Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training on employee productivity at PT PLN Indonesia Power Mahakam Generating Business Unit (UBP), with communication as a mediating variable. The background of this research is based on the importance of improving the quality of human resources through training as a key strategy to face the challenges of a dynamic electricity industry that demands high professionalism. Training is seen as a strategic investment that not only improves employee skills and productivity but also strengthens the company's competitiveness amid technological changes and evolving market needs. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT PLN UBP Mahakam, with a total of 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM techniques to test the relationship between training, communication, and employee productivity variables. The results showed that training has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. In addition, communication is proven to significantly mediate the effect of training on productivity. This means that effective training not only increases individual competence, but also improves the quality of internal communication, which in turn has an impact on increasing overall productivity. This finding strengthens the evidence that training and communication are key factors in human resource development and achieving organizational goals. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that companies continue to develop training programs that are relevant to job needs and strengthen internal communication systems

Abstract

The compensation system is one of the important aspects in human resource management that is designed to motivate, attract and retain employees. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current compensation system in Chickenin Saozan with a focus on looking at the relationship between the compensation system and the level of employee job satisfaction. This study was conducted with a qualitative research approach and type, where the data collection method was in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The study focused on evaluating the company's compensation system in Chickenin Saozan and the object of the study involved several aspects such as financial compensation, non-financial compensation and job satisfaction. The data analysis method in this study used a qualitative approach with a focus on data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the compensation system and bonus system provided by the company have not been able to meet employee expectations. The compensation standard is still too far from employee expectations and has not met the standards in force in Indonesia, which is 10-15% lower than the industry standard, while the bonus system tends to be uniform without considering individual performance. Non-compliance with regulations, especially regarding the provision of THR which does not reach one full month's salary, also has an impact on decreasing employee motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of investment knowledge and financial behavior on investment decisions with investment interest as a moderating variable for students in Semarang City. This type of research uses quantitative research with a population of students in Semarang City. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with special criteria, because the number of students is unknown, the sample is determined by multiplying a minimum sample of 10 by the number of indicators 14 and 140 respondents are obtained. Measurements using a linkert scale which is then processed on SmartPLS 3.0 using the SEM-PLS method. The results show that investment knowledge has a significant positive effect and financial behavior does not have a significant effect on investment decisions. And investment interest as a moderating variable strengthens the influence of investment knowledge and financial behavior on investment decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Risk Perception, and Financial Behavior on Gold Installment Investment Decisions. The approach used is quantitative with primary data sources collected through questionnaires. The population used in this study consists of customers of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Pati Sudirman who have made gold installment investments. This study employs Non-Probability Sampling with a sample size of 160 respondents. Measurements in this study used a Likert scale, wich was then processed using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25 with multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between financial literacy and investment decisions, financial risk perception has a positive and significant influence on investment decisions, and financial behavior has a positive and significant influence on investment decisions. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test yielded an Adjusted R2 value of 0,461 or 46,1%, indicating that the investment decisions variable is influenced by financial literacy, financial risk perception, and financial behavior, while the remainder is influenced by variables outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and promotion on the purchase intention of TikTok Shop users in Samarinda City. The issue addressed is the high level of user activity in browsing and liking products, which is not matched by a corresponding level of purchasing decisions. A quantitative approach was used through a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 active TikTok Shop users. The results show that both price and promotion have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Consumers are more likely to make purchases when they perceive the price as appropriate for the product quality, while attractive promotions such as discounts, vouchers, and creative content help create positive perceptions and encourage buying decisions. These findings provide valuable implications for digital business actors to design competitive pricing strategies and relevant promotional efforts to increase consumer purchase intention. Theoretically, the study reinforces that classic marketing mix elements remain relevant and influential in shaping consumer behavior in the digital era, particularly in the context of e-commerce platforms like TikTok Shop.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employer attractiveness and work motivation on employee performance, with digital skills as a mediating variable in the furniture industry in Jepara. The research is driven by the need for digital adaptation in traditional industries and the observed underutilization of digital facilities by employees. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The variables examined include employer attractiveness, work motivation, digital skills, and employee performance. The results indicate that both employer attractiveness and work motivation significantly influence employee performance, either directly or indirectly through digital skills. Digital skills act as an effective mediating variable that strengthens the relationships among the variables. This research offers practical insights for companies to formulate human resource development strategies that align with technological advancements to enhance overall performance.

Abstract

This study examines the fundamental differences between the Islamic money markets in Indonesia and Kuwait in terms of system structure, financial instruments, regulation, and the role of monetary authorities. Indonesia applies a dual banking system where Islamic and conventional systems operate side by side, while Kuwait adopts an integrated system where Islamic instruments are embedded in national monetary policy. Indonesia's instruments are more diverse (e.g., PUAS, SBIS, Sukuk BI), yet face challenges in liquidity and market penetration. In contrast, Kuwait utilizes instruments such as interbank tawarruq and ijarah-based short-term securities, supported by a more mature Islamic financial infrastructure. This study highlights the importance of regulatory support, financial education, and infrastructure enhancement to strengthen the role of Islamic money markets in national financial stability.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Lamikro application (Micro Business Accounting Report) in the financial statements of laundry SMEs in Kulim District, Pekanbaru. The objective of this research is to assess the effectiveness of the Lamikro application in enhancing the quality of record-keeping and financial report preparation, as well as its impact on business profitability. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method, involving six months of observation and in-depth interviews with three laundry SMEs: Prigamas Laundry, DiLaundry, and Nisa Laundry. The findings indicate that Lamikro significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of financial report preparation, reducing the time required from 8-15 hours to just 1-3 hours. Adaptation to the application varied, with DiLaundry being the fastest and Nisa Laundry the slowest. Analysis of the Net Profit Margin (NPM) reveals an increase in profitability for all three SMEs: Prigamas Laundry (from 69.05% to 70.34%), DiLaundry (from 47.46% to 55.92%), and Nisa Laundry (from 48.14% to 49.21%). It is concluded that Lamikro effectively enhances the quality of financial reports and profitability of laundry SMEs, influenced by digital literacy and managerial commitment.

Abstract

The gap between IT graduates’ skills and industry demands remains a barrier in the digital workforce. Limited project experience and professional connections hinder young talent from entering the job market. SIKOMPIT is introduced as an innovative solution a digital business platform that bridges collaboration between students, graduates, and industry partners. The development adopts a user-centered design approach through stages such as user research, backlog creation, roadmap planning, and business strategy using BMC, OKRs, and Product Metrics. Product validation was conducted through prototyping, usability testing, and A/B testing. Results show that SIKOMPIT has the potential to improve job readiness, project portfolios, and professional connectivity. The platform also contributes to building a collaborative digital ecosystem that supports the development of tech human resources in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Return on Assets (ROA) in cigarette subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The population of this study includes all cigarette subsector companies listed on the IDX during the research period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in 4 companies as samples. The data analysis method applied is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that Total Asset Turnover have a positive effect on ROA, while Current Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio has a significant negative effect on ROA. These findings indicate that liquidity level, asset utilization efficiency, and capital structure influence the profitability level of the companies.
