Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in students' understanding of worship through the use of ablution practice videos at SD IT Iman Syafi'i , Bima City. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data validity used triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of worship through the use of ablution practice videos at SD IT Iman Syafi'i , Bima City, that the increase in students' abilities in understanding and practicing ablution after participating in this activity showed that the combination of the use of audiovisual media, live demonstrations, and guided practice was an effective learning strategy for procedural fiqh material.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate in depth the use of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) technology in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to build learning motivation in class VIII students of Muhammadiyah Middle School Bima City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a field research type, which aims to describe and understand phenomena regularly based on real conditions in the field without testing certain hypotheses. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, including document analysis and field notes, then presented in the form of narrative description. The results of the study show that the use of Interactive flat panel (IFP) technology, in Islamic Religious Education learning, it is able to build students' learning motivation, which is characterized by increased attention, activity, and student interest during the learning process. Teachers utilize various interactive features such as visual displays, videos, and other digital media so that learning becomes more interesting and not monotonous. In addition, the use of IFP helps students understand the material more concretely and contextually. However, there are several obstacles such as limited teacher ability in operating technology and suboptimal supporting facilities. Thus, the use of IFP technology can be an innovative alternative in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education learning

Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of cellphone addiction and its implications for the religious discipline of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sape. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that cellphone dependence among students at SMA Negeri 1 Sape has a significant impact on discipline in worship. This phenomenon disrupts students' concentration and understanding of the material being presented, because excessive use of cellphones, especially for social media and digital games, distracts them from worship. However, there are several steps that can be taken to address this problem, such as limiting the use of mobile phones in the school environment, stricter supervision by teachers and parents, and providing guidance to students about the importance of wise and balanced mobile phone use.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of science literacy among elementary school students, particularly regarding the topic of light and its properties. Students are not sufficiently engaged in the learning process, resulting in incomplete mastery of the material. This study aims to determine the effect of a Problem-Based Learning model supplemented with a pop-up book and to assess improvements in science literacy between students who received this model and those who received the scientific inquiry approach. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of 72 fifth-grade students at SDN Sarimulya 3. The sample comprised 24 students from Class V-A as the experimental group and 24 students from Class V-C as the control group. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments and analyzed using the N-Gain test, simple linear regression, and the independent samples t-test. The results showed that the problem-based learning model aided by pop-up books had a significant effect on science literacy, with R = 0.753, R-squared = 0.567, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the science literacy of students in the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, with a post-test average of 83.33 and an N-Gain score of 0.59, while the control class had a post-test average of 76.88 and an N-Gain score of 0.42. Thus, the problem-based learning model aided by pop-up books is more effective in improving science literacy than the use of the scientific approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a syntax model of CREATIVE, meaningful learning in coastal community environments. This research is designed based on ADDIE development model. The population in this study were all junior high school students in coastal Cirebon. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interview, and questionnaire distribution. Researchers will process and analyze the data using descriptive statistical analysis.  Data analysis was carried out in three stages during this study, namely data analysis during preliminary studies (empirical studies and literature studies), then data analysis during the design model development process, and finally, data analysis as a process of producing model effectiveness test results. Based on the results of this study, a meaningful learning model based on the fishing environment can increase the creativity of Cirebon coastal junior high school students.  This model connects new knowledge with what students already know, making the material easier to understand and encouraging creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive teaching materials based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for response text learning in seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The study was motivated by students’ low ability in writing response texts, the limited use of interactive media in learning activities, and the predominance of conventional teaching materials that are less engaging. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which was limited to the stages of analysis, design, and development. The research subjects consisted of Indonesian language teachers and seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Pekanbaru in the 2025/2026 academic year who were involved in the needs analysis stage. The research instruments included interview guidelines, needs analysis questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The product developed was an interactive e-module based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) using digital media that can be accessed through smartphones and laptops. The results indicated that the developed teaching material achieved a highly valid category based on expert validation. Language expert validation obtained a score of 97.5% (highly valid), material expert validation obtained 97.5% (highly valid), media expert validation obtained 85% (valid), and technology-content expert validation obtained 80% (valid). Based on the combined validity calculation, the overall validity score reached 90%, indicating that the e-module is highly valid and suitable for use as a learning resource. Furthermore, the needs analysis revealed that students preferred interactive digital teaching materials with simple language, attractive visuals, project-based activities, and practical writing exercises. Therefore, it can be concluded that the interactive teaching material based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for response text learning was successfully developed according to students’ needs and is appropriate for use in Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade elementary school students, particularly their difficulty in grasping the content of texts, which is attributed to teaching methods that remain teacher-centered and the lack of innovative media. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by the Let's Read media on students' reading comprehension skills, and to compare the improvement in reading comprehension between students who received the CIRC model assisted by Let's Read and those who received the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The study population consisted of all fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Nagri Kaler, with a sample of 40 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. The results indicate that the implementation of the CIRC model supported by the Let's Read media has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension skills, with a contribution of 54.8% based on the coefficient of determination test. Thus, the CIRC learning model supported by the Let's Read media is effective in improving the reading comprehension skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren penelitian pengembangan pembelajaran IPA berbasis sains Islam pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengacu pada pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Sumber data berasal dari basis data Scopus dan Google Scholar dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2015–2025. Proses seleksi artikel dilakukan melalui tahap identification, screening, eligibility, dan included sehingga diperoleh 15 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan tren penelitian, model pengembangan, jenis produk, jenjang pendidikan sasaran, bentuk integrasi sains islam, serta kontribusinya terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian pengembangan pembelajaran IPA berbasis sains islam mengalami peningkatan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir dengan model pengembangan yang paling dominan digunakan yaitu Borg & Gall, 4D, dan ADDIE. Produk yang dihasilkan meliputi modul, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, ensiklopedia, majalah fisika, dan LKPD berbasis sains islam. Penelitian lebih banyak dilakukan pada jenjang SMP/MTs dan SMA/MA dibandingkan SD/MI. Bentuk integrasi sains Islam dilakukan melalui pengaitan konsep IPA dengan ayat Al-Qur’an, nilai tauhid, serta kontribusi ilmuwan muslim. Secara umum, pembelajaran IPA berbasis sains islam memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar, motivasi belajar, literasi sains, sikap spiritual, dan karakter religius peserta didik. Dengan demikian, integrasi sains islam dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat menjadi alternatif inovasi pembelajaran yang mampu mengintegrasikan aspek ilmiah dan spiritual secara seimbang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how early childhood literacy is used in word play activities at Fastabiqul Khairat Kindergarten, Bima City. This study employed a qualitative, descriptive methodology. The tools used included observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and interviews with teachers, as well as documentation studies involving children and teachers as research subjects. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that word play activities under pictures improve children's literacy skills, particularly in enhancing their comprehension, improving their understanding of language, and fostering their confidence in communication. Furthermore, the use of visual media in literacy activities can also increase children's interest in learning and engage them actively in the learning process. This study found that picture-based word play is a great way to help young children learn basic literacy in a fun and sustainable way.

