Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered learning while at the same time making teachers and students learn to carry out online learning. There are obstacles in the implementation of online learning such as the difficulty for teachers to engage active students and decreased student achievement. To overcome this, there is a need for learning innovation by implementing blended learning. The blended learning program is a learning model that combines face-to-face learning with online learning. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the blended learning program at SD N 1 Baturan and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing blended learning. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the evaluation show that the blended learning program at SD N 1 Baturan has been implemented well even though it has several obstacles and there are several supporting and inhibiting factors for the blended learning program. Supporting factors include the school environment, government, and teaching staff, while inhibiting factors include facilities and infrastructure, students' technological literacy, and face-to-face time limitations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dari literatur pada SPLDV. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan eksplorasi mengenai learning obstacle yang dialami oleh siswa SMP ketika mereka mencoba memahami konsep SPLDV. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kedepannya penguasaan konsep dasar SPLDV dapat tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain Didactical Design Research (DDR). Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes pemahaman konsep dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih menghadapi sejumlah kesulitan dalam memahami materi spldv. Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi siswa antara lain yaitu (1) kesulitan dalam merumuskan ulang konsep sistem persamaan linear dua variabel dan kurangnya kemampuan untuk memberikan contoh SPLDV. (2)Kesulitan dalam menentukan titik potong saat membuat grafik SPLDV. (3) Kekeliruan dalam melakukan operasi hitung dan mengembangkan model matematika. (4) Kesulitan dalam merancang langkah-langkah yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan soal SPLDV. (5) Kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berbeda dengan contoh soal yang diajarkan oleh guru. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya beberapa hambatan yang perlu diatasi dalam pembelajaran konsep SPLDV di tingkat SMP.   This research was motivated by the low ability of students to understand concepts from the literature on SPLDV. This research aims to explore the learning obstacles experienced by junior high school students when they try to understand the concept of SPLDV. Therefore, it is hoped that in the future mastery of the basic concepts of SPLDV can be achieved optimally. This research is qualitative research with a Didactical Design Research (DDR) design. The subjects in this research were 3 students selected based on purposive sampling. The research instruments used were concept understanding tests and interview guidelines. Data analysis in this research includes data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research results show that students still face several difficulties in understanding SPLDV material. The obstacles faced by students include (1) difficulties in reformulating the concept of a system of linear equations in two variables and a lack of ability to provide examples of SPLDV. (2) Difficulty in determining the intersection point when creating SPLDV graphs. (3) Errors in carrying out calculation operations and developing mathematical models. (4) Difficulty in designing the steps needed to solve SPLDV problems. (5) Difficulty in solving questions that are different from the example questions taught by the teacher. This shows that several obstacles that need to be overcome in learning SPLDV concepts at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Pada SDN Payaman, pembelajaran di kelas V masih terpusat pada guru, siswa kurang aktif, dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi Satuan Kecepatan dan Debit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini melihat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Payaman dengan diterapkannya media Roda Satuan dengan metode Problem Solving untuk membuat siswa lebih mudah memahami materi dan penyelesaian soal yang diberikan. Penelitian Tindakan ini dilakukan dalam 2 kali, dengan jumlah siswa kelas V sebanyak 34 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi untuk melihat aktivitas siswa dan metode tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan 24%. partisipasi siswa dari 64 % pada Tindakan I menjadi 80 % pada tindakan II, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 41,2%,  dari 44,1% pada tindakan I menjadi 85,3% pada Tindakan II. Adanya peningkaan yang terjadi menunjukkan penerapan Metode Problem Solving dengan Media Roda Satuan dapat digunakan guru untuk membuat situasi pembelajaran menjadi lebih antusias dan siswa lebih aktif dalam proses penyelesaian soal. Hasil belajar siswa juga telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan klasikal. At SDN Payaman, the learning activities in class V are still predominantly teacher-centered, with students being less active and facing difficulties in solving story problems related to the topics of Speed and Discharge Units. This study aimed to see an increase in activity and learning outcomes for fifth-grade students at SDN Payaman by implementing the Roda Unit media with the Problem-Solving method to make it easier for students to understand the material and solve the problems given. This class action research was carried out in 2 times, with 34 students in class V. The data collection method uses observation to see student activities and test methods. The results showed an increase of 24 %. Student participation from 64 % in action I to 80 % in action II increased student learning outcomes by 41.2 %, from 44.1% in action I to 85.3% in action II. The increase shows that the teacher can use the Problem Solving Method with Unit Wheel Media to make the learning situation more enthusiastic and students more active in problem-solving. Student learning outcomes have also fulfilled the classical completeness criteria.

