Abstract

This service aims to increase the effectiveness and accountability in cooperative financial reporting through the implementation of training. The main focus of this training is to provide cooperative members with an in-depth understanding of the required financial reporting information and how to compile it accurately by utilizing the application created using the simple application in Ms. Excle. The community service method is carried out in the form of training starting from a group discussion forum, partner situation analysis, pretest, main training activities and post test. The results of this community service activity show that there is an increase in the knowledge, skills and abilities of partners in understanding the effectiveness and accountability in the financial management of the Cooperative by utilizing the application used. With this increased understanding, it is hoped that cooperatives can be more effective in presenting their financial information, supporting appropriate decision-making, and increasing trust from related parties.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian luar negeri dalam bentuk Psikoedukasi Mencintai Indonesia berupa Pengembangan Karakter dan Moral Pancasila bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak pekerja migran di Malaysia mengenai identitas kebangsaan Indonesia dan nilai-nilai moral Pancasila. Anak-anak pekerja migran sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya pendampingan orang tua karena kesibukan bekerja, keterbatasan akses terhadap pendidikan formal, serta keterasingan dari budaya dan identitas kebangsaan mereka. Selain itu, anak-anak ini sering mengalami tekanan emosional dan stigma sosial di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan memberikan psikoedukasi melalui pelatihan tatap muka, permainan edukatif, dan penayangan film pendek tentang Indonesia. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air, memperkuat identitas nasional, dan meningkatkan implementasi nilai-nilai moral Pancasila. Hasil uji perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada implementasi moral Pancasila dengan nilai P sebesar 0.017 dan z sebesar 2.379.

Abstract

The optimization of village websites is a strategic step in leveraging information technology to enhance the potential of Pait Village, Kasembon District, Malang Regency, as a tourist destination. Using a community development approach, this initiative actively involves local community participation in creating and managing website content that reflects local wisdom. Training and technical assistance were provided to village officials and residents to improve human resource capacity for sustainable website management. The results indicate significant improvements in the website’s design and content, along with increased community engagement in the development process. With this optimization, the village website functions not only as a medium for documenting village activities and promoting tourism but also as a branding tool that strengthens the local identity of Pait Village. Moving forward, sustained website management is expected to boost tourist visits and support the welfare of the village community through local economic growth. Abstract

In an effort to enhance production efficiency and digital marketing at UMKM Sekar Temulawak, an innovation was introduced in the form of an automatic filtering and packaging machine alongside the application of digital marketing strategies. The machine was designed based on the partner's specific needs and tested on a limited scale, resulting in a 40% increase in packaging efficiency. Additionally, the research team collaborated with the partner to develop a website for digital marketing, which has been registered for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). A Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted to prepare the machine and draft the usage procedures and digital marketing strategy. This project provides a technology-based solution to help UMKM expand their market reach

Abstract

Generasi Pesona Indonesia (GenPi) Sulawesi Barat yang tersebar di setiap kabupaten Kota menjadi representasi pariwisata sebagai pemandu wisata bagi wisatawan yang berkunjung baik lokal maupun mancanegara. Sayangnya, kemampuan berbicara bahasa inggris sebagai bahasa internasional yang dimiliki oleh mitra masih sangat minim. Saat memandu wisatawan mancanegara, kadangkala mitra hanya menggunakan bahasa isyarat dan bantuan google terjemahan. Tim pengabdian memberikan pelatihan Bahasa Inggris selama 2 hari berupa tour guide untuk peningkatan Speaking dan Listening dari penutur asing. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan pre-experimental method dengan pre dan post test instrument dengan materi Got Talent, Fun English, Simple Present Tense for Speaking and Asking Direction, serta Role Play menjadi Tour Guide. Capaian kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan yang dirasakan oleh mitra mengenai kemampuan bahasa inggris mereka. Hal ini juga ditunjukkan melalui pre test dan post test yang telah diberikan berupa Pemberdayaan dan peningkatan keterampilan mitra dalam berbicara bahasa inggris khususnya ketika menjadi pemandu wisata.

Abstract

Waste from agricultural products such as straw, husks, leaves and grass which are easily available, are recycled and broken down with the help of decomposer microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. The methods used in community service activities are the diffusion of science and technology and training to the Sadar farmer group regarding making solid organic fertilizer, demonstrations/training. Service activities were carried out from April 2024 to September 2024. From the results of the service that was carried out, farmers were very enthusiastic about adopting the technology that was provided during the activity. Farmers directly apply the resulting solid organic fertilizer products to corn plants. The use of solid organic fertilizer is applied to the planting land 1 week before planting.

Abstract

The increasing need for food and energy efficiency in the agricultural sector is a challenge for small businesses such as PagiFarm. This community service aims to implement solar power plants to support the development of hydroponic gardens at PagiFarm. The use of renewable energy is expected to reduce dependence on conventional electricity and increase the operational efficiency of the garden. The methods used include solar panel installation, technical training, and assistance in operating the system. The results of this program show that the use of solar panels can meet the daily electricity needs of hydroponic gardens and reduce operational costs by up to 30%. This implementation also increases awareness of the surrounding community about the importance of renewable energy in supporting agricultural businesses. In conclusion, solar power technology can be an efficient and sustainable solution for the development of small-scale agricultural businesses, while encouraging the adoption of environmentally friendly energy in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This community service program aims to re-use Eco-Friendly Organic Waste (LORALI) for the production of eco-enzyme. The program begins with a socialization session on the benefits of eco-enzyme, the techniques for making it, and its derivative products, targeted at both the pasantren (Islamic boarding school) management and its students. It is hoped that the partners will be able to manage organic waste independently, reduce environmental pollution, and enhance students' skills in eco-enzyme production and entrepreneurship, ultimately contributing to economic improvement. The results indicate that students’ knowledge and skills in eco-enzyme production have increased, as evidenced by high-quality, contamination-free products produced during the program.

Abstract

The group of business actors fostered by the IBS Cooperative is located at the Indonesia Banking School Campus, Jalan Kemang Raya No.35, South Jakarta. Members of this group include Mirasa, Warung tom-tom, Burger Crepes, Warung Sunda, Ayam Penyet Mas Nok, and Warung Solo Bu Wiwid. The main problem of this group of business actors is still using the manual financial reporting method. In addition, the main problem they face is a limited understanding of marketing promotion. To overcome this problem, training and financial assistance are carried out based on System Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and the expansion of digital marketing. SDLC will help improve efficiency and accuracy in the preparation of financial statements, while digital marketing training will enable businesses to optimize online marketing strategies. Through the implementation of this training and mentoring, the IBS Cooperative fostered business actors are able to improve business performance through the use of SDLC technology and more effective digital marketing. This activity also involves partner participation, evaluation, and program sustainability to ensure successful implementation.

Abstract

The Small Industry Entrepreneurs Association (APIK) in North Sulawesi faces challenges in adopting modern technology to enhance the quality and efficiency of coconut-based crafts. Key issues include limited access to technology, technical skills, and product marketing. To address these challenges, community service team conducted activities involving socialization, training, and laser engraving technology implementation. Training participants were guided in using laser machines to improve product quality and expedite production. Additionally, digital marketing training was provided to help participants expand their product market reach. Training results showed a significant increase in technical skills and participants’ understanding of laser engraving technology. Pretest and posttest results indicated a notable improvement in participants' comprehension. Laser technology proved effective in boosting production efficiency and product quality. This program is expected to continue with support from the Provincial Cooperative and SME Service Center (PLUT-KUMKM) of North Sulawesi, which will provide facilities and market access for APIK artisans.
