Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the financial recording capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of the MitraKU digital application. The training was held on July 17, 2025, in Lhokseumawe and was attended by 20 business groups from various sectors, including food, agriculture, retail, services, and pet shops. The implementation methods included material presentation, hands-on practice, and technical assistance. The results showed that all participants successfully operated the MitraKU application independently, recorded daily transactions, and accessed basic financial reports. Initial outcomes indicated improved awareness of systematic financial recording, behavioral change in managing finances, and increased confidence in making business decisions. This success demonstrates that a simple digital application can significantly improve financial literacy among MSMEs. Further follow-up, such as regular mentoring and strengthening the role of local champions, is necessary to ensure the sustainability of this technological adoption.

Abstract

This study addresses the low level of premarital literacy among Generation Z, which has implications for economic readiness, mental preparedness, and legal understanding before marriage. The research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of an interactive premarital literacy program conducted through community service activities at MAN 1 Boyolali. The problem was the lack of structured and contextual education on premarital readiness in senior high schools. Using a educational approach with interactive lecture method, data were collected through observation, pre-test and post-test, and documentation. The participants were 50 twelfth-grade students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The results showed a 32% average increase in knowledge after the program, with the highest improvement in legal understanding (38%), followed by economic readiness (28%) and mental preparedness (24%). The findings confirm that integrating interactive lectures, case studies, and contextual discussions significantly enhances premarital literacy, especially in Generation Z. This study suggests incorporating premarital literacy into the school curriculum as a preventive education strategy to prepare youth for building healthy and sustainable marriages.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a central issue in strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs, especially in rural areas. This community service activity focuses on assisting MSMEs in Gunungan Village, Magetan Regency, in facing the challenges of the digital era through the digitization of promotion and sales. The objective of this activity is to enhance the digital literacy of SME operators, expand market reach through social media and digital platforms, and strengthen local identity through location-based digital integration (Google Maps, Google Business Profile). The method employed is a participatory approach based on community organizing, implemented through stages of socialization, technical training, direct mentoring, and participatory evaluation. The results of the activity showed an increase in SMEs' understanding of the importance of digitalization, skills in creating digital business accounts, and the utilization of location features in marketing. The expected social changes also began to emerge, such as increased community involvement in the digital ecosystem, the emergence of collaboration among SMEs, and the formation of a digital SME community in Gunungan Village. This activity underscores the importance of a sustainable and adaptive approach in empowering communities through digital applications

Abstract

Wonorejo Village, located in Pagerwojo District, Tulungagung Regency, has a wealth of local potential, from traditional arts to MSME products such as banana chips and rempeyek. However, the use of social media as a promotional tool is still limited and individuals have not yet integrated it into an organized village promotion system. The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of social media helps promote village potential and to develop sustainable and successful optimization methods. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through observation, interviews, and documentation of MSME actors and the village community. The results showed that two main obstacles in managing social media-based promotions were a lack of digital literacy and limited human resources. To address these issues, an official Instagram account for Wonorejo Village was created to share the village's potential with others, and a digital map of MSMEs was created through Google Maps to facilitate information and expand market reach. It is hoped that this optimization will improve village branding, boost the local economy, and provide greater visibility to the potential of Wonorejo Village to the general public.

Abstract

The village of Carabaka on Bawean Island is faced with two challenges: revitalizing its social and religious spirit, and optimizing its untapped local economic potential. Often, the separation between spiritual activities and economic growth hinders holistic community development. Therefore, this community service program aims to implement a collaborative community empowerment model that synergizes the revitalization of religious spirituality with strengthening the local economy. The program uses Participatory Action Research (PAR), in which the community is involved in every stage of the process, from planning and action to observation and reflection. This strategy is realized through programs such as fundraising for mosque renovations, supporting home-based chip businesses, and strengthening religious educational institutions. The results of the community service program demonstrate that this collaborative model successfully creates strong synergy. Community participation in religious activities has increased, building social capital in the form of trust and mutual cooperation. This social capital then serves as the foundation for economic mentoring programs, as evidenced by the growth of local chip businesses. Thus, the PAR approach has proven effective in uniting the two key pillars of sustainable village development.

Abstract

The Bunda BISA Program, organized by Yatim Mandiri Mojokerto, aims to enhance the skills and economic independence of widowed mothers who have lost their primary source of income. This program employs the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method to develop business skills rooted in community assets. The assistance provided includes training in production skills, marketing, business management, and access to capital. The results of the program demonstrate a significant increase in the participants' entrepreneurial skills, understanding of marketing strategies, and self-confidence. Furthermore, progress in product packaging and business legality has enabled them to expand their market reach. However, challenges remain in digital marketing and product legality that require further optimization. The success of this program serves as a potential model for the economic empowerment of women in other regions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence within Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) has become a serious concern in Islamic education. This community service project aimed to implement the concept of school well-being to prevent violence against students (santri), particularly at Hidayatut Thulab Islamic Boarding School, Petok Mojo, Kediri Regency. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, the program included several stages such as problem identification, training for boarding school administrators, psychological and clinical mentoring, as well as evaluation and monitoring. The training focused on six dimensions of psychological well-being as defined by Ryff: autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations with others, self-acceptance, and purpose in life. The results from questionnaire distribution indicated that most students demonstrated a positive level of psychological well-being, reflecting the success of the mentoring program in creating a safe, inclusive, and mentally supportive learning environment. This activity also encouraged a cultural transformation within the pesantren toward a more humane and responsive approach to students' developmental needs.

Abstract

Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a strategic step in sustainably improving the village economy. This article discusses a training program titled "Branding Assistance and Offline and Digital Promotion of MSMEs in Mejono Village," held in Mejono Village, Kediri Regency. This activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of MSMEs in building brand identities and marketing products through social media and digital platforms such as marketplaces. The methods used included educational counseling, interactive discussions, and technical demonstrations on how to sell on Shopee and Facebook, from creating accounts, taking product photos, writing descriptions, to determining selling prices. This activity presented competent speakers in the fields of digital marketing and e-commerce, and involved local MSMEs as the main participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' awareness of the importance of branding in differentiating products, as well as how digital promotion can expand market reach without the need for a physical store. Participants also gained an initial understanding of digital marketing communications based on the Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action approach (AIDA). This program is expected to be an inspiration for other villages in developing the potential of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises through the use of digital technology.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology demands mastery of educational content creation skills for Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) students in the Industry 4.0 era. Initial observations at MA Salafiyah Simbangkulon indicated limitations among students in this regard. This community service activity aimed to enhance students' understanding and practical skills in using Canva and CapCut applications to create engaging and innovative educational content. This activity was implemented through a workshop using presentation, practicum, and discussion methods, involving 40 grade 10 students of MA Salafiyah Simbangkulon. The success of the activity was measured by comparing pre-test and post-test results. The results showed a significant improvement in students' conceptual understanding and practical skills in Canva and CapCut. This was evidenced by an average score increase of 68% on the post-test compared to the pre-test. Furthermore, students successfully created sample educational content using both applications. Based on these results, it is recommended that advanced training and integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) utilization in the madrasah curriculum are needed to support a more creative, participatory, and relevant learning process in line with contemporary demands.
