Abstract

Becoming a Hafidz or having a generation that memorizes the Qur'an is the hope of Muslims, especially at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta because this is a glory that can bring its owner happiness in this world and the hereafter and can even be an achievement and pride in itself for the individual. Muhammadiyah Middle School 5 Surakarta. However, the current reality is that many institutions or agencies that organize Tahfidzul Qur'an have not yet shown significant results in bringing back generations of Qur'an memorizers. This problem cannot be separated from the learning methods used. This research uses qualitative methods, the data sources used are teachers and students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta, data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this research show that the use of inconsistent methods in memorizing the Qur'an produces the following results: 1). Students experience difficulty in maintaining their memorization, 2) Students feel bored and have difficulty memorizing, 3) Educators will find it difficult to provide value for students' learning outcomes. From these findings it can be concluded that inconsistent methods for memorizing the Qur'an cannot be fully applied in learning because the results are not relevant for us to implement, so there must be an evaluation and development of Al-Qur'an learning methods.

Abstract

This study discusses Zakiah Daradjat's perspective on Islamic education and its contribution to Islamic education in Indonesia. The main issues discussed are: (1) The concept of Islamic education according to Zakiah Daradjat; (2) The contribution of Zakiah Daradjat's thoughts about Islamic education to Islamic education in Indonesia. This study used the library research method, with primary data sources obtained from the works of Prof. Dr. Zakiah Daradjat who focuses on 3 (three) books, namely Psychology, Islamic Education, and Religious Education in Mental Development, as well as secondary data sources in the form of books relevant to this research. The data analysis technique used by the author in this study is data triangulation. The results of the discussion concluded: the concept of Islamic education according to Zakiah Daradjat is the essence of forming human beings who have noble morals or in other words morals are good deeds. Morals are a reflection of faith in the form of behavior, speech, and attitude. Because Islamic education is not merely religious education, but the cultivation of a religious spirit by accustoming children to good qualities and habits. The goal of Islamic Education is the embodiment of Islamic values in the human person of the student that is endeavored by Muslim educators. The contribution of Islamic education thought initiated by Zakiah Daradjat can be seen theoretically, namely: The components of Islamic education according to him are educators, students, educational methods, and curriculum which are an inseparable unit, one with the other equally taking part in achieve the goal, namely to create a generation of good morals. In practice, he was a reformer of Islamic education in his day.

Abstract

Educators at  MI Arrosyidin dan MI Al Islam Magelang must possess the ability to plan creatively inspiring and motivating learning experiences for students. Initial observations at the school have indicated that the implementation of the Self-Curriculum Teaching Module does not meet the expectations of many stakeholders. Therefore,  MI Arrosyidin dan MI Al Islam Magelang, both in the context of online and offline learning, has decided to conduct research in 2024, between July and August. In this study, 16 teachers from MI Arrosyidin dan MI Al Islam Magelang are participating. This research takes the form of a school action research, a form of self-reflection commonly carried out by educational practitioners within the educational environment to improve the quality of education, gain a deeper understanding of teaching practices, and seek improvements in educational implementation. Data are collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the training provided by the workshop facilitators has the potential to enhance teachers' ability to design Self-Curriculum Teaching Modules. One of the success indicators measurable in this school action research is that 95% of the teachers have successfully created Self-Curriculum Teaching Modules with a high level of creativity and innovation.

Abstract

The class action study conducted was intended to identify efforts to improve the quality of rote asmaul husna by using the method of singing. This use of the singing method has had a positive effect. From one cycle to the next, repairs were made. It makes it easier for students to memorize asmaul husna. By studying disciples, have indicated that application of the singing method has had a positive effect on learning asmaul husna in elementary school Kedungjati. Singing methods can improve participants' performance because they are active, creative and excited during the lesson. Studies have shown that the practice of singing to students successfully increases rote asmaul husna is performed at 33% precycle, in the I cycle is 58%, while in the II cycle increases 83%.

