Abstract

The primary objective of this study was to create suitable English grammar resources tailored for auditory learners by utilizing YouTube videos. This development was targeted at first-semester students enrolled in the Islamic Elementary School Education Program at the Tarbiyah Faculty of Institut Agama Islam Ngawi. The researcher employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, specifically the Thiagarajan Model, which involves four key phases: Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. Conducted within the Islamic Elementary School Education Program at the Tarbiyah Faculty of Institut Agama Islam Ngawi, this study involved 8 students characterized by an auditory learning style. The findings of this research indicated the appropriateness of the English grammar material designed for auditory learners and based on YouTube videos. Expert evaluations rated the material expert at 4, the language expert at 4, and the media/IT expert at 4, resulting in an overall mean score for product validity of 4, denoting an excellent rating. Consequently, it can be inferred that YouTube videos present an effective alternative teaching medium for auditory learners.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of P5PPPRA local wisdom at Madrasah Aliyah Kotabaru and several processes carried out by the madrasah in implementing P5PPPRA activities. The study also aims to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of P5PPPRA Local Wisdom at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Kotabaru. The research in this article uses a qualitative descriptive research method based on a case study. The location of the study is Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum in the Pulau Laut Utara District, Kotabaru Regency. Data sources in this research are obtained through informants, activities, and documents related to the performance of Madihin in the implementation of P5PPPRA. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observations, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the head of the madrasah and two teachers who are part of the P5PPPRA facilitator team with the theme of Local Wisdom at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Kotabaru. Observations were made by directly observing the design, management, assessment and reporting of results, as well as evaluation and follow-up in the implementation of P5PPPRA activities at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Kotabaru.The research findings are as follows: (1) The Implementation of the Strengthening Project of Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil'alamin Student Profile at MA Darul Ulum Kotabaru, which is in Phase E of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation, is carried out in the form of extracurricular activities by 28 students from class 10, addressing the theme of Local Wisdom with the sub-theme or topic "Madihin as an Islamic Preaching Medium in Kotabaru Regency." The allocated time for the local wisdom theme at MA Darul Ulum Kotabaru is 54 hours or 18 meetings scheduled every Thursday from October 19 to November 23, 2023. (2) During the implementation of P5PPPRA Local Wisdom activities at MA Darul Ulum Kotabaru, the head of the madrasah, as the activity coordinator along with 9 teachers in the madrasah who are part of the P5PPPRA Local Wisdom facilitator team, took several steps including the planning stage, design stage, assessment and implementation stage, and reporting and evaluation stage. (3) Supporting factors for the implementation of P5PPPRA Local Wisdom at MA Darul Ulum Kotabaru include ease of obtaining information related to Madihin and the availability of Madihin equipment. The inhibiting factors include the readiness of students in Madihin game rules and the lack of time allocation in the learning process or preparation for P5PPPRA.

Abstract

The low motivation to learn Aqidah Akhlak among students of Class V MI Islamiyah is a very concerning thing. This can affect students' understanding of religious and moral values that are important for their character development. This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment methods in increasing the learning motivation of class V students at MI Islamiyah in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak. Data collection techniques used in this study include tests, observations, and field notes, then the data obtained is analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The results of the study showed the influence of reward and punishment methods with differences in the average cognitive value and the average motivation value of students. Before using the reward and punishment method, the average cognitive value was 74 and the average motivation value was 68%. The average cognitive value after applying the reward and punishment method increased to 88 and the increase in the average motivation value was 86%. Based on this, it can be concluded that learning using the reward and punishment method can increase the motivation to learn Aqidah Akhlak in class V MI Islamiyah.

Abstract

The main aim of this research is to determine the application of the jarimatics method in improving students learning outcomes in numeracy skills and to determine the obstacles in its application in class II at SDN Pebatan 01 Brebes. The approach taken in research uses a quantitative experimental approach. Effort techniques for collecting data by conducting observations and tests. The results obtained were that by using the Jarimatika method there was an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning, where there were 25 students who had successfully completed the material with a percentage of 89%, while 3 students had not succeeded in completing it with a percentage of 11%.