Abstract

Cadangan premi harus diperhitungkan dengan baik untuk meminimalisir kerugian bagi perusahaan asuransi. Metode yang digunakan dalam menentukan cadangan premi dari asuransi jiwa berjangka pada penelitian ini adalah metode Fackler dan metode Full Preliminary Term. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan perhitungan cadangan premi dengan kedua metode pada asuransi jiwa berjangka. Sebelum diperhitungkannya nilai cadangan, terlebih dahulu akan ditentukan besarnya nilai premi tunggal, anuitas awal, dan premi tahunan dari asuransi jiwa berjangka. Asumsi yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi tertanggung seorang laki-laki dan perempuan berusia 30 tahun, jangka pertanggungan 30 tahun, suku bunga sebesar 5,75%, dan santunan yang akan diberikan oleh perusahaan asuransi kepada tertanggung adalah sebesar Rp. 200.000.000. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dengan didasarkan pada Tabel Mortalita Indonesia (TMI) 2019 diketahui bahwa nilai cadangan Fackler dan cadangan Full Preliminary Term pada produk asuransi jiwa berjangka n-tahun memberikan nilai yang tidak sama. Diperoleh bahwa cadangan Fackler memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan cadangan Full Preliminary Term. Cadangan Fackler untuk tertanggung laki-laki pada tahun pertama sebesar Rp.369.635 sedangkan cadangan Full Preliminary Term sebesar Rp.0. Sedangkan untuk peserta perempuan, cadangan Fackler diperoleh Rp. 226.182 dan untuk cadangan Full Preliminary Term diperoleh Rp.0. Hal ini dikarenakan pada cadangan Full Preliminary Term memperhitungkan biaya operasional dari perusahaan asuransi seperti biaya administrasi, komisi agen, dan biaya-biaya lain yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan asuransi. Sedangkan pada cadangan Fackler tidak memperhitungkan sejumlah biaya seperti yang disebutkan pada cadangan Full Preliminary Term. Premium reserves must be calculated correctly in order to minimise losses for the insurance business. The Fackler method and the Full Preliminary Term approach were used in this study to calculate premium reserves for term life insurance. The aim of this research is to compare the approaches for calculating premium reserves for term life insurance. Before determining the reserve value, the single premium, initial annuity, and yearly premium of term life insurance will be established. The research assumptions include that the insured is a man and a woman aged 30 years, that the insurance duration is 30 years, that the interest rate is 5.75%, and that the insurance firm will pay the insured IDR. 200,000,000. According to the results, based on the 2019 Indonesian Mortality Table (TMI), the value of Fackler reserves and Full Preliminary Term reserves in n-year term life insurance contracts provide distinct values. It is discovered that Fackler reserves are more valuable than Full Preliminary Term reserves. The Fackler reserve for male insureds in the first year is IDR 369,635 while the Full Preliminary Term reserve is IDR 0. Meanwhile, Fackler's reserve for female participants was IDR. 226,182, and the Full Preliminary Term reserve was Rp. 0. This is because the Full Preliminary Term reserve accounts for the insurance company's operations expenditures, such as administration fees, agent commissions, and other expenses. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yakni untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah kontekstual program linear menurut Teori Newman ditinjau berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini termasuk kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini 21 siswa perempuan dan 10 siswa laki-laki kelas XI IPA MA Mambaul Ulum. Pengumpulan data melalui tes satu masalah dan wawancara terstruktur. Validasi instrumen dilaksanakan kepada dosen ahli. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data menerapkan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan siswa perempuan berada pada kategori cukup sedangkan siswa laki-laki berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Kesalahan paling tinggi siswa perempuan pada kesalahan perhitungan dan penulisan jawaban, sedangkan siswa laki-laki paling tinggi pada kesalahan transformasi. Siswa laki-laki melakukan kesalahan pada semua indikator. Tidak ada siswa perempuan dengan kesalahan membaca. Guru dapat membiasakan permasalahan matematika kontekstual kepada siswa agar terbiasa dan meminimalisir kesalahan. Penelitian terbatas pada analisis kesalahan siswa, untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan strategi untuk meminimalisir kesalahan siswa. The aim of this research is to describe students’ errors in solving linear programmes contextual problems according to Newman's Theory based on gender. This research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were 21 female students and 10 male students of class XI IPA MA Mambaul Ulum. Data were collected through one problem test and structured interview. Instrument validation was carried out to expert lecturers. Steps in data analysis are data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing, while data validity test applied triangulation technique. The results showed that the average percentage of female students' errors was a moderate category, while male students were classified as very high. The highest error of female students in calculation errors and answer writing, while male students are highest in transformation errors. Male students made errors in all indicators. There were no female students with reading errors. Teachers can familiarise contextual mathematics problems to students to get used to and minimise errors. The research is limited to analysing student errors, for further research, strategies can be carried out to minimize student errors.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung dan hubungan tidak langsung dari variabel distress terhadap sikap mahasiswa non sains pada matakuliah statistika ketika academic help seeking menjadi mediator. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan survey design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa IAIN Kediri Prodi Psikologi Islam yang sedang menempuh matakuliah Statistika. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumentasi skala dan metode penskalaan berbentuk Likert summated rating. Analisa data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbantuan software SmartPLS. Berdasarkan output SmartPLS menunjukkan bahwa distress berhubungan negatif dengan sikap mahasiswa non-sains terhadap matakuliah statistika. Hal ini terjadi lantaran teridentifikasinya variabel academic help-seeking sebagai self-regulation atau mekanisme adaptif yang ditunjukkan oleh subyek penelitian ketika mengalami distress saat mempelajari matakuliah statistika. Tingginya academic help-seeking menjadi mediator sehingga didapatkan mekanisme pembentukan sikap yang positif terhadap matakuliah statistika. The aim of this research is to determine the direct and indirect relationship of the distress variable to the attitudes of non-science students in statistics when academic help seeking is the mediator. This research is quantitative research with survey design. The sample used was IAIN Kediri Islamic Psychology Study Program studentswho taking the Statistics course. The data collection technique uses scale instrumentation and a scaling method in the form of a likert summated rating. Data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling assisted by SmartPLS software. Based on the SmartPLS output, it shows that distress is negatively related to non-science students’ attitudes towards statistics course. This happened because the academic help seeking variabel was identified as a self-regulation or adaptive mechanism demonstrated by research subjects when experiencing distress while studying statistics courses. The high level of academic help seeking becomes a mediator so thaht a mechanism for forming a positive attitude towards statistics courses is obtained.

