Abstract

Communication Science Study Program of UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar in 2022 was given the task of carrying out community service (PKM) based on study programs as a fulfillment of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi mandatory PKM activities during this period were carried out in synergy with PHDI Badung Regency as a Hindu religious institution which is also tasked with providing information related to Hinduism and mediating institutions for Hindus. The problems found from the analysis of the PHDI situation in Badung Regency lead to the availability of a traceable archive documents of Hindus developement program that can be used to improve the PHDI of Badung Regency service programs in the future and as a guideline that can be used by Hindus, especially in Badung Regency for implementation of religious life. Therefore, assistance was carried out in compiling the compilation documents of the Hindus development program in Badung Regency by a mentoring team from the members of the PKM Communication Studies Study Program at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. The mentoring process is divided into two main stages, namely assistance in the management of important institutional documents and the preparation of compilation documents of the Hindus development program in Badung Regency. The data triangulation method was used during the PKM activity which included material presentation, discussion, observation of potential participants, group division, document research, document preparation, revision and editing to produce output in the form of printed book entitled "Compilation of Hindus Development Program PHDI of Badung Regency"

Abstract

The implementation of the Community Service Program (PkM) at SD Saraswati 4 Denpasar in Renon Village which involved 20 teachers from class I to class VI at SD Saraswati 4 Denpasar aims to improve the quality of education in terms of optimizing online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. All of these activities has implemented through training and simulations, methods in the form of training and assistance on the use of media in the distance learning process / in the network (online). After carrying out the training, an online media application simulation assistance was carried out in learning practice. The results of this activity indicate that partner teachers have been able to use online media in distance learning. These teachers have been able to apply online learning media such as Whatsapp (WA), Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Zoom. The teacher showed an enthusiastic attitude in receiving the material in this program. This can be observed through several indicators such as; the level of attendance during the activity, enthusiasm in participating in learning, attitude in practicing, asking questions related to the material that has been submitted and responding to questions asked properly. The results of the learning evaluation show that partner teachers who previously could not use online media in learning have been able to apply online learning media such as Whatsapp (WA), Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Zoom. Abstract

Hinduism is a religion that is full of holidays or ceremonies. Its implementation also often uses offerings or what can be called offerings. Banten can also be interpreted as a guardian. The word wali means representative. Banten in a ceremony is used as a representative to relate to the worshiped or glorified. In addition, the word wali means return. This understanding indicates that offerings are meant to be offered again, which in the beginning all of the offerings came from or were sourced from the creations of Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. The purpose of this re-offering is to create a balance between God / Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa who has created, and humans as His creatures who receive and enjoy the most, so that they can be sustainable throughout time. Especially in the Tegaltamu Traditional Village, in carrying out the yadnya ceremony using banten so far it has only followed the existing culture and traditions, so that what has become a tradition will be followed and done without knowing whether it is right or wrong. The problem is that in the Tegaltamu Traditional Village, along with the development of the demands of the times that limit time and increase the busyness of the community in terms of earning a living and activities outside the custom, of course they are not easy to carry out the tradition to the fullest, so it is necessary to prepare a basic guideline for community members that is adapted to the needs of the community. current developments, so that community members can adjust their yadnya according to their situation and condition and get certainty about the yadnya ceremony that has been carried out. For this reason, it is necessary to provide assistance in the preparation of the Purana offerings in the Tegaltamu Traditional Village by a team of companions who are members of community service for the Penerangan Agama Hindu Information Study Program I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. There are several stages of mentoring that are passed to produce a Purana Banten. Some of these stages are the assessment stage, socialization and material delivery, field surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, data sorting and the last is the compilation of the results of service activities. Data triangulation method was used during community service activities which included material exposure, discussion, observation, group sharing, data research, book preparation, revision and editing to produce output in the form of printing a book entitled “Purana Banten Pura Dalem Desa Adat Tegaltamu and Purana Banten Pura Desa Desa Adat Tegaltamu”.

Abstract

Education is very important for the progress of a nation. With education, a nation can produce quality human resources capable of improving the nation's future. Education must be made a priority along with the rapid progress of the times and technology in order to be able to compete internationally. The world of education has had a big impact during the Covid-19 pandemic. The teaching and learning process in schools affected by the pandemic cannot be carried out optimally due to limited access and interaction between educators and students. This prompted the Ministry of Education and Culture to initiate Kampus Mengajar Program which provides opportunities for students to assist teachers and principals at the elementary and junior high school levels in the 3T (Lagged, Outermost, and Frontier) areas in carrying out learning activities. One of the schools targeted by this program is SD N 28 Parlondut which is located in Parlondut Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra. The program is carried out for one semester by focusing on strengthening numeracy and literacy in the target school. Students will observe existing problems and will coordinate with educators in target schools to design ideas and improvements that need to be made. This program helps schools, teachers, and students in developing insight, skills and growing motivation to participate in the development of Indonesian education.