Abstract

This study examined self-efficacy among students at MA Al-Bairuny Sambong Dukuh Jombang and explored ways to enhance it through verbal persuasion strategies in religious extracurricular programs. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed an increase in students' self-confidence and courage, along with the supporting role of religious extracurricular teachers. However, inhibiting factors included inadequate facilities, teacher absence, and individual differences among students. Overall, the study emphasizes the importance of self-efficacy and provides insights into its promotion in religious extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This research aims to develop multimedia learning based on problem based learning on force and movement material for fourth grade elementary school students. The method used in this research is the research and development or R&D method. Meanwhile, the research model used refers to the ADDIE research model. The ADDIE model has five stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SDN Mojoroto 4, Kediri city with a total of 26 students as test subjects. The research instruments used in this research were observation guidelines, expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires and test questions. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product can be determined. The average product validity test results obtained a score of 87.5% with very valid criteria, the product practicality test results based on teacher responses obtained a score of 94% with very practical criteria, while the product effectiveness test results showed that the learning multimedia developed was effectively used to improve results. Student learning on force and motion material shows a student classical score of 84. Based on the results of the research and development that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the product developed is suitable for use in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

English is an international language spoken all over the world. English is also one of the disciplines that has been taught since the end of the school to become one of compulsory courses given in the early semesters. To be able to improve speaking skills educators can use the learning model of storytelling or chanting. The application of storytelling to improve the ability to speak English can be one of the alternatives can also be applied. The research is aimed at improving English speaking skills through Storytelling methods in New Students of the Faculty of Dakwah, Ushuluddin, and Psychology of the Islamic University of Tribakti Lirboyo Kediri. English is an international language spoken almost all over the world. English is also one of the compulsory courses programmed by graduates in the first semester. Being able to speak or communicate actively and smoothly in English is also an extra point for students in the age of globalization. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive types. The results show an improvement in the ability to speak English through the application of the Storytelling learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the creative character values contained in the grade4 Indonesian language textbook of the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a qualitative studyusing the text analysis method to study textbooks. The data of this research is the content of the creativity element of the Grade 4 Indonesian language textbook of the Merdeka Curriculum.Based on the analysis, the Indonesian language book for grade 4 of the Merdeka Curriculumcontains creative character values in Chapters I, II, III, IV, V, VII, and VIII. This can be seenfrom the creative elements included in each chapter. However, this element is not found inChapter VI because the focus is more on mastering the material

Abstract

PPDB merupakan hal wajib yang dilaksanakan oleh setiap madrasah. Hal ini akan sangat mempengaruhi segala kegiatan madrasah apabila tidak dilaksanakan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengungkapkan strategi kesuksesan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dalam menggaet peserta didik baru dengan flexing ritual agama Islam. 2) kelebihan dan kekurangan strategi yang dilaksanakan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah terhadap pemerolehan peserta didik baru. Metode yang digunakan ada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskritif dengan didukung alat pengumpul data wawancara , dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) flexing ritual agama Islam Madrasah Ibtidaiyah An-Noor Ngawi diwujudkan dari macam-macam kegiatan ritual Islami dan berbagai pencapaian dari ajang lomba disebar luaskan melalui jalur luring, daring, proses(harian) dan insidental. 2) Kelebihan flexing ritual agama Islam adalah masyarakat luas akan tertarik menyekolahkan anaknya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ibtidaiyah An-Noor Ngawi karena adanya informasi yang dikemas menarik dengan dasar kenyataan kegiatan Islami yang sudah dilaksanakan. Kekurangan dari strategi ini harus adanya perencaaan yang matang ketika salah dalam mengunggah ke media sosial dan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan harian harus ditambahkan pengawas sehingga kegiatan Islami berjalan secara hikmat.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out whether pronunciation is the most important problem in students' speaking and what factors affect students' pronunciation the most. This research has been completed at SMP N 4 Gunung Talang. This research was conducted because students pronounce sentences according to what is written, students do not pay attention to the teacher when learning takes place, and students feel embarrassed when pronouncing sentences in English. This research is a quantitative research with purposive sampling method with a sample size of 30 people. To collect research data, researcher used documents and questionnaires. In analyzing the data, the researcher analyzed the results of the assessment of the four aspects of student speaking and calculating mean score, for the research questionnaire was calculated using the percentage formula and Likert scale formula. From the results of the analysis of the four aspects of speaking namely pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and fluency it was found that, pronunciation aspect was the lowest score. And from the results of the questionnaire analysis it was found that native language was the dominant factor that most influenced students' pronunciation. The findings of this study contain two findings, the first is that pronunciation is the main problem in students' speaking assessment, and identity and language ego is the factor that most affects students' pronunciation with percentage 79, 96%.
