Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran Fisika materi Teori Kinetik Gas untuk siswa kelas XI. Penggunaan multimedia dalam pendidikan dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Minat belajar siswa distimulasi dengan penggunaan multimedia interaktif yakni media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint dengan simulasi menggunakan website PhET dan games interaktif Wordwall yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Kelayakan multimedia interaktif materi Teori Kinetik Gas berbasis PowerPoint diperoleh dari hasil uji validasi pada 6 validator ahli dengan hasil rata-rata penilaian 86,41% dan tergolong kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kelayakan media yang telah dikembangkan maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa multimedia interaktif materi teori kinetik gas layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran siswa baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah secara mandiri. Kata Kunci: Multimedia interaktif, minat belajar, teori kinetik gas Abstract The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia products on the subjects of Physics of Gas Kinetic Theory material for grade XI students. The use of multimedia in education can help students in increasing students' interest in learning. Student interest in learning is stimulated by the use of interactive multimedia, namely PowerPoint-based learning media with simulations using the PhET website and interactive Wordwall games developed by researchers. The development research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The feasibility of interactive multimedia material on PowerPoint-based Gas Kinetic Theory was obtained from the results of validation tests on 6 expert validators with an average result of 86.41% classified as very feasible. Based on the results of media feasibility research that has been developed, it was concluded that interactive multimedia gas kinetic theory material is suitable to be used as an alternative to student learning media both at school and outside school independently. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of striking force on the sound intensity of the ketipung musical instrument made of paralon pipes with a length of 20 cm and a diameter of 114 mm on the resulting sound intensity. The research data was obtained using the experimental method. Different styles indicate different sound intensity levels, the higher the force applied, the higher the resulting sound intensity and vice versa, the lower the potential energy, the lower the sound intensity, following the equation y = 3.5341e0.7416x with y as a level function Sound intensity and x as the hitting force. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the relationship between the hitting force per unit area and the sound intensity follows an exponential equation.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika di sekolah sebagian besar berpusat pada materi yang diajarkan dalam buku. Tidak banyak pembelajaran fisika yang benar-benar menjelaskan dan menerapkan realitas budaya di sekitar siswa. Salah satu budaya yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran yakni tari Lenggang Kencana. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep fisika materi gerak dan gaya pada tari Lenggang Kencana dan mengetahui cara penerapannya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian etnofisika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data yang diperoleh, peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Peneliti mengecek keabsahan data dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa konsep fisika gerak dan gaya pada tari Lenggang Kencana, diantaranya gerak lurus beraturan, gerak lurus berubah beraturan, gerak melingkar, gaya gesek, dan hukum I Newton serta tarian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran fisika berupa praktik secara langsung, video pembelajaran, dan juga dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) dengan tema kearifan lokal.

Abstract

The research conducted at SMAN Umbulsari aimed to analyze the relationship between students' interest in physics learning and their learning outcomes. The study employed quantitative research methods and included all class X.2 students, totaling 35 individuals. The majority of students exhibited a good level of interest in learning physics, with 86% reporting feelings of happiness regarding their studies. Additionally, 12 students achieved high learning outcomes. The analysis revealed a significant positive correlation (correlation coefficient of 0.366 with a significance level of 0.031) between students' interest in learning physics and their learning outcomes. This suggests that higher levels of interest in learning correlate with better academic performance. In conclusion, the research indicates that students who are more interested in learning physics tend to achieve better learning outcomes compared to those with lower levels of interest

