Abstract

Implementation of an electronic Restaurant Tax Transaction Data Monitoring System as a form of Restaurant tax monitoring is the latest policy implemented by the North Minahasa Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), aimed at increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) through increasing tax discipline. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness and investigate the background to the implementation of the electronic Tax Transaction Data Monitoring System in the Bapenda of North Minahasa Regency. This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Descriptive analysis is used by applying contribution and effectiveness ratio calculation formulas to evaluate the success of policies adopted by Bapenda. The research results show that the implementation of the electronic Tax Transaction Data Monitoring System was carried out in response to the tax payment policy with an online and self-assessment system. However, the effectiveness of this policy is not yet optimal because it does not meet the five implementation criteria. Some of the obstacles identified involve a lack of cooperation from taxpayers, a shortage of workers at Bapenda, interference with the electronic Tax Transaction Data Monitoring System equipment, and internet network problems. To overcome these obstacles, Bapenda took steps such as communicating again with electronic Tax Transaction Data Monitoring System technicians, conducting outreach, and giving awards to taxpayers.

Abstract

The learning process obtained from universities to develop students' soft skills is also influenced by practical experience in the field. To develop soft skills in students, they have been given theories and practices that support the lessons in higher education, so that students have experience that can be used as a basis when entering the world of work. This research aims to develop a practical learning model in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education, Manado State University. This research is developing research to develop a practical learning model. The online practice development model uses six interactions, namely interactions between students and lecturers, students with material, lecturers with material, students with students, lecturers with other lecturers, and material with material, through synchronous/asynchronous media. The results of this research show that the product developed is very suitable to be implemented to support online practical learning for core courses in higher education. This research has produced an online learning model for core subject practice with a flexible blended learning strategy at a low cost for students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. The resulting conclusion is that this model has the advantage of being able to create an online collaborative work environment. Validation by experts is carried out qualitatively and quantitatively.

The rapid growth in the digital economy has brought countless benefits, especially in the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) community. However, along with these opportunities, serious threats also emerge in the form of increasingly sophisticated cybercrime. This article aims to explain the important role of cyber security in digital transactions and how it can be used as an educational tool for the MSME community. The importance of understanding cyber threats and cyber security practices in a rapidly changing digital era cannot be underestimated. This article discusses the various types of cyber threats that MSMEs may face, such as phishing, malware, and ransomware attacks, as well as the financial and reputational impact these attacks can have. Additionally, this article highlights the cyber security principles that MSMEs must follow to protect their data and digital transactions. Apart from explaining threats, this article also promotes the role of education in increasing MSME awareness and understanding of cyber security. We present practical recommendations on how MSMEs can educate themselves and their team members on cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, this article discusses available resources, such as online training and security tools that can help MSMEs protect their businesses from cyber threats. With a better understanding of cyber security and best practices in digital transactions, the MSME community can reduce the risk of data and financial loss, and build a stronger foundation for sustainable growth in the digital economy era. Abstract

An academic information system is an application that can facilitate to processing of data and information related to academic problems. Currently, SMK Negeri 1 Tondano as one of the vocational schools in North Sulawesi still uses manual methods in processing the data and information needs, so it feels less effective and efficient. This causes the data process to not be integrated properly, and it takes a long time to process data or information. This research was conducted to develop a web-based academic information system at SMK Negeri 1 Tondano. Where this information system is expected to be able to help the data and information processing process. In developing the system to be built, the research method used is the prototype development method and Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling to simplify the design of the system to be built. Based on the results of system testing using black-box testing, it is stated that the system can run as well as expected.