Abstract

The deficient academic performance of fourth-level primary school pupils in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is frequently precipitated by traditional instruction and the utilization of unvarying the process of acquiring knowledge materials. This investigation intends to evaluate and verify the impact of executing interactive Powtoon resources integrated with PjBL on advancing the IPAS academic achievements of fourth-level learners. Employing a quantitative framework via a quasi-experimental approach, specifically utilizing a Posttest-Only Control Group Design, this inquiry embraced a sample pool of 56 schoolchildren gathered through cluster sampling. The intervention group (SDN 5 Dalung, n=28) utilized Powtoon software embedded within the PjBL framework, whereas the comparison group (SDN 2 Dalung, n=28) adhered to a customary instructional framework. Final assessment metrics were examined employing an Independent Samples T-Test subsequently to satisfy the essential preliminary criteria for normality and homogeneity. The outcomes of the hypothesis evaluation revealed a two-tailed significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), demonstrating a statistically meaningful disparity in competence. The incorporation of Powtoon as a visual instructional scaffold within the PjBL stages has demonstrated efficiency in making conceptual topics tangible, stimulating inquisitiveness, and amplifying the dynamic engagement of school children in alignment with constructivist tenets. Ultimately, the adoption of PjBL aligned Powtoon interactive multimedia exerts a substantial influence on elevating the science educational achievements of fourth-level learner.
