Abstract

Oemah Gechok Restaurant, located 350 meters from Saka Tunggal, is a local culinary business owned by the Village-Owned Enterprise in Cikakak, Wangon, Banyumas, which serves the traditional dish Ayam Gechok. Despite its great potential, Oemah Gechok Restaurant faced issues of low brand awareness and customer engagement, which could hinder its growth and sustainability. This service project focused on efforts to improve Oemah Gechok’s visibility and competitiveness through the design of a strong visual identity and the implementation of digital marketing strategies. The goal of this project was to strengthen the brand image and expand market reach. The methods used included the development of brand guidelines, logo creation, activation of Google Maps and Instagram, as well as training for the business managers. The results of this project showed a significant increase in customer interaction, with Instagram account reach increasing by 300% and content impressions rising by 1,720%. Satisfaction surveys indicated that the training successfully enhanced the knowledge and skills of the managers, positively impacting business management. The impact of this project not only increased brand awareness but also made a tangible contribution to supporting local economic growth through more effective and sustainable marketing strategies.

Abstract

Sekolah Sampah Bantala Abyudaya (Kolam Banyu) was established to instill awareness of environmental preservation. Therefore, Kolah Banyu, with its noble goal, needs environmental ambassadors who can speak in public to achieve this. The PPK Ormawa Team of BEM Universitas AKPRIND Indonesia tried to help overcome this problem by holding public speaking training. This training aims to improve the skills and confidence of prospective Kolah Banyu environmental ambassadors. The public speaking training targets PIK-R Mekar Asri Padukuhan Kroco, Sendangsari, Pengasih Kulon Progo, who will later act as environmental ambassadors at Kolah Banyu. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, the average pre-test score of participants was 41.62 with a standard deviation of 6.60, while the average post-test score increased to 81.47 with a standard deviation of 6.10. The paired t-test showed a t-statistic of -28.305 and a p-value of 0.000, while the Wilcoxon test gave a statistical value of 0.0 and a p-value of around 1.16e-10. These tests indicate that the training effectively increased knowledge, confidence, and public speaking skills. In addition, no participants experienced a decrease in scores, proving that all participants experienced increased knowledge and skills with a 95% confidence level.

Abstract

The digital content creation training for Tasikmadu Village officials in Malang City was organized with the aim of enhancing skills in creating effective digital content as an informative medium. With the rapid development of the digital era, village officials must present information in an engaging and interactive manner to make it more easily accepted by the public. This training was meticulously planned to provide an understanding of the fundamental concepts of graphic design, appropriate visual media selection, and messaging strategies tailored to the audience's requirements. Participants learned how to create attractive and relevant visual content, such as infographics, using the Canva app in both web and mobile versions. Furthermore, the training was practical and interactive, with direct demonstrations and content creation exercises for the participants. The training resulted in a significant improvement in participants' abilities to effectively use visual elements, organize appealing layouts, and present information in a more dynamic and easily understandable manner. This training is expected to help village officials maximize the use of digital content for more effective communication with the community.

Abstract

Back pain is increasingly common in adolescents, including junior high school students, mainly due to the habit of sitting for long periods in non-ergonomic positions. Sitting in an unergonomic posture can put excessive pressure on the spine and cause muscle imbalances, triggering back pain. Counseling is carried out as a preventive measure to reduce the risk of back pain due to the habit of sitting for long periods in the wrong position. Counseling was carried out on students of Diponegoro Tumpang Junior High School using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method involving students as active participants and physiotherapy students as speakers. The activity was carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test, each consisting of 5 questions to evaluate the level of student understanding of the topic. The results of the counseling showed that the students' post-test scores regarding their understanding of the topic presented increased, compared to the scores during the pre-test. This shows that the counseling that was carried out has increased students' understanding so that it is hoped that students will be more concerned with good sitting positions to prevent back pain.

Abstract

In the midst digital transformation, MSMEs, especially the West Java Footwear Producers Alliance (ASPAK JABAR) in Indonesia, face new marketing challenges. This study focuses on implementing Content Creation Training (CETAR) to help ASPAK JABAR transition from contract manufacturing to retail by enhancing their digital marketing skills. CETAR includes training in copywriting, public speaking, and video editing. The implementation method of the study uses Pragmatic Action Research (PAC) approach. Results show that CETAR improves ASPAK JABAR's digital marketing abilities, including social media use, copywriting, design, public speaking, and video editing. The program positively impacts MSMEs, enhancing visibility and business opportunities. CETAR is a creative solution for digital marketing challenges, contributing to MSMEs' economic development in Indonesia.

Abstract

A strategic step to improve the marketing of small and medium enterprise (MSME) products in Meri Village, Purbalingga Regency is to integrate marketplace applications. The development of digital technology has given small business owners new opportunities to grow their business through online platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok Shop. The objective of this community service program is to provide MSME participants with knowledge about the advantages, working methods, and marketing tactics in the marketplace. Activities are conducted through lectures, tutorials, discussions, and hands-on guidance in creating accounts and managing online stores. The results show that participants better understand digital marketing, are more interested in adopting marketplaces, and are better able to reach a wider range of consumers. It is hoped that MSMEs in Meri Village can increase competitiveness, profits, and the welfare of local communities with continued support.
