Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari fenomena masih digunakannya model pembelajaran konvensional yang berfokus pada guru, yang mengakibatkan siswa kurang aktif dan tidak terlatih dalam berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yang diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar mereka. Masalah utama yang akan dikaji adalah sejauh mana efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III-A SD Negeri Percobaan Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III-A di sekolah tersebut, dengan dasar teori konstruktivisme. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental tipe one group pretest-posttest. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik Probability Sampling dengan pendekatan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, fokus pada kelas III-A. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes tulis sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah, berupa soal pilihan ganda untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest, dengan Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Selain itu, uji N-Gain Score menunjukkan rata-rata skor N-Gain sebesar 0,8006, yang mengindikasikan efektivitas tinggi dari model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa .Hasil penelitian ini mendukung efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah di konteks pendidikan dasar dan memberikan implikasi penting bagi praktik pengajaran. Disarankan agar model ini diimplementasikan lebih luas dan diaplikasikan pada berbagai mata pelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of digital comic-based learning on the reading interest of fourth-grade students. Utilizing a quantitative method and experimental design, the researcher divided the subjects into two groups: an experimental group using digital comics and a control group using traditional learning methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure changes in reading interest. The results indicate that the use of digital comics significantly enhances students' reading interest. The average pre-test score was 54.57, which increased to 74.35 after the implementation of digital comics. Statistical tests showed a p-value < 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between the independent variable (digital comic-based learning) and the dependent variable (reading interest). Discussion of the results reveals that digital comics can make the learning process more engaging and interactive, thereby increasing students' motivation and reading skills. Therefore, it is recommended to consider integrating digital comics into the Indonesian language curriculum to enhance students' reading interest and literacy

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the articulation learning model on the speaking skills of class IV students at SDN 101831 Bintang Meriah. The population in this study was all class IV students at SDN 101831 Bintang Meriah, totaling 40 people and divided into 2 classes, namely class IV-A and class IV-B, the entire population was also used as the research sample. This research is a type of Quasi-experimental research with a Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used is an oral action test instrument using speaking based on visual and sound stimuli. The data analysis technique in this research uses the t-test. The results of calculating data on students' speaking skills obtained t_count 11.72 > t_table 2.024, with a significance level of α 0.05. So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that with the application of the articulation learning model, the speaking skills of fourth grade students at SDN 101831 Bintang Meriah are higher than those of fourth grade students who are taught using the lecture learning model. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the articulation learning model on the speaking skills of class IV students at SDN 101831 Bintang Meriah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of providing rewards and punishment on the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 023972, Binjai City District, FY 2023/2024. The population of this study was all 40 class V students. The sample used in this research is saturated sampling, in this case the researcher takes all members of the population to be used as samples. In this research, researchers used experimental research using the Quasi Experimental Design method, where the research cannot provide full control, using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results of this research show that There is an influence of giving rewards and punishments on student learning outcomes in science and science subjects for class V students at SDN 023972 Binjai City Region FY 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and interpret the mathematical elements found in the architecture of Sipamutung Temple in Siparau village. The background of this problem focuses on the importance of understanding the relationship between culture and mathematics, especially in the context of local cultural heritage. The method used in this research is ethnography with a descriptive approach, which includes observation, documentation, and literature exploration. The results showed that the floor plan of Sipamutung Temple was designed with various complexities that reflect the level of mathematical development of the local community. The research uncovered the concept of flat shapes such as square, rectangle and trapezoid in the temple structure, as well as the application of geometry principles in its design. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of appreciating the sociocultural relevance of mathematics and practices in local cultures, as well as the need for efforts to preserve existing cultural heritage. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide the community with a better understanding of the mathematical concepts contained in Sipamutung Temple and increase awareness of the cultural values that exist around it

