Lamahu: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Terintegrasi (Lamahu, P-ISSN: 2828-6839, E-ISSN: 2828-6677) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Department of Earth Science and Technology, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Lamahu provides open access to the principle that research published in this journal is freely available to the public to support the exchange of knowledge globally. Lamahu published two-issue articles per year namely February and August. Lamahu provides a place for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish scientific articles. Each text sent to Lamahu editor is reviewed by peer review. Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1 (February 2022), all manuscripts sent to the Lamahu editor are accepted in Bahasa Indonesia or English. The scope of the articles listed in this journal relates to various topics, including education for Sustainable Development, Community Services, People, Local Food Security, Nutrition and Public Health, Training, Marketing, Appropriate Technology, Design, Community Empowerment, Social Access, Student Community Services, Border Region, Less Developed Region. Abstract

The pandemic period led to changes in learning methods. One of the learning methods that are effective now is the direct learning method (Synchronous Learning) and the indirect method (Unsynchronous Learning). Perambanan Social Vocational High School 1 has developed the learning system but has yet to maximize learning media development. Therefore, there is a need for training and workshops to increase teachers' knowledge to solve the problems encountered related to making learning media. The service is carried out through several stages: identifying activities, planning and implementing activities, follow-up and evaluation, and preparing reports. The results of the service show that participants not only have the ability to develop learning media but also have a deeper understanding of the benefits of technology in learning. The teachers involved are expected to strengthen their abilities in developing creative and relevant learning content according to the needs of students. This effort can potentially improve the quality of learning, expand accessibility for students to learn flexibly, and present a more interactive and exciting learning experience.

Abstract

The increase in the unemployment rate in Bojong Pandan Village after the Covid-19 pandemic has threatened the stability of family food security. This condition threatens to make families in Bojong Pandan Village experience difficulties in meeting their basic needs through food. Budikdamber innovation is a solution to maintain family food security stability. However, the community still needs to gain knowledge and skills regarding Budikdamber, so there is a need for synergy between the village government and universities through community service activities. This service aims to increase the participant's knowledge and skills regarding Budikdamber. Implementation methods to support the achievement of the goals of this service include surveys, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results obtained from this community service activity were an increase in the participants' knowledge of 47.47%, and all participants could practice the tutorial activities for making Budikdamber. Follow-up of this activity will be routine monitoring at least once a month and innovating variations on fish and plant species other than catfish and water spinach.

Abstract

This activity is carried out based on problems obtained in the field, namely the lack of marketing strategies through social media as well as the low economic income of the community from rabbit livestock products. This activity aims to provide knowledge and experience in promoting rabbit livestock products through social media to improve the community's economy. Activities are carried out in stages, starting from the planning stage through implementation and evaluation. The results of this assistance provide experience to the team, which can work together with the community, especially the farmers. It is beneficial for the farmers themselves to increase their knowledge and ability to promote their livestock through social media. Making farmers able to promote and increase the scope of the target market through social media Increase the creativity of farmers in promoting their livestock products. Furthermore, farmers can independently promote and market their livestock products in their respective cages so that they can increase the sales of livestock products optimally.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that prevention must be done earliest. Therefore, information about stunting must be given to adolescent girls to prepare them to become prospective mothers with good nutrition and health status. The purpose of the community service is to provide information, knowledge, and understanding to adolescent girls about stunting as one of the nutritional problems in Indonesia. Community service is carried out by counseling with lectures and discussion methods. The school highly appreciates the community service activity. Counseling can increase the knowledge of adolescent girls about stunting. The material about stunting can be understood by adolescent girls marked by appropriate answers to questions during the discussion. Teenage girls are expected to be able to implement behaviors that can improve their health to prevent stunting from an early stage and can disseminate information.

