Abstract

One of the educational evaluation tools is a test with the aim of measuring the success of the learning activity process. When compiling tests/questions, they must be prepared in accordance with the rules for compiling them so that they will provide maximum information regarding the results of learning activities to obtain good tests both after and before use. Mathematics teachers at the KKM (Madrasah Working Group) have never carried out an analysis of the distractors for the final exam questions for the 2022/2023 academic year that they have prepared and used, so the quality of the questions is not yet known. The problem is how the quality of the questions is seen from the distractors in the multiple choice questions. Thus, this research aims to determine the distractors in the questions based on students' answers to 30 multiple choice questions with 4 alternative answers, namely (A, B, C and D) which were tested in class VII MTs at the KKM level in Kediri sub-district for the 2022 school year. /2023 with data and documentation of 369 students. This research is descriptive research, with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of the analysis with the Iteman program showed that there were 20 questions whose alternatives worked, namely questions 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 27 , 29, 30. The other alternative answer questions are classified as revised, namely 2, 5, 7, 11, 15, 16, 21, 25, 26, 28. So it can be concluded that the distractors of the 30 multiple choice questions are based on student answer documentation data as many as 369 students, it can be seen that 10 or 43% of the answer choices have not functioned well. Therefore, it is necessary to revise the questions qualitatively on the distractors to get good distractors/distractors.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze pronunciation errors in English learning in class VII Pemetung Middle School using an applied linguistics approach. This research used an observation method on class VII students at Pemetung Middle School. Observations were carried out to identify pronunciation errors that often occur. Data was collected from direct observation and then analyzed using applied linguistics concepts. The results of the study showed that there were various pronunciation errors made by class VII students at Pemetung Middle School. Some of the most common errors involve errors in pronunciation of consonants, vowels, as well as intonation. These errors are often caused by the influence of a student's native language or the influence of social media influencing the way they speak English. An applied linguistics approach is used to design learning strategies aimed at correcting these pronunciation errors. By applying this approach, students are taught how to use English phonological rules and are given special exercises to improve their pronunciation. This research contributes to the understanding of pronunciation errors in English learning at Pemetung Middle School and provides concrete solutions to improve students' ability to speak English correctly. In addition, this research also provides a more in-depth view of the application of the applied linguistics approach in teaching English in secondary education environments.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of cultural globalization on changes in women's behavior in Indonesia. Globalization is often seen as a competition for business, economics and technological sophistication. In fact, behind everything in globalization it has targeted all aspects of people's lives in Indonesia, including culture. Globalization has had an influence on changes in behavior in society, especially women. Many women have become victims of cultural changes due to the new culture. As a result, many women (Muslim women) are trapped in the mire of globalization; caught up in the current of feminism, human rights, LGBT, giving birth to a culture shock that has destroyed the spirit of women. This research is a literature review where the author uses books, journals and the results of expert analyzes in thought studies and discussions published in scientific works. This research has useful value that is very relevant for improving current conditions which are complicated by the challenges and threats of globalization technology. Among the solutions recommended by the author in this research is that Muslim women can be more alert and not easily trapped in the cultural traps of globalization such as fashion traps, life style, free sex and human rights and technology traps. The author recommends that women can be more active in seeking knowledge and can re-understand their qadrat in maintaining their spirit and nature and become the front guard in family defense.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in increasing students' mathematics problem-solving abilities that obtain Snowball Throwing learning and those who obtain Direct learning. The method that is used in research is the method of quasi-experiment with the population of the entire student class VII one of the SMP Negeri in the city of Bandung in the teachings of 2012/2013, while the sample has two classes of the population that are selected by the random class. Instruments used in the research is about the ability to solve problems of mathematics type of description. The test is used to identify students mistakes of how to measure of students in completing the issue. To determine the increasing of student’s ability to solve problems mathematically between classroom control and class experiment, it can be done by using the calculation of the gain. The gain test results in increasing the mathematics problem-solving ability of students in the experimental class are 0,55 and the control class is 0,44. The second classes were on the middle criteria. From  the research is obtained the conclusion that: the increasing of students ability to solve problems mathematically students who acquire learning by using learning Snowball Throwing is better than students who received teaching direct mathematics.

