Abstract

Land is a important factor in human life. In human life, most of his life is very dependent on land. On land, humnas can live and build livable buildings. The existence of official residence land and buildings whose property rights are under the Malang City Government and the Ministry of Finance is a problem because the  land and houses that will be built by a Government service office are still occupiet by several heirs of employees of the Malang City State Treasury Service Office who have retired. This study aims examine the dynamics of social conflict relate to Agrarian Affairs by the Community and the Government, the second is to find out how the community forms resistance to the government in defending land and building houses. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The theory used is conflict theory. The results showed that the roots of land and house building conflicts were the lack of justice for the heirs of retired employees of the Malang City State treasury Service Office who had devoted themselves to the state for decades, as well as the absence of continue to occupy the land and building of the house, giving rise to a reaction from the Government to immediately vacate it.

Abstract

Buildings that support office activity need to be well maintained. Without the maintenance, the building's structure function will suffer a decline over time. This study aims to identify the maintenance management activities of the building, the building maintenance schedule and the obstacles also the solutions in the maintenance of the office building at PT AST. It uses a qualitative descriptive approach by describe and analyze the problems found. Qualitative research is based on primary and secondary data. Primary data in the study are obtained by observation, interview, and documentation, while secondary data are obtained through books, previous studies, and research related articles. According to the study, PT AST has been regularly and frequently maintained the building, but the maintenance activities have not been optimal. This can be seen from the difficult access of office repository and some office machines scheduled for delay in maintenance. It would be better if PT AST was able to provide some items replacement to anticipate the damage and also work with third party procurement to perform repairs on a damaged items or chamber if needed.

Abstract

Companies must be able to create encouraging conditions and enable the development and improvements of existing abilities and skills to be done optimally. One way a company can accomplish this is by compensating all its employees. Compensation is everything that is given to employees as a settlement on their job. With good compensation, forms of payment, benefits, and incentives can motivate employees to increase their productivity at work and be done optimally. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that is to describe and analyze the problems found. Qualitative research is based on primary and secondary data. Primary data in this study is obtained by direct and indirect observation such as pre-research, interviews, and documentation, while secondary data is obtained through research-related books, previous studies, and articles. The purpose of this study is to know and explain the system of compensation used in PT XYZ includes direct compensation application and indirect compensation application. The results of this study may be known that PT XYZ has provided both immediate and indirect compensation and has applied indirect compensation, but it has not been given in time and employees have not received both direct and indirect compensation. That can be proved by interviews and research done.

Abstract

Women's empowerment is an important focus for the world as stated in SDGs point 5 on gender equality which is key in achieving sustainable development and community welfare. PKK (Empowering Family Welfare) as a forum for empowering women or housewives is the main subject in research on training activities for caring for the dead. The targets of this research are PKK women in Punggul Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the experiences and perspectives of PKK Village Ibu Punggul, Ibu 'Modin', and the Community Service Team of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in the case of handling corpses. Data collection in this study was through direct observation and field observation during the implementation of the simulation of caring for the corpse. Then, the research results are presented based on descriptive data analysis. The service activity of caring for the corpse began with a theoretical presentation led by the community service team and continued with a simulation led by the 'Modin' together with PKK women. Different views began to emerge at the opening of the discussion session, starting from the use of types of soap, toiletries, prayer leaders, and women's participation in caring for the corpse. This training has a positive impact, both in terms of preserving cultural values and strengthening social cohesion.

Abstract

Women are often seen as inferior to males in the community. Their occupations are limited to domestic duties such as caring for the family and making sure that everyday necessities are met. Despite their undervalued values, women continue to play a critical role in guaranteeing the welfare of the community, the well-being of the family, and the healthy development of the children. Nowadays, many women are joining the workforce, taking on leadership positions and taking part in a variety of community activities. This demonstrates the importance of women as contributors to society and the need to develop women's potential. Therefore, the study's goal is to investigate factors facilitating women's spiritual empowerment for treating female corpses. The study is focused on women empowerment at Desa Punggul by adopting qualitative method. The data are collected through participant direct observation and facilitating team's documentation, which are collected during community service program. The collected data are analyzed by using thematic analysis method. The study finds that women spiritual empowerment at Desa Punggul are enabled by two main factors. The first factor is the contribution of women organization (PKK). The women's organization promotes women's development in three areas: cognition (improving women's skills and knowledge, learning, or participating in decision-making, collaborating, and organizing community events), affection (boosting women's self-efficacy, self-worth, and strengthening women's mentality), and social (expanding social roles, establishing wider social relationships, and gaining support from their peers). The second component is the encouragement of a welcoming, cooperative, tolerant, engaging, and inclusive environment or community.