Abstract

Kalkulus integral merupakan salah satu mata kuliah matematika yang memerlukan penalaran, kemampuan komunikasi serta kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam menyelesaikannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penalaran visual mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah integral. Subjek penelitian 3 mahasiswa S1 Prodi Studi Tadris Matematika UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesumpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan penalaran mahasiswa laki-laki dan Perempuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah integral. Mahasiswa Laki-laki lebih mampu memenuhi proses penalaran yaitu representasi visual, visualisasi, dan transisi ke berpikir matematis. Integral calculus is a mathematics course that requires reasoning, communication skills and high-level thinking skills to complete it. The objective of this research is to describe students' visual reasoning in solving integral problems. The research subjects were 3 undergraduate students from the Tadris Mathematics Program at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Data collection techniques used tests, think-aloud, and interviews. Data analysis used reducing data, presenting data, and concluding. The research results showed that there are differences in the reasoning of male and female students in solving integral problems. Male students are better able to fulfill the reasoning process, such as visual representation, visualization, and transition to mathematical thinking.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam masyarakat. Melalui pendidikan, individu memiliki kesempatan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan nilai-nilai yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan. Ilmu pengetahuan alam adalah cabang ilmu yang membahas tentang pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan alam dan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi di dalamnya. Prodi Tadris Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam merupakan prodi tergolong baru, dimana SK berdirinya pada Tahun 2020. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan memprediksi jumlah mahasiswa Tadris IPA IAIN Kediri. Hasil persamaan logistik  yang merupakan bentuk dari Persamaan Bernoulli menunjukkan kenaikan jumlah mahasiswa baru setiap tahunnya. Pada tahun 2020 , 2021, 2022, dan 2023 menunjukkan jumlah mahasiswa baru sebanyak 23, 48, 54, dan 62 mahasiswa. Seiring berkembangnya tahun, berkembang pula jumlah mahasiswa baru. Dengan perkembengan jumlah mahasiswa tentunya kebijakan institusi tentang layanan akademik, sarana prasarana dan lainnya juga dipenuhui dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa. Hal ini juga nantinya akan mendukung dalam visi keilmua prodi, yang targetnya di tahun 2030 nanti akan menjadi prodi yang unggul dalam pengembangan Pendidikan SAINS berbasis teknologi informasi dan pencetak tenaga pendidik IPA yang berkarakter islami pada tahun 2030. Education has a very important role in society. Through education, individuals have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to face life's challenges. Natural science is a branch of science that discusses knowledge related to nature and the phenomena that occur in it. The Natural Sciences Education Study Program is a relatively new study program, where the Decree was established in 2020. Therefore, researchers conducted research by predicting the number of Natural Sciences Education students at IAIN Kediri. The results of the logistic equation which is a form of the Bernoulli equation show an increase in the number of new students every year. In 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, the number of new students is 23, 48, 54, and 62. As the years progress, the number of new students also grows. With the increase in the number of students, of course institutional policies regarding academic services, infrastructure and other things are also well met according to student needs. This will also support the scientific vision of the study program, whose target is that in 2030 it will become a superior study program in developing information technology-based SCIENCE education and producing science educators with Islamic character by 2030.