Abstract

This article reviews the process of improving learning in the Literacy, Numeration and Technology sections carried out at SDN 21 Bathin Solapan through the Campus Teaching Program Batch 3. The purpose of this program is because there are still many schools in Indonesia that face difficulties to overcome this, so The Ministry of Education and Culture created the Teaching Campus program which is part of the Merdeka Campus Program which was created for students to revive education in Indonesia. The improvement of learning carried out by the Teaching Campus students at SDN 21 Bathin Solapan is to create work programs that are able to arouse and also help the difficulties faced by students, and also to create learning programs in the field of technology that are able to increase their knowledge of technology, perform reading activities in the morning before starting the learning process to improve literacy skills and also create learning programs to hone numeracy skills. Other activities were also carried out to increase students' interest in learning at SDN 21 Bathin Solapan both in the field of science and in the extracurricular activities of the school. In addition to teaching and also doing activities with students, we also help with the school administration process, in order to alleviate and also correct errors in school administration and teachers. From the results of the activities that we have carried out through the Teaching Campus program, many changes have occurred to the students and the schools we are assigned to. Therefore, the Campus Teaching program is very useful to help alleviate and improve education in schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the programs from the Merdeka Campus is the Teaching Campus Program which is implemented and led directly by the Ministry of Education and Culture which aims to improve the quality of teaching in Indonesia in the field of literacy & numeracy, assisting technology and school administration and teachers. The schools that are the target locations of this Teaching Campus Program are schools that are still underdeveloped in the aspects of literacy & numeracy, technological adaptation, and administration, therefore students who participate in the Teaching Campus Program will be very helpful in the learning process in schools that still lagging behind in these 4 aspects, one of which is SDN 070977 Gunungsitoli. Students will be involved in being responsible for helping to improve 4 aspects (literacy, numeracy, technology & administration) in the target schools, but not only those 4 aspects that are a concern for Teaching Campus students, but also help in increasing student interest in learning while directing students Pancasila character which is also the responsibility of the Teaching Campus students. The results of student participation in the Teaching Campus program are students can better understand and cultivate empathy and are more sensitive to social problems or the surrounding community, develop insight, character and also soft skills possessed by students, add to a relationship, create experiences that are different from others. world of lectures, fostering student motivation to participate in improving the quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

The functions of coconuts are many. Besides for consumption purposes, coconut is also widely used as a means of ceremonies in Bali. Its use has increased in recent years so its availability also needs to be improved. Especially for upakara coconut is becoming increasingly rare nowadays because growing it is not easy. For example, a giant coconut, in addition to producing little fruit, also needs special care and a special place to grow it—likewise several other types of coconut. Thus, the Postgraduate Doctoral Program at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar took the initiative to carry out study-based service in the form of orientation and planting coconut species for ceremonies in Santi hamlet, Selat village, Selat sub-district, Karangasem. Descriptively this work tries to narrate the service activities along with several types of upakara coconut plants planted there. The community in Santi hamlet itself is very enthusiastic about planting these plants and directly getting the benefits.

Abstract

Occupational health is very much needed by stakeholders because of the prevalence of infectious diseases due to the spread of globalization. Stakeholders are very vulnerable to disease transmission because they are face to face and even come into contact with the community. In addition, stakeholders need an understanding of religious knowledge because in general stakeholders carry out professions because of heredity so that they need to be given guidance so that they have an understanding of the function, meaning of the profession and ritual ceremonies. Community service carried out by the health yoga study program aims to provide guidance and training to stakeholders in Denpasar City both from the social, religious and health aspects so that stakeholders can follow modernity standards, especially in the health sector without losing the sanctity and meaning of religious ceremonies or yadnya. The implementation methods for this activity are method I (presentation), method II (demonstration), method III (demonstrations and distribution of materials/tools) and method IV (demonstration). The results of the evaluation at the end of this activity, there was a significant increase in knowledge of the participants with the average posttest score above 90 points. In general, the implementation of this service was well received by the participants and went smoothly. Obstacles such as the schedule of activities that clash with holy holidays and the limited space for the implementation can be overcome through good cooperation from all parties. During the service, it was found that the enthusiasm of the participants to deepen the teachings of Hinduism and knowledge related to health was very high.

Abstract

This community service activity is carried out as a form of implementation of information system student practical work. Based on observations that have been made at SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu, in general students of SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu are familiar with computers, but knowledge in using Microsoft Word is still very minimal and there are still many students who do not understand the functions and uses of Microsoft Word itself. This happens because there is no computer extracurricular because of the lack of manpower and environmental conditions that do not allow. Through community service carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu, it aims to help teach students about running a computer, especially for learning the basics of Microsoft Word. This training is expected to make it easier for students to do word processing in Microsoft Word. The method used in an effort to achieve the targets or goals that have been planned is the training method. The results of the implementation of this activity were that almost all of the training participants understood the material that had been presented, with the results of a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire as much as 32% or 8 participants really understood the material provided during the training, 60% or 15 participants understood, and 8% or 2 participants lacked understand. Abstract

The sukinah family is indicated by good family health. An understanding of the reproductive health of all family members, especially adolescents and children, is one of the important things in creating a happy and prosperous family. This was the background for reproductive health counseling activities in Nyuhtebel Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. The participants of this activity were the representatives of each father in Nyuhtebel Village. It was hoped that the mothers participating in the activity would be able to provide early understanding to children about the dangers of free sex and the importance of maintaining reproductive health. The activity took place on July 18, 2022, at the Nyuhtebel Village Office with dr. I Made Purnama Adimerta, SpOG.subsp FER as the Informan. The result of this activity was that participants understand the impact of early sexual intercourse by children and adolescents and how to maintain the reproductive health of all family members, especially women.
