Abstract

Kesiapan menjadi guru sangat diperlukan bagi mahasiswa calon guru untuk menghadapi dunia mengajar setelah lulus nanti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran efikasi diri dalam memediasi pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2018 Universitas Negeri Semarang. Jumlah sampel 139 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis jalur menggunakan SEM-PLS 3.3.9. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan PLP terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru. Tidak terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru. Terdapat pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap efikasi diri dan PLP terhadap efikasi diri. Tidak terdapat pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan PLP terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru melalui efikasi diri. The role of self-efficacy in a mediating family environment and PLP on readiness to become a teacherAbstract: Readiness to become a teacher is necessary for prospective students to face the world of teaching after graduation. This study aims to examine the role of self-efficacy in mediating the influence of the family environment and School Field Introduction (PLP) on readiness to become a teacher. This study uses a quantitative approach with a 2018 Department of Economics Education student population at Semarang State University. The number of samples was 139 students using the purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and path analysis using SEM-PLS 3.3.9. The study's results showed the influence of the family environment and PLP on readiness to become a teacher. There is no effect of self-efficacy on readiness to become a teacher. There is an influence of the family environment on self-efficacy and PLP on self-efficacy. There is no influence of the family environment and PLP on readiness to become a teacher through self-efficacy.

Abstract

Ditinjau dari tingkat pendidikan yang ditamatkan, lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dari tahun ke tahun selalu menjadi penyumbang angka pengangguran terbesar di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara efikasi diri, komunikasi interpersonal dan dukungan orang tua dengan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK dalam menghadapi dunia kerja setelah menyelesaikan pendidikannya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kompetensi Keahlian Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP) SMK Negeri 1 Bawang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 180 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji hipotesis. Kemudian analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa efikasi diri, komunikasi interpersonal dan dukungan orang tua secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Sedangkan secara parsial hanya efikasi diri dan komunikasi interpersonal yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kompetensi Keahlian OTKP SMK N 1 Bawang. Variabel dukungan orang tua tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Factors supporting work readiness: A quantitative analysis study Abstract: Judging from the level of education completed, graduates of Vocational High Schools (SMK) from year to year have always been the biggest contributor to the unemployment rate in Indonesia. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between self-efficacy, interpersonal communication, and parental support on the work readiness of vocational students in facing the world of work after completing their education. The subjects of this study were students of the Otomatisasi Tata Kelola dan Perkantoran at SMK Negeri 1 Bawang. The sample used in this study was 180 students using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and documentation methods. This study uses a quantitative research approach with hypothesis testing. Then the data analysis used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The study results show self-efficacy, interpersonal communication, and parental support influence students' work readiness. Meanwhile, partially, only self-efficacy and interpersonal communication influences the student work readiness of OTKP SMK N 1 Bawang. The parental support variable does not affect student work readiness.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid 19 telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap revolusi dunia pendidikan. Perubahan yang massif terjadi pada dunia pendidikan dengan peralihan pembelajaran tatap muka ke dalam pembelajaran online sebagai upaya pencegahan penyebaran infeksi Covid 19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis efek summated rating scale pada analisis faktor eksploratori instrumen Community of Inquiry (CoI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost facto dengan jenis deskriptif eksploratif kuantitatif. Data merupakan data sekunder dan diperoleh melalui laman http://data.mendeley.com. Kontributor data berasal dari Divisi Ilmu Pengetahuan, Teknik dan Studi Kesehatan, Sekolah Tinggi Profesi dan Berkelanjutan Pendidikan, Universitas Politeknik Hong Kong. Responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian merupakan mahasiswa D3 Ilmu Teknik dan Bisnis sebanyak 212 orang. Analisis efek metode Summated Rating Scaling dengan transformasi data yang kemudian dilanjutkan analisis faktor eksploratori instrumen Community of Inquiry (CoI) pada data sebelum dan sesudah transformasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan program R. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil EFA pada data Instrumen CoI sebelum dan sesudah transformasi dengan metode Summated Rating Scaling. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap implementasi praktek penskalaan data kuantitatif dalam penelitian pengukuran. Effects of Summated Rating Scale on Community of Inquiry instrument in online learning during the pandemic Abstract: The Covid 19 pandemic has significantly impacted the revolution in education. Massive changes occur in the world of education with the transition of face-to-face learning to online learning as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid 19 infection. This study aims to analyze the effect of a summated rating scale on exploratory factor analysis of Community of Inquiry (CoI) instruments. This research is an ex-post facto research with quantitative explorative, descriptive type. Data is secondary data and obtained through the page http://data.mendeley.com. Data contributors came from the Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies, College of Professional and Continuing Education, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Respondents who participated in the study were 212 D3 Engineering and Business Science students. Analysis of the effects of the Summated Rating Scaling method with data transformation which is then followed by exploratory factor analysis of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) instrument on the data before and after transformation. Data analysis was carried out using the R program. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the EFA results on the CoI Instrument data before and after transformation with the Summated Rating Scaling method. This research contributes to the implementation of quantitative data scaling practices in measurement research.

