Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Central Java Province and container throughput at the Semarang Container Terminal. Using time series data from 2015 to 2024, a Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to measure the strength of the relationship between the two variables. The results indicate a very strong and positive correlation between Central Java’s GRDP and container throughput, suggesting that regional economic growth is closely linked to the expansion of logistics and port activities. These findings are significant as a basis for policy formulation in developing port infrastructure that aligns with regional economic growth.

Abstract

The construction of the Lamongan Police Logistics Warehouse, as part of public infrastructure, requires efficient supervision to support police operational needs. However, several operational issues have arisen, hindering timely completion. One of the main problems is delays in material delivery, which significantly disrupt project progress. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing delays in the warehouse construction project, focusing on the roles of contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project owners. Using a quantitative approach, the research identifies both internal and external factors that contribute to construction delays. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to examine the relationship between independent variables (work environment, material delays, equipment, labor, and design changes) and project implementation delays. The findings indicate that labor is the most influential factor, with a beta value of 0.455, followed by design changes, which have a positive though relatively minor effect. In contrast, work environment, material delays, and equipment factors show no significant impact. To mitigate delays, the study recommends strengthening coordination among stakeholders, improving resource management, and enhancing project planning. The research provides valuable insights for improving construction project management and preventing unforeseen delays in similar future projects.

Abstract

Cement setting time is the time required for cement to harden, calculated from when the cement begins to react with water to form a paste. Cement setting time refers to the period of time required for cement paste mixed with water to become stiff enough to form a structure and bind construction materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the normal consistency of cement and cement setting time for PCC and OPC cement. The results of this study are for the Normal Consistency test of Portland Cement PCC Ex. Tiga Roda with a penetration target of 10 mm obtained a water content of 30.8%. Normal Consistency test of Portland Cement OPC Ex. Tiga Roda with a penetration target of 10 mm obtained a water content of 26.4%. Testing the Setting Time of Portland cement PCC Ex. Tiga Roda obtained penetration at Initial Setting of 112 mm, Final Setting of 210 mm. Testing the Setting Time of Portland cement OPC Ex. Tiga Roda obtained penetration at Initial Setting of 111 mm, Final Setting of 210 mm.

Abstract

The construction of the Bhayangkari Police Headquarters in Lamongan is a large-scale project requiring efficient time management. This study aims to analyze the application of the Critical Path Method (CPM) to optimize project completion time. By applying the CPM method, the critical path is identified, which allows for prioritizing activities that significantly affect the overall project duration. The results of this study show that the project, initially planned to be completed in 150 calendar days, can be completed in 122 calendar days. The identification of the critical path reveals 31 activities that directly impact the project's overall duration. This research provides insights into time management in construction projects and recommends optimizing scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.

Abstract

Accessibility in station buildings is very important because stations are public buildings used by many people. Accessibility that meets standards will make the station more orderly, efficient, and effective. Plabuan Station is experiencing problems because several supporting facilities are not provided or do not meet the applicable regulations. The existing facilities, such as waiting rooms and toilets, are inadequate, while other essential facilities like parking spaces, pedestrian pathways, health service rooms, and ramp facilities are not available. Therefore, it is recommended to expand the station to the east, improve the layout, add parking facilities on the west side, and ensure the station facilities comply with regulations and are universally accessible.
