Abstract

Museums are buildings used as storage, maintenance, security and utilization of historical relics, art and science for permanent exhibition to the public (tourists) as a tourist attraction that provides educational values to tourists or visitors. To meet the needs of visitors in the museum, competent tour guides are needed as parties who provide information or provide education about the collections owned by the museum being visited. Therefore, the purpose of this journal is to review how tourists learn in museums through tour guides and what the role of tour guides as educators is, namely guiding tourists, providing information, introducing new things from the museum to visitors, informing visit regulations about things that can and cannot be done while in the museum and maintaining quality service. To fulfill the criteria of tour guides and maintain the quality and service to visitors, it is necessary to have continuous training for tour guides. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method that aims to analyze and describe how visitors or tourists gain understanding or knowledge about the museum through the role of tour guides and what kind of tour guides educate visitors. Researchers use several methods library data collection methods, reading and recording, and processing research materials. In this study, researchers found that tour guides have an important role as educators to educate tourists from the beginning to the end of a visit to the museum.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes by using the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on environmental pollution material at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau. There are two variables in this research, namely the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model as the independent variable and student learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The method in this research is the classroom action research (PTK) method which consists of two cycles, each cycle through four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques are observation and measurement techniques, with data collection tools namely observation sheets and test questions. The research results showed that in cycle I the average value of student learning outcomes was 68.57 with classical completeness of 71.42% and the average value of cycle II was 77.85% with classical completeness of 92.85%, there was an increase in learning outcomes of 9.28%. The application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the factors of students' initial reading and numeracy difficulties at Gedongkiwo State Elementary School. Research subjects are determined by purposive sampling, namely by deliberately selecting subjects by researchers according to certain objectives and criteria. The subjects used in the research were teachers and class II students. Data collection in this research used descriptive qualitative research. The techniques and instruments used for data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. This journal tries to describe the analysis of the factors of students' initial reading and numeracy difficulties at Gedongkiwo State Elementary School. The results of this research showed that there were several elementary school students who could not read and count, some could read fluently, but there were still students who had to spell letters in syllables. Of the 37 students, there are 8 students who still experience difficulties in reading and arithmetic, because they still cannot remember letters and still need guidance from the teacher. The types of reading difficulties are, students do not know letters, students have difficulty spelling letters, syllables, have not memorized letters, cannot read syllables into words, and have difficulty distinguishing letters that have almost the same shape. Then the types of difficulties in counting are, difficulty saying numbers, difficulty calculating addition and subtraction, difficulty calculating with large numbers, and not understanding the meaning of counting.

Abstract

Religious moderation is defined as an attitude aimed at reducing violence or avoiding extremism in religious practices to balance religious teachings. This is reflected in defending religious teachings while accepting opposing views. Religious moderation aims to bring harmony into the lives of others. The role of religious mediation that students must understand in the current digital era is as follows: 1) Peaceful education that respects human rights and friendship between nations, races or groups, 2) developing entrepreneurship and partnerships with industry, 3) paying attention to prophetic Islam, 4 ) include lessons about tolerance and religious pluralism, 5) understanding of Islam for it was passed down to a moderate anti-mainstream Indonesian Islamist, 6) balancing views between intellectual, spiritual, moral and casual abilities, 7) producing intellectual scholars, 8) solutions to educational problems , 9) emphasizing the holistic quality of education and 10) the ability to improve foreign language skills. In order to develop moderate students, there are many challenges to be faced, especially in the increasingly advanced digital era, such as the current decline in attachment to religious institutions, changes in religious theory and the strengthening of individualism.