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan modul produk berupa modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi; (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi pada siswa sekolah dasar; (3) mendeskripsikan efektifitas modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian ini adalah research and development menurut Borg & Gall (1983) dengan 10 tahapan, diantaranya: research and information collecting; planning; develop preliminary form of product; preliminary field testing; main product revision; main field testing; operational product revision; operational field testing; final product revision; dan dissemination & implementation. Subjek uji coba skala terbatas dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas 1B SD ARB, subjek uji coba skala luas adalah kelas 1A dan 1C SD ARB. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif berupa kuasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) menghasilkan produk berupa modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara. Adapun modul matematika ini memiliki karakteristik self intruction, self contained, berdiri sendiri,  adaptif, bersahabat, dan kekhasan metode sariswara; (2) hasil validasi produk memperoleh penilaian dari ahli materi rerata 86% termasuk dalam kriteria layak dan dari ahli desain rerata 89% termasuk dalam kriteria layak; (3) hasil uji efektifitas pada coba terbatas memperoleh n-gain score 56% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif dan uji coba luas menunjukkan jika pada kelompok eksperimen mempunyai nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education subjects. This is evidenced by the fact that student learning outcomes have not met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) applied by the school with a score of 70. Out of 22 students, 5 students met the KKM and 17 students did not meet the KKM. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model with four steps: 1) Planning, 2) Action, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The subjects of this study were 22 fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Pahandut. The data collection techniques used were Tests (Initial Test and Final Test) and Observations, which were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data. The results of this study indicate that application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model can enhance student activity and learning outcomes. This evident from the observation results of student learning activities at the end of cycle I and cycle II. Additionally, student learning outcomes in each cycle showed an increase from the pre-test, which obtained a completeness percentage of 27.2% with average score of 55. After implementing actions in cycle I, student learning outcomes with a percentage of 63.6%. However, further improvements were necessary as it was not yet optimal, and subsequent actions in cycle II resulted in an average score of 81.8 with a completeness percentage reaching 86.4%. Thus, the completeness of student learning outcomes from the pre-test to cycle II experienced a 59.2% increase.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS materi Kenampakan Alam dikelas IV SD N 1 Pahandut hasil belajar peserta didik dalam kategori rendah dikarena peserta didik tidak fokus dan tidak menyimak penjelasan guru, hal tersebut membuat peserta didik memperoleh nilai evaluasi dibawah KKM. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik  kelas IV SD N 1 Pahandut dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Assemblr Edu dan metode diskusi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan (1)perencanaan, (2)tindakan, (3)pengamatan, (4)refleksi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD N 1 Pahandut yang berjumlah 32 orang, terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan tes yang dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh presentase ketuntasan peserta didik pada pra tindakan 34% dengan rata-rata 57 setelah dilaksanakan siklus I hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 68,7% dengan rata-rata 83,7 terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 34,7%. Setelah itu mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dimana presentase ketuntasan mencapai 93,75% dengan rata-rata 88 yang meningkat dari siklus I dengan selisih 25%. Hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Assemblr Edu dan Metode Diskusi pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi "Kenampakan Alam diIndonesia".

Abstract

This research is based on the low communication skills of students in Indonesian learning, especially in the material "Unique and Interesting Events". This research aims to improve the communication skills of grade V (five) students of SD Negeri 3 Pahandut through the use of PAPIN (Smart Board) media in Indonesian learning material "Unique and Interesting Events". The background of this research is the low communication skills of students, both verbally and in writing, as well as the lack of use of varied and interesting learning media. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) with the Kemmis and McTaggart models which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects in this study were 22 students of class V (five) of SD Negeri 3 Pahandut. The data collection technique uses observation, tests, and documentation, which are analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of this study show that the use of PAPIN media can improve students' communication skills. The average score of students' communication skills increased from 49.18 in pre-action, to 58 in cycle I, and reached 76.6 in cycle II. In addition, students' learning activities also increased from the category of being quite active in cycle I to being very active in cycle II. This improvement shows that PAPIN media is effective in creating an active, fun learning atmosphere, opinions, and orally. Thus, the use of PAPIN media can be used as an alternative learning strategy to improve the skills of students in elementary school, especially in Indonesian lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creative thinking abilities of fifth-grade students at SDN 10 Langkai during the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on the theme of Sustainable Lifestyle. The study was motivated by a learning approach that gives students the freedom to create their own projects without predetermined models from the teacher. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving three students, using observation, interviews, and product assessments based on four creative thinking indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The findings indicate that students demonstrated creative thinking skills categorized as "creative" with an average indicator score of 66,66. The creative products developed by the students received a score of 73,33 from external observers and 83,33 from the teacher. The study concludes that the P5 project activities are generally effective in developing students creative thinking abilities, although further guidance is still needed to strengthen all aspects of creativity.
