Abstract

The Sukinah family is shown with harmonious, happy and peaceful family members. Respecting family members and other people is the simplest and most basic thing that can be done to start the journey to achieving a successful family. Another thing that family members can do to create a happy family is to maintain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance as well as good communication relationships between family members. As facilitators of effective communication in relationships with children, parents can play various roles together. The absence of effective communication in the family can trigger many things, including spamming of children and teenagers, suicide, divorce, or leaving the home. To maximize effective communication in order to reach the Sukinah family within the family, counseling is held regarding effective family communication. Participants are reminded that being a good listener is one way to reach the Sukinah family. The activity was carried out in Kukuh Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency, with the activity participants being women in the village. The number of participants was 40 people who were representatives of each banjar in Kukuh Village. The method of carrying out activities is classic, where participants and resource persons meet in the same place to listen and discuss. The activity began with giving a pre-test, then continued with the presentation of material by the resource person as well as discussions and questions and answers. The activity ends with completing the post test. The results of the post-test analysis showed that as many as 98.3% of the activity participants were able to answer the post-test questions correctly, this shows that the participants were able to understand the material presented.

Abstract

Domestic violence is a common problem that affects individuals of different ages, social backgrounds, and economic circumstances. This includes a wide range of economic, sexual, emotional, and physical violent behaviors that occur in close relationships, such as marriage or family connections. This counseling activity will be carried out in Tista Village, Tabanan Regency in May 2023. Domestic violence counseling seeks to increase understanding of the psychological impact of domestic violence on people, especially victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, as well as society. The purpose of this outreach is to educate the public, especially victims, about the psychological impact of domestic violence, such as anxiety, grief, PTSD, and other psychological problems. In addition, the public is taught about the need to prevent domestic violence and specific prevention methods to reduce its impact. This outreach initiative seeks to help educate the perpetrators of domestic violence to be able to modify their behavior by explaining the negative psychological implications of their actions. The results of the final observations show that there are still many opportunities for similar activities that are necessary and important to be carried out to reduce the number and impact of domestic violence.

Abstract

Dharmagita is a sacred song that serves to spread the teachings of the Vedas. The Vedic teachings were received by the Maharsis through sacred words. Maharsi then implemented the teachings of dharma to the people through the Gita. Vedic teachings consist of verses and are conveyed by singing them. Dharmagita turns out to be a very effective method for implementing Hindu teachings, especially among the younger generation. Therefore, it is very important to improve the ability of dharmagita among the younger generation. Abstract

Abstract

Bengkel Village is one of the villages in Tabanan Regency, Bali Province, where 80% of the population are farmers with a rice field area of 225 Ha out of a total area of 291 Ha. This village has the largest subak land in Kediri District, so Bengkel Village is special because of the natural potential. The high potential possessed by Bengkel Village can be developed and preserved through training of several groups who have an important role in implementing and passing on the existing potential. The challenges faced are the vulnerability to cultural erosion due to technological advances, rapid population growth, changes in lifestyle, and increased production of consumer goods which results in drastic changes in the volume of waste produced. The methods used in this activity include activities related to education such as socialization and practice of sorting waste for elementary school children as well as out-of-class education, namely providing Balinese dance practice activities in banjar halls, training in the form of religious and cultural training in the form of mejejaitan and making klakat, as well as activities The direct approach is in the form of planting tree seedlings, following rivers, taking an active part in sorting waste and distributing compost at TPS3R, the Waste Bank, as well as providing rubbish bins at Balai Banjar. Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is not only bearing the burden of Communicable Diseases (PM) but also the burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM). One of the strategies in the guidelines for non-communicable diseases management by the Prevention and Control Directorate of Non-Communicable Diseases of the Republic of Indonesia Health Ministry in 2019 is to carry out promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative and palliative actions as a whole , one of which is with the CERDIK principle. CERDIK behavior is a necessary behavior to prevent various kinds of non-communicable diseases. The behavior in question is regular health checks, getting rid of cigarette smoke, diligent physical activity/exercise, and a healthy and balanced diet. Therefore, Lecturers in the Yoga and Health Study Program at I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar State Hindu University carried out community service activities by providing CERDIK behavior education with the target of activities for students at the Bali Kresna Medika Health Vocational High School (SMK). the number of participants were 32 people. The implementation method for this activity was to provide CERDIK material, yoga exercises, and physical measurements which were carried out in 5 meetings. In general, the implementation of activities ran smoothly. The success of the activity is was measured by a questionnaire. The results showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge regarding CERDIK, namely from the category of knowledge that was quite good to very good. In the future, it is hoped that this activity can be carried out with broader targets and scope.