Abstract

The research aimed to (1) determine students' math anxiety levels, (2) know the level of students' self-regulated learning, (3) know the level of student academic procrastination, (4) determine the relationship between math anxiety and students' academic procrastination, (5) and determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and students' academic procrastination. The quantitative research method used correlational research, which is used to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The population was 152 students in class VIII of SMPN 2 Alalak. Samples were 62 students and were selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and hypothesis test using the Spearman rank correlation test. The finding showed that, first, the student's math anxiety level is in the medium category with a percentage of 62.90%. Second, the students' self-regulated learning level is in the medium category with a percentage of 54.84%. Third, the level of student academic procrastination is in the medium category, with a percentage of 75.81%. Fourth, there is a positive relationship between math anxiety and students' academic procrastination in Mathematics subjects in class VIII SMPN 2 Alalak. And there is a negative relationship between self-regulated learning and students' academic procrastination in Mathematics in class VIII SMPN 2 Alalak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur self-evaluation mahasiswa pendidikan matematika terhadap materi perkuliahan analsis real melalui pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu (purposive sampling) yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Pattimura yang mengikuti mata kuliah analisis real sebanyak 106 responden. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket self evaluation melalui google form dan berupa angket respon dengan metode skala Likert. Analisis awal dilakukan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen melalui perhitungan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) untuk mengetahui validitas konstruk instrumen dan Cronbach’s Alpha untuk mengetahui reliabilitas. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis Item Response Teory (IRT) politomus Rating Scale Model (RSM) untuk mengukur self-evaluation mahasiswa. Hasil analisis EFA menggunakan program R menghasilkan 7 faktor laten dari 30 item indikator dengan nilai Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) adalah 0. 79 dan MSA tiap item menunjukkan hasil > 0.5, loading faktor tiap item > 0.3 dan estimasi reliabilitas 0.877. Hasil perhitungan IRT politomus RSM menunjukkan model fit untuk setiap item dan diperoleh hasil IIF = 94.99%, TIF = 94.89%.  Kategori respon mahasiswa untuk self evaluation terhadap materi perkuliahan analisis real melalui pembelajaran online dengan θ = -1.55 sampai 1.89 yaitu kategori mudah, sedang dan sulit. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka instrumen dapat digunakan untuk mengukur self evaluation.  Penelitian ini berkonstribusi terhadap implementasi praktek penskalaan pada instrumen penelitian pengukuran data kuantitatif. Rating Scale Model: Student self-evaluation through online learning Abstract: This study aims to measure the self-evaluation of mathematics education students on real analysis lecture material through online learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with sampling based on certain considerations (purposive sampling), namely student of Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP Pattimura University who take real analysis courses as many as 106 respondents. Data was obtained by distributing self-evaluation questionnaires through google form and in the form of a response questionnaire with the Likert scale method. Initial analysis was carried out to determine the validity and reliability of the instrument through the calculation of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to determine the construct validity of the instrument and Cronbach's Alpha to determine reliability. Furthermore, Item Response Theory (IRT) analysis of the polytomus Rating Scale Model (RSM) was carried out to measure student self-evaluation. The results of the EFA analysis using the R program resulted in 7 latent factors from 30 indicator items with a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0. 79 and MSA for each item showing results > 0.5, factor loading for each item > 0.3 and a reliability estimate of 0.877. The results of the RSM polynomial IRT calculation show a fit model for each item and the results obtained IIF = 94.99%, TIF = 94.89%.  Student response categories for self-evaluation of real analysis lecture material through online learning with θ = -1.55 to 1.89 are easy, moderate and difficult categories. Based on the results of the analysis, the instrument can be used to measure self-evaluation. The research contributes to implementation of scaling practices in quantitative data measurement research instruments.