Abstract

The Assistance of candidate Teacher Mover is a forum for developing the competence of leader learning in driving the educational ecosystem, encouraging learning innovation, and strengthening teacher commitment and motivation. The workshop activity aims to identify and explore the potential of candidate teacher mover through Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Selong workshop activities. The devotional method is evaluation and collaboration between practical teacher and candidate teacher mover. The assistance results showed that the workshop activities at SMPN 1 Selong effectively explored the potential of teacher mover. During these activities, the candidate teacher mover is challenged to work in groups, lead discussions, and manage projects individually so that this activity develops leadership skills, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. In addition, through these workshop activities, students also better-understood education and the role of a teacher. They can observe how teachers facilitate the learning process, face a problem in teaching, and interact with students. Through this activity, the candidate teacher mover can develop leadership skills and practical knowledge needed in the teacher profession. Hopefully, this approach can be widely applied in other schools to support improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Pelvic floor exercise in the elderly plays a crucial role as a simple intervention that can be independently performed at home, aiming to address the issue of increased urinary frequency due to the decline in musculoskeletal and urinary physiological functions caused by the weakening of the sphincter muscles. In this effort, the activity aims to raise awareness about the importance of pelvic floor muscle exercises to reduce urinary frequency and the risk of urinary incontinence in the elderly. The implementation of this activity focuses on the area of the Healthy Elderly Integrated Service Post (Posyandu Lansia Sehat), with the goal of directly involving the elderly in maintaining their health quality. Community service projects employ a participatory approach through lectures, debates, demonstrations, and direct re-demonstrations to expand older people's understanding of pelvic floor exercises. One method for analyzing and assessing the degree of knowledge among older people is questionnaires. Conclusion community service activities carried out in the Jelidro community regarding pelvic floor exercise to reduce urinary frequency in older people can be understood by the percentage of 74% of questionnaire results. It can be done independently at home to maintain the physiological function of the pelvic muscle.

Abstract

The socialization of basketball game rules in junior high schools throughout Gorontalo City was carried out to overcome the main problem of the need for more understanding by students who are active in basketball extracurriculars regarding the latest rule changes. This service aims to convey the latest regulations to junior high school students in Gorontalo City, predominantly male and female students who are active in basketball extracurriculars. The socialization activity lasted for 7 days, from 4 to 10 January 2024, at SMPN 2 Gorontalo City, involving 50 junior high school students throughout Gorontalo City as respondents. Measuring students' understanding of the rules of the basketball game was carried out using a questionnaire, and the results of data analysis showed that 80% of students really understood, 16% understood, and 4% quite understood the rules of the game. Therefore, the participants have a good understanding of aspects such as how to play, the basics of the game, and the rules of the basketball game.

Abstract

The Civil Registry Service Office of Marabahan began to shift to the use of information technology to improve work efficiency due to access difficulties and time constraints experienced by the community in processing population documents that require physical presence at the service office. So, the Adobatola application was developed, which allows residents to process various population documents online based on mobile. This dedication activity aims to optimize the implementation of the Adobatola application. To achieve this goal, methods such as tutorials, independent practice, and discussions were employed as part of the socialization and training process for using the application. The results of this activity indicate that most of the training participants have acquired the ability and readiness to transition to the application, outnumbering those who are not yet prepared for the migration. The success of this activity is an essential indicator of the implementation of the Adobatola system at Disdukcapil Marabahan, promising efficiency and ease in the management of population documents. In conclusion, integrating information technology through the Adobatola application has successfully improved the population administration process in Marabahan while also opening opportunities for enhancing the quality of public services.

Abstract

Digital security plays a crucial role in today's digital era. As the responsible and safe use of the internet becomes increasingly important, encouraging digital security is essential, especially among children and families. By understanding and implementing digital security measures, every individual can reduce the negative impact of digital threats, create a safer and more secure online environment, and protect themselves in the virtual world. Digital safety education aims to provide students with education regarding digital security and tips for keeping personal and parental data secure. The target audience for this program is students at Texmaco Elementary School in grades V and VI. Evaluation of the Digital safety Education program can be measured using questionnaires and tests. Students' thoughts and experiences can be obtained through interviews or group discussions. The results show that the activity received a positive response. Some of the students understood digital safety and how to keep their data secure and controlled. Through digital safety education, it is hoped that students will be able to obtain comprehensive information to prevent themselves from virtual world crimes in the form of personal data hacking.

Abstract

Service activities are carried out based on the obstacles faced by a business actor, which reflects the inconsistency of business activities that have an impact on services that can be categorized as not good. This business activity has indications of poor management, and this is an essential need for business activities which cannot be separated from the importance of understanding financial management. To be precise, in this activity, business income or results that did not meet expectations were found. Through this activity, it is known that there are obstacles in financial management that affect workers' service to consumers and even the calculation of funding turnover or financing for the business. The aim and urgency of this service are to provide an understanding of the importance of commitment to financial recording so that it can become a benchmark and provide information on activities. Business the information in question is information that contains sustainable business activities. The stages of service implementation activities are divided into direct (face-to-face) and indirect (programmed arrival) implementation. The results of developing this simple recording concept are expected to provide new work patterns and new thinking for workers and business owners so that they can plan development activities that can be pursued.