Abstract

Kecakapan matematis merupakan salah satu acuan dalam kesuksesan belajar matematika. Salah satu komponen kecakapan matematis adalah Pemahaman Konseptual Matematis, dengan 6 indikator pemahaman konsep. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 44 mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika angkatan pertama IAIN Ponorogo Tahun Akademik 2022-2023. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa pada materi logika ditinjau dari hasil assessment diagnostic berupa asal jurusan pada jenjang pendidikan sebelumnya. Data diperoleh dari nilai hasil UTS mata kuliah Pengantar Dasar Matematika dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Ponorogo pada materi logika masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rerata persentase pada masing-masing asal jurusan masih berada di bawah 70%. Adapun rincian rerata persentase pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa dari asal jurusan IPA sebesar 52,3%, mahasiswa dari asal jurusan IPS 43,3%, serta mahasiswa dari asal jurusan Agama dan kejuruan masing-masing 33,3%. Ditinjau dari indikator pemahaman konseptual matematis, kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan mahasiswa adalah pada indikator keenam yaitu mengembangkan syarat perlu atau cukup dari suatu konsep yaitu hanya 2 dari seluruh mahasiswa mampu menjawab benar. Mathematical proficiency is one of the treatises to indicate the success of learning mathematics. One component of mathematical proficiency is Mathematical Conceptual Understanding, with 6 indicators of it. This is descriptive quantitative research and continued with answer analysis of 44 Mathematics Education students of the first batch at IAIN Ponorogo in the Academic Year 2022-2023. This study focuses on analyzing descriptively students' conceptual understanding of logic in term diagnostic assessment results i.e. students’ majors at the previous education level. Data were obtained from the students’ scores and answers to Logic material. Based on the results, known that the conceptual understanding of students is still relatively low as it is below 70%. For details, the average student’s conceptual understanding percentage from science majors is 52.3%, social sciences majors are 43.3%, and religion and vocational majors are 33.3%. The common mistakes that students made were in the sixth indicator, i.e. developing necessary or sufficient terms of a concept which only 2 of all students answered correctly.

Abstract

Multimedia interaktif telah menjadi sarana efektif dalam media pembelajaran. Dalam mata pelajaran matematika, multimedia interaktif dapat memberikan kontribusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman yang berkaitan dengan hasil belajar matematika. Melibatkan elemen – elemen multimedia seperi animasi, suara, video dan simulasi dapat membuat siswa ikut andil dalam menggambarkan konsep - konsep matematika dengan cara yang lebih visual dan dinamis. Akan tetapi, pendidikan matematika di Indonesia masih terbatas dalam menggunakan multimedia interaktif, sehingga peneliti ingin mengidentifikasi dan memberikan gambaran yang luas tentang penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review.Studi primer yang digunakan yaitu artikel yang dipublikasikan periode 2019-2023. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat 188 artikel mengenai penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada semua jenjang pendidikan dengan 4 jenis multimedia interaktif. Ditemukan artikel yang berindeks Sinta X merupakan artikel terbanyak dalam publikasi dengan demografi penelitian tertinggi di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian dengan metode Research and Development merupakan penelitian yang paling banyak ditemukan.   Interactive multimedia has become an effective means of learning media. Interactive multimedia in mathematics learning can contribute to increasing understanding related to mathematics learning outcomes. Involving multimedia elements such as animation, sound, video and simulations can make students take part in depicting mathematical concepts in a more visual and dynamic way. However, mathematics education in Indonesia is still limited in using interactive multimedia, so researchers want to identify and provide a broad picture of the use of interactive multimedia on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. The research method chosen in this research is Systematic Literature Review. This research aims to systematically present and analyze relevant literature that has been published on this topic. The primary study used is articles published in the 2019-2023 period. Based on this research, it was found that there were 188 articles regarding the use of interactive multimedia on mathematics learning outcomes at all levels of education with 4 types of interactive multimedia. It was found that articles with the Sinta X index were the most articles in publications with the highest research demographics on the island of Java.