Abstract

This research deals with the grammar skill that is the students understanding of passive voice. This research is aimed to investigate the students understanding of passive voice at the second semester students of English educational Program at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global in academic year 2022/2023, the title is taken by the writer because he wants to answer the statement of problem that stated do the students have understanding of passive voice. Therefore, the writer proposed to find out whether the second semester students of English educational Program at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global have understanding passive voice. In this research the writer gave two kinds of test to the students, the grammar test in multiple choice and modified test is changing the active sentence into passive sentence, the writer took the second semester students as the population that consist of four classes with the total students until 10 students and the writer took all of students as the sample. The result of the investigation showed from 23 students, the students who was classification as good were 8 students and 15 students were classification as low. Arriving at the end of this writing the writer restates the conclusion of research, the achievement level of second semester students of English educational Program at Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global do not have understanding on passive voice

Abstract

This research examines students' learning outcomes on Mathematics subjects of calculating operating material division in class IVA SD Country of Girian Indah. The problem in this study is that students' learning outcomes in Mathematics are still low. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics of Indah Girian Girian Country IVA Elementary students. The method in this study uses a class action research method. The subject of this study was 23 students in IVA. Data collection techniques are carried out through observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis to illustrate about increasing the value of student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the results of Mathematics learning increased, where in cycle I students were due to 17 students with a percentage of 74% and students who were not due to 6 students with a percentage of 26% with an average of 77. In cycle II student learning outcomes increase with a total number of students who have fallen by 22 students and students who are not due to 1 student, so that the percentage of student completion in cycle II reaches 96%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of applying the Brainstorming method on motivation and learning outcomes in integrative thematic learning for class V students. This research is a quasi-experimental research, with a pretest-posttest design with nonequivalent groups. The population in this study were class V students of SDN 1 Langko, first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Two classes were taken randomly, each consisting of an experimental group of 33 students and a control group of 33 students. Pretest and Posttest are used to measure student motivation and learning outcomes. The validity and reliability of the instrument were calculated using the SPSS 17.00 for Windows program. Data analysis uses independent t test statistics to determine the effect of learning methods which include the brainstorming method in the experimental class and conventional methods in the control class. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of the brainstorming method on the motivation and learning outcomes of SDN 1 Langko students on the sub-theme of togetherness in diversity. It is proven from the results of the t-test with a significance of 0.000 in the experimental group, meaning that the brainstorming method is able to increase motivation and learning outcomes for the sub-theme of togetherness in the diversity of SDN1 Langko participants.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to improve the English communication skills of the students of the second grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Central Lombok by using images media to determine the use of images media to improve speaking skills and determine students' speaking abilities after using images media. This research uses classroom action research (CAR). The results of the research are as follows. First, by applying images media can develop students' speaking skills. Students can communicate communicatively, orderly, well, and correctly, this can be seen after conducting classroom action research. Second, by applying images media to the learning process in order to improve students' speaking skills, it can be seen in the increase in the results of speaking skill scores. The subjects of this research were second grade of the students of Madrasah Tsanawiayah Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Lombok Tengah which consisted of 17 students consisting of boys and girls taken from 31 students in class B. The object of this research was the second grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Lombok Tengah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the TPS (Think, Pair, Share) learning model on the Civics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Sumbek State Elementary School, Central Lombok. This research uses an experimental design in the form of True Experimental Design Type Pre test-Post test Control Group Design with one type of treatment using an experimental class and a control class. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique (entire sample). The data collection technique uses the Civics learning outcomes test method. The data analysis technique uses the t-test to test the effect of implementing the TPS learning model on Civics learning outcomes. The results of this research show that the calculated average post test score for the experimental class was 83.29, higher than the average for the control class, which was 77.37. The results of data analysis show that the calculated t value is 3.200 > t table 2.013. This means that there is a significant difference between the post-test results of the experimental class which used the TPS learning model and the control class which did not use the learning model. This can be interpreted as meaning that learning that uses the TPS learning model has higher learning outcomes compared to learning that does not use the learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the application of the TPS learning model on the Civics learning outcomes of class V students at Sumbek State Elementary School, Central Lombok.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Sunday school catechesis and the development of children's faith in the Santu Josef Onekore Ende Parish. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The methods used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of Sunday school catechesis is an alternative that really helps the development of children's faith. On this auspicious occasion Christian values began to be instilled in children at an early age so that they were developed and lived out in life, both individually and collectively in society. Sunday school catechesis can lead children to meet their friend Jesus and to meet others every Sunday. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Sunday school catechesis is an alternative that really helps the development of children's faith. On this auspicious occasion Christian values began to be instilled in children at an early age so that they were then developed and lived out in life both individually and collectively in society.