Abstract

The marriage registration process is one of the important stages in validating a marriage legally. This process often requires complex efforts, takes time and costs significant money, especially for couples who come from areas far from population administration offices or religious courts. To overcome this challenge, the Pasuruan City Government has introduced an innovative Double Road service. This service allows couples to register their marriage as well as change their marital status on their Family Card and Electronic KTP documents. This second road innovation has the impact of improving population administration services regarding changes in marital status on Family Cards and Electronic KTPs. This research aims to describe the problems that arise in the Innovation program and the efforts made to overcome the problems that arise in the Dual Road Innovation program in Pasuruan City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with primary and secondary data sources. Primary data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation related to Jalan Berdua innovation. Secondary data is in the form of documents related to research. Data collection techniques involve observation, open interviews, and documentation. This research will provide an overview of the problems faced in implementing the Double Road Innovation in Pasuruan City and the efforts that have been made to overcome them. The results of this research are: Overall, the Jalan Berdua program in Pasuruan City is a successful example of how innovation in population administration services can improve efficiency, accessibility, community satisfaction, inter-agency cooperation, and effective use of data.

Abstract

The Merdeka Learning Program at Kampus Merdeka is a flexible learning model in higher education designed to encourage innovative learning and adapt to student needs. One of them is an internship program at MSIB partner companies, which is an initiative of Kampus Merdeka to help students prepare for the world of work. PT Indekstat Konsultan Indonesia is one of the partners of this program, with the aim of improving the quality of soft skills and hard skills to be able to work culturally to meet the needs of the capabilities of researchers who are ready to work in the research and data science industry.  This research uses a qualitative case study approach, including interviews, observation, documentation, and review of relevant literature. The theory employed is George C. Edward III with signs of successful implementation, which are: (1) communication, (2) resources, (3) disposition, and (4) bureaucratic structure. The results showed that PT Indekstat Konsultan Indonesia has not implemented the MSIB Batch 5 program policy optimally.

Abstract

Quality Family Villages (Kampung KB) aim to improve the quality of Human Resources by emphasizing strengthening family and community institutions. In an effort to realize this goal, active community participation is needed in various existing activity groups (Poktan). Community participation in Poktan BKB, BKR, and BKL has reached 100%, while the other two Poktan, namely PIK-R, amounted to 5.69% and UPPKA with the lowest percentage, only 2.88%. This research aims to determine community participation in the Quality Family Village activity group (Poktan) in Penarungan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The unit of analysis in this research was 14 informants consisting of the Head of Penarungan Village, Chair of the Penarungan Village KB Village Working Group, Penarungan Village KB Village Extension Officer, KB Village Poktan Cadre, and Community Members of the KB Village Poktan. Community participation in this research is assessed from participation during decision making, implementation, receiving benefits, and evaluation. The results of the research show that community participation in the Quality Family Village Poktan in Penarungan Village is still not optimal. At the implementation stage, community participation only took part in activities that were integrated with Poktan so that PIK-R and UPPKA Poktan had a low percentage of participation because integrated activities also had low participation. There are several obstacles that hinder community participation, such as low public awareness, minimal funding for Poktan, and limited data.

Abstract

This study seeks to assess how the brand image of Herborist body care products impacts consumers' purchasing choices. Brand image encompasses perceptions of product quality, safety, cleanliness, and effectiveness, all of which are significant factors influencing consumer preferences. Employing a quantitative approach, this study collected data through online questionnaires distributed via Google Form, with a sample size of 43 respondents. The findings of this research were demonstrated to be valid and reliable, meeting assumptions of normality and being free from heteroscedasticity and autocollinearity. A simple linear model Y = -0.733 + 0.852X + e was derived from the data, indicating that brand image (X) significantly affects purchasing decisions. To maintain or enhance purchasing decisions, companies must continually refine their marketing strategies to ensure effectiveness and yield positive outcomes in influencing consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between innovation capability, learning capability, and individual performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with well-being moderation, using the Case Study of "Freez Food Baby Porridge Sedat" product. A survey method was employed to collect data from 30 respondents comprising owners and employees of these SMEs. The analysis results indicate that innovation capability has a significant positive influence on individual performance through learning capability. Additionally, individual well-being moderates the relationship between innovation capability, learning capability, and individual performance. The practical implications of these findings underscore the importance for SMEs to develop innovation and learning capabilities as strategies to enhance individual performance, while considering well-being as a moderating variable. This study offers valuable insights for SME owners in designing human resource development programs focused on improving individual performance through investments in innovation and learning.