Abstract

Badminton course is one of the compulsory subjects taught in the STKIP Yapis Dompu Physical Health and Recreation Education study program ideally, in the learning process students will not only learn material related to badminton techniques, but also with traditional games that heve regional culture in Bima-Dompu. There are several factors that cause students to find in difficult to undersand material related to badminton courses, namely empahasizing mastery of the material and methods taught using lecture, discusssion, power point and LCD methods taught so far. Less effective for practical courses, due to limited facilities owned by students, used is mpa’a lape The purpose of this research is to produce the traditional game to increase student creativity in the T & P Badminton course using the Borg and Gall model, media validity was obtained from the results of expert validation consisting of two material experts with the stage I validation questionnaire on experts material I 95% and material experts II. 91.66% and the validation is done by media experts. Media experts II 95%. Phase II validation questionnaire material expert I 96% and material expert II 96%. Questionnaire calculationon student responses are given. Media experts I. 95% and media experts II 95% with the criteria “ Veri suitable for use “ the practicality of the media was obtained throught a questionnaire responding to class A students of the Physical Education Health and Recreation Study Program for the 2023-2024 academic year of 2023-2024 by 95 % with the criteria “ Very suitable for use” The conclusion that Mpa’a Lape Traditional games to increase student crativity in T &P Badminton courses is valid and practically used in badminton courses.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the influence of pedagogical competence and student motivation on the learning outcomes of class IX students in social studies subjects at St. Catholic Middle School. Theresia Kupang, both partially and simultaneously. This research is quantitative research. The research subjects were 93 class IX students of Sta Catholic Middle School. Theresia Kupang. Data were analyzed using Regression Statistics. The results of the Regression Analysis show that the effective contribution of the Pedagogical Competency variable to the learning outcomes of class IX students in social studies subjects at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang is Rsquare = 0.370 x 100% = 37%. (2) Coefficient of determination or effective contribution of the Student Motivation variable to Class IX Student Learning Outcomes in Social Sciences subjects at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang is Rsquare = 0.400 x 100% = 40%. (3) Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination or effective contribution of Gogic Competence and Student Motivation together on Class IX Student Learning Outcomes in Social Sciences subjects at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang is Rsquare = 0.485 x 100% = 48.5%. Thus it can be concluded that both partially and simultaneously pedagogical competence and learning motivation have a positive and significant effect on the learning outcomes of class IX students in social studies subjects at SMPS Sta. Theresia Kupang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of the Talking Stick Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class V Students. This research method is an experimental method with a Pre-Experimental design type using a One Group Pretest Posttest Design design. The number of samples is all class V students at UPTD SD Negeri 122357 Jl. Jati, totaling 30 students. Data collection was carried out using test and observation techniques. Research data was analyzed using statistical and inferential analysis. Based on the data results, it is known that ttable is 1.699, tcount is 12.6638, significant 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Talking Stick Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Learning Theme 2 Subtheme 1 at UPTD SD Negeri 122357 Jl. Teak Pematang Siantar. This shows that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on the results of the data presented, the researcher concluded that the student learning outcomes before being given treatment, all students still had not reached the KKM, namely 30 students (100%) and after being given treatment, student learning outcomes increased, namely 27 students (90% ) has a value above the KKM.

Abstract

This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research related to the analysis of politeness towards the socially caring character of elementary school students. The first key informant is the class teacher by conducting an interview process. This study uses observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. Politeness is a reflection of morals that can be achieved through the learning process at school. Behavior needs to be formed since students are at the Elementary School Education level, because when they are at this level it influences the further development of Education. With the cultivation of polite values to children, it is necessary that the child can socialize well in his social environment. The formation of a social caring character is very important to be instilled from an early age. Through the formation of a social caring character, children are expected to be able to instill life habits to care for and empathize with others, and to always be responsive to friends who are in trouble. This study aims to find out how important polite behavior is to produce socially caring characters in elementary school age children. The results show that politeness in elementary school students can still be developed because politeness will affect the social caring character of individuals.

Abstract

The ability of teachers and the use of learning media in learning at school can improve student learning outcomes. This research measures the influence of teacher abilities and the use of learning media on student learning outcomes (case study of all grade IV students at SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah). The problem in this research is what is the influence of teacher ability and use of learning media on the learning outcomes of grade 4 students at SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah? The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of teacher ability and use of learning media on the learning outcomes of grade 4 students at SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah. This research approach is a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were 69 people who were obtained from the number of students in class IV of SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah. The data collection technique is carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis uses simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that there is a significant influence between teacher ability and the use of learning media on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' understanding of concepts regarding the transport of substances in cells through the IDEA learning model. The research subjects chosen in this study were 23 students of the Class A Physics Study Program, Semester 1, Mataram State Islamic University (UIN), using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data analysis technique in this research uses quantitative description. The results of this research show that the IDEA learning model is effectively used to increase students' understanding of concepts. This is proven by all students who took the test using the concept understanding test instrument getting classical completion results with a completion percentage of 82.6%. 4 students did not complete due to the learning productivity factors of the students concerned, such as learning independence and a weak understanding of basic concepts. The results of this research prove that the IDEA learning model is effectively used to increase students' understanding of concepts regarding the transport of substances in cells. It is hoped that the results of this research can then be implemented by lecturers to help students improve their understanding of concepts in biology material.