Abstract

One of the materials studied by physics education students at the University of Jember in the agrophysics course is material about ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Understanding the material requires the ability to think critically. With critical thinking, students' understanding can be said to be good on ionizing and non-ionizing radiation material. In this study using descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The purpose of using this method is to describe the understanding of physics education students in understanding ionizing radiation material (ionizing) type of gamma rays on food preservation. Respondents in this study were physics education students at the University of Jember totaling 50 students. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis of the answers obtained from the Physics Education students of Jember University on the questionnaire regarding the understanding of gamma-ray irradiation techniques in food preservation, it can be concluded that the understanding of the concept of students is quite good. Students who are prospective physics teachers must have an understanding of the concept of physics. To improve understanding, it is necessary to have a good discussion and argue logically to train critical thinking.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah pembelajaran yang memperhatikan kemampuan siswa yang beragam. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi fokus pada pendekatan berbasis keberagaman, yang dapat membantu siswa memenuhi kebutuhan belajarnya berdasarkan berbagai aspek seperti kesiapan siswa, minat dan profil belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini sebagai bukti keefektifan pada penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada pembelajaran fisika berdasarkan berbagai artikel penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Studi kepustakaan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mengadakan studi penelaahan terhadap artikel-artikel penelitian yang relevan pada jurnal ilmiah online. Artikel dikumpulkan dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah yang membahas tentang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan analisis data dari 20 artikel didapatkan efektifitas dari pembelajaran berdiferensiasi cukup tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada pembelajaran fisika pada sekolah menengah berhasil cukup efektif memberikan dampak baik bagi siswa. Penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang benar mampu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep fisika, keterampilan proses sains, memotivasi siswa untuk belajar sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze student activities in Madrasah Aliyah Rejang Lebong. The data was then analyzed using the Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA) technique. This research carried out observations through learning videos which were documented on hydrostatic pressure and Pascal's law. The research method uses a mix method with an exploratory sequential approach where with this approach qualitative data is obtained first and then quantitative data can be obtained. The qualitative data that will be obtained will be in the form of conversation transcripts or conversational dialogue obtained using the TBLA technique. Then a more in-depth analysis of student activity can be carried out from the results of the student activity instrument obtained from the analysis of conversational dialogue which is adjusted to the category of student activity. The results of the research show that based on the student engagement instrument, the most prominent student activities are participating in carrying out their learning tasks, involved in problem solving and carrying out group discussions according to teacher instructions

Abstract

Learning motivation is an important thing that students must have in learning. Learning motivation is an encouragement for students to be able to carry out learning well to achieve a learning goal. However, not all learning processes can create good learning motivation for students, this also affects student learning outcomes, even though learning success can be seen one way from learning outcomes. student. This research aims, first, to determine the differences in learning motivation between students who use Wordwall assessment media and those who use test paper assessments. Second, to determine the difference in learning motivation between students who use Wordwall assessment media and those who use test paper assessment media. This research uses an experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The findings show that the average learning outcomes of students who use Wordwall assessment media are higher than students who use paper tests. Apart from that, the average learning motivation score of students who use Wordwall assessment media is higher than students who use paper tests. It can be sai, that this research has obtained results that show the influence of using wordwall assessment media on learning motivation and better learning outcomes because of its attractive features.

Abstract

The quality education depends on quality of learning process. So, it was needed to know how the student initial ability. This research aimed to describe the physics students critical thinking skill and creative thinking skill about physics concept. The method was descriptive research. The research respondents were physics students of 37 person at Class A, it consists of 5 male students and of 32 female students and physics student of 35 person at Class B, it consists of 5 male students and of 30 female students which have been take thermodynamics and modern physics on odd semester, academic year 2018/2019. The research data which was collected by using test, observation and documentation. The research data was analysed by using indicator percentage and descriptive. The result showed that average of critical thinking skill was 78,65. Interpretating around 6,8 Analysing around 8,17, evaluating around 8,97, Inferensi around 8,41 and explanation ability around 6,94. The average of creative thinking skill was 78,92. Creative thinking skill was fluency was 8,09, flexibility 8,4, originality 7,58 and elaboration 7,45. Therefore, an effort needed to improve physics student critical and creative thinking skill. It can be done by using some interactive model, media and teaching material in physics learning. Beside that needed alternative solution for development learning resource on learning physics in Higher Education with another local potential context.

Abstract

Advances in computer technology and software allow for more practical and accurate measurements. This study aims to measure the velocity of irrigation water surface flow using video analysis with Tracker application and linear regression in Microsoft Excel. Video data was recorded in the irrigation canal of Bendhung Lepen, Yogyakarta, using bamboo leaves as test objects. The analysis process involved tracking the motion of the object in the video and calculating the velocity based on the slope of the displacement versus time graph. The results showed that the velocity of water surface flow was (8.39 ± 0.05) cm/s from Tracker analysis and (8.39 ± 0.04) cm/s from Excel linear regression, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9985 and a coefficient of determination of 0.9971. This method proves the reliability and efficiency of a technology-based approach to water velocity measurement.