Abstract

Technopreneurship skill sangat diperlukan dalam pengembangan wirausaha berbasis teknologi di era revolusi industri 4.0. Oleh karena itu, menguasai technopreneurship skill sangat diperlukan khususnya bagi siswa SMK. Sudah banyak penelitian tentang technopreneurship, tetapi belum ditemukan bagaimana mengukur technopreneurship skill menurut persepsi siswa SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas kuisioner technopreneurship skill bagi siswa SMK. Penelitian ini melibatkan 240 siswa SMK kelompok teknologi di Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan secara proporsional random sampling dengan menggunakan kuesioner online. Validasi angket menggunakan teknik analisis Aiken V dan analisis CFA dengan software AMOS. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa SMK tentang technopreneurship skill dapat dijelaskan dengan lima indikator, yaitu: entrepreneur personal skill (EPS), technological adaptation skill (TS), learning skill (LS), business management skill (BMS), dan collaborative and communication skill CCS). Hasil akhir dari Technopreneurship Skill Questionnaire (TSQ) terdiri dari 19 item pertanyaan yaitu: entrepreneur personal skill (4 item), technological adaptation skill (5 item), learning skill (3 item), business management skill (4 item), dan collaborative and communication skill (3 items). Semua item memiliki nilai validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik. Temuan ini memberi implikasi bagi praktisi pendidikan kejuruan untuk perbaikan lebih lanjut. Praktisi kejuruan khususnya guru kewirausahaan SMK juga dapat menggunakan kuesioner ini untuk mengevaluasi kompetensi siswa di bidang wirausaha teknologi. Validation of technopreaneurship skill questionnaire: technology vocational students’ perspective Abstract: Technopreneurship skills were crucial in developing technology-based entrepreneurs during the industrial revolution 4.0 era, especially for vocational students. There have been many studies on the theme of technopreneurship, but it is hard to reveal technopreneur-ship skills based on the perceptions of vocational students. This study aims at developing an instrument to measure technopreneur-ship skills among vocational students. This study involved 240 students from state and private vocational high schools in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data were collected through proportional random sampling with an online questionnaire. The questionnaire instrument was validated using Aiken’s V analysis technique and confirmatory factor analysis with AMOS software. This study showed that vocational students’ perceptions of technopreneur-ship skills were divided into five indicators: entrepreneurial personal skills, technological adaptation skills, learning skills, business management skills, and collaborative and communication skills. The result of the Technopreneurship Skill Questionnaire consisted of 19 question items, i.e., entrepreneur personal skills (4 items), technological adaptation skills (5 items), learning skills (3 items), business management skills (4 items), and collaborative and communication skills (3 items). All items showed good validity and reliability results. These findings have implications for vocational education practitioners to make further improvements. Vocational practitioners, especially vocational entrepreneurship teachers, can utilize this questionnaire to evaluate students’ competencies in the field of technology entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media sosial dan konformitas terhadap pembelian impulsif dengan kontrol diri sebagai variabel moderasi di SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Rembang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 3.048 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian sebanyak 100 siswa. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data mengunakan statistik deskriptif dan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) berbasis PLS. Hasil analisis deskriptif, kategori variabel pembelian impulsif dan konformitas cukup, sedangkan kategori variabel penggunaan media sosial dan kontrol diri tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif. Konformitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif. Kontrol diri tidak mampu memperlemah pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap pembelian impulsif. Kontrol diri tidak mampu memperlemah pengaruh konformitas terhadap pembelian impulsif. Saran dari penulis yaitu siswa sebaiknya mempunyai perencanaan dan pertimbangan yang matang dalam hal keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the procedure for preparing student learning outcomes assessment instruments on archival management elements at SMK Negeri 9 Semarang in accordance with the mechanism for implementing the independent curriculum. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the preparation of assessment instruments had been carried out in terms of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. In planning, teachers develop learning tools and types of assessments to be used. On organizing, teachers make a cooperation, division of labor, and designing forms of assessment. In actuating, teachers do not compile assessment grids, but compile worksheets and assessment rubrics. In addition, the teacher only conducts qualitative analysis of question items. In controlling, teachers set criteria for achieving learning outcomes that refer to the criteria for achieving learning objectives. The conclusion of this study is that the preparation of learning outcome assessment instruments in terms of the planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling stages has been carried out in accordance with the mechanism for implementing the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media Kahoot. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI OTKP di SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan butir soal pilihan ganda. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t, dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre test kelas kontrol sebesar 49,65 dan rata-rata nilai post test sebesar 69,76. Nilai rata-rata pre test kelas eksperimen sebesar 46,71 dan rata-rata nilai post test sebesar 85,65. Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar (n-gain) pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,38 sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar (n-gain) pada kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 0,72. Kesimpulannya adalah hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media Kahoot lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media PowerPoint. Effectiveness of Kahoot vs. PowerPoint in improving student learning outcomes: A quasi-experimental study Abstract: This research aims to determine the different learning outcomes of students who use PowerPoint media and the learning outcomes of students who use Kahoot media. The subjects in this research were all class XI OTKP students at Teuku Umar Vocational School, Semarang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. The data collection method uses multiple-choice questions. The data analysis method uses the normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and n-gain test. The research results showed that the average pre-test score for the control class was 49.65 and the average post-test score was 69.76. The average pre-test score for the experimental class was 46.71 and the average post-test score was 85.65. There was an increase in learning outcomes (n-gain) in the control class of 0.38, while an increase in learning outcomes (n-gain) in the experimental class was 0.72. The conclusion is that the learning outcomes of students who use Kahoot media are higher than the learning outcomes of students who use PowerPoint media.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an evaluation instrument for the teaching factory (TEFA) program for culinary expertise competence at SMKN 6 Yogyakarta. Instruments developed based on the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Research methods using instrument development stages refer to test development procedures according to Oriondo & Dallo-Antonio: (1) test design, (2) trials, (3) determination of validity, and (4) determination of reliability. The sample used was 120 class XI Culinary students for the academic year 2023/2024 in the environment of SMKN 6 Yogyakarta. Polytome data were analyzed with the Partial Credit Model using the Quest program. The results showed that as many as ten items of evaluation instruments fit with the model. The reliability value of the instrument is 0.78. This means that the reliability of the instrument is in the high category.
