianak Kota". The background of this research is that fourth grade students at SDN 39 Pontianak City experience learning difficulties in thematic learning. Learning difficulty is a symptom that appears in students which is characterized by the presence of low learning outcomes or below predetermined standards. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data obtained from this study used observation, interviews with teachers, students and parents as well as documentation. The results of this study reveal how students' learning difficulties in thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the factors that influence it. Students show inappropriate attitudes (social), low student academic achievement (academic), difficulty making new understandings (metacognition), students are slow in processing something (processing speed), students have difficulty interpreting what is felt, heard, and seen (perception) , students are less attentive and less focused on learning (attention), too many activities that are not useful for students to do so it is difficult to remember the subject matter (memory). Factors that cause students to experience learning difficulties are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors that influence it are lack of attention in learning (concentration), lack of participation and response of students when participating in teaching and learning activities (reactions), slowness of students in understanding the material (comprehension), and incomplete test scores (repeat). While the external factors that influence it are the influence of friends in the community (social environment).

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to know the description, process, and barriers of extracurricular activities in developing the value of nationalism character to the students (the members of Paskibra) at SMAN 1 Pontianak. This research used descriptive with a qualitative form research design. The source's data of this study were Paskibra's members batch 27 classes X, trainers, coaches, the data taken from interview sheets for informants, observation sheets, and the secondary data were taken from Paskibra administrator. The results showed that the nationalism character of Paskibra members had developed and was in a good category. It was marked by an attitude of loving the homeland, appreciating the heroes' merit, having a sense of coalescence and unity, and loving the arts and culture of Indonesia through the process of implementing Paskibra activity. It aims to develop a sense of loving their homeland by raising the flag properly and correctly. However, there were also obstacles such as the limited time and field in carrying out the activities. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out the validity of digitalworksheetsdeveloped withmacromedia flash based on Van Hiele theory on cube material and to know thestudent's learning results after using the digital worksheets. The research wasconducted at SMP Negeri 01 Tempunak in the even semester. The subjects of the studywere 12 grade VIII students. The type of research used are Research and Developmentresearch using ADDI (analysis, design, development, and implementation) model.Researchers measured the level of effectiveness of this study with a minimum learningmastery standard (KKM) that is 70. The validity of digital worksheets can be seen frommedia experts, learning materials experts and alumi experts master of mathematicseducation UNTAN leads to the same decision that is the feasibility of the product thathas been produced to be used as a medium in mathematics learning. Based on thestudent's study results, it was obtained that 10 students completed while 2 students hadnot reached KKM. After being converted with a scale conversion table from the studyresults 12 students presentase 83.33% achievement level is in good qualifications.Keywords: Digital Worksheet, Macromedia Flash, Van Hiele Theory

Abstract

This study aims to determine the structure and implementation of the love spell left over from the past. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative form. The approach used is a structural approach. The data source for this research is the result of interviews and the research data is in the form of a compassionate mantra text. Data collection techniques used in this study were interview techniques and recording techniques. The data validity testing technique is to use observation persistence and reference adequacy. The results of the research regarding the text of the mantra relics of relics from the past, there are imagery or imagery, namely visual imagery, touch imagery, tasting imagery, auditory imagery, and feeling imagery. Concrete words are found in almost all the lines of compassionate mantras that are dominant with visual images. The rhymes contained in the self-love mantra include rhymes based on sound, there are full rhymes, absolute rhymes, half rhymes, alliteration rhymes, associative rhymes, and dissonant rhymes. Based on the location of the rhymes in the line, there are initial rhymes, middle rhymes and ending rhymes. Rhymes based on the location of the pair in the line, there are twin rhymes, broken rhymes, cross rhymes, continuous rhymes, and free rhymes. The implementation of learning in this study was realized by the preparation of lesson plans for the 2013 curriculum for class VII junior high schools.