Abstract

Education is an effort to improve the quality of humans to become pious people. Thus, the provision of guidance and counseling is not only based on psychological and sociocultural principles, but also must understand that humans are creatures of Allah the Exalted. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of spiritual counseling guidance carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Jamilurrahman Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research is a field research, researchers use descriptive qualitative research. The objects of this research are school principals, student affairs and counseling guidance teachers. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation and documentation, as for technical data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study started from school preventive efforts, violations that occurred in the form of minor violations. Handling problematic students is carried out through dialogue directed at understanding religious values. The impact of spiritual counseling guidance indicates a change in behavior for the better. The supporting factor for spiritual counseling guidance is that teachers are given the opportunity to develop themselves and support school residents. As for the inhibiting factors, there are still school residents who do not understand the function of counseling guidance and there are still parents who lack response to student problems that violate school rules

Abstract

Salafiyah Wustho Islamic Center Bin Baz is a school equivalent to junior high school. Salafiyah Wustho has various problems that are often faced by teachers in the Fiqh learning process, such as students not paying attention during learning, to students' lack of ability to understand the lesson and express opinions about the material presented. This affects student learning outcomes which then become academic records which then become evaluation material. In this case, the teacher tries to contribute to making improvements related to student learning outcomes by using the group discussion method. This research is field research. This research uses qualitative methods, meaning the results were not obtained through statistical techniques or other calculations. Qualitative research, also known as naturalistic research, conducts research in a natural environment, or natural setting, without converting it into numbers or symbols. The results of this research are an increase in the learning outcomes of class VIII A students in the Fiqh subject. This is proven by the pre-test results, the average value of which is still much below the KKM and the post-test scores which have increased significantly, because there has been an increase from pre-test to post-test. In implementing this group discussion method, there are several inhibiting factors, namely lack of time, the learning method used is still conventional, therefore causing students' concentration to decrease due to boredom while learning is taking place. The supporting factors in implementing this group discussion method are that students are very enthusiastic and the class is more conducive because there is strong motivation from the students so that students are very enthusiastic about participating in learning using the group discussion method.

Abstract

This research describes the existence of school representation, namely Al Badar Islamic Elementary School as one of the favorite schools in Tulungagung Regency. Favorite schools become reference schools for the community in sending their children to receive quality education. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of the Principal, Teachers and Head of Administration who were the subjects of representation for the school in obtaining valid data. The data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research provide an interpretation that Al Badar Islamic Elementary School has become a favorite school in terms of the curriculum implemented which is integrated with the typical curriculum of the school institution, adequate school facilities and infrastructure, competitive graduates, abundant achievements, and adequate human resources. linear and professional. So it can be concluded that Al Badar Islamic Elementary School is present as a high-quality Islamic elementary school in terms of sound and professional institutional management.

Abstract

The feasibility study of a textbook is highly important as it relates to the content it delivers. Developing an Arabic language textbook must take into account its foundational principles and pedagogical bases to ensure that the resulting material aligns with the needs of the learners. Specifically, the focus lies on whether the textbook meets the feasibility standards based on expert theories and how the content is structured and delivered through the concepts of selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition. Additionally, it is essential to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the Qory ‘Aroby textbook. This study is a qualitative research using the literature review method. The results show that the Arabic language textbook Qory ‘Aroby, used in the Salafiyah Class II at the Islamic Centre Bin Baz, aligns well with Mackey's theoretical framework, fulfilling the stages of selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition. However, in terms of presentation, some adjustments are still needed, such as the completeness of punctuation marks, the inclusion of a syllabus appendix, and the clarity of material delivery, which still requires intensive teacher assistance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by indications of behavior that shows the low moral quality of students in Indonesia, so there is a need for moral education from an early age which must be applied to the importance of moral education with Pancasila values in forming the character of students in elementary schools. This research discusses moral education which has an important role in developing students' awareness of good values and shaping behavior that is in accordance with norms. Pancasila values consist of five principles that reflect the nation's personality. A gradual approach and understanding of goodness are important in forming students' character through moral education. This research is a type of literature review research with the collection of information used in the research obtained through previous research, citations, journals and books that are relevant to the research topic.

Abstract

SKI learning in Madrasah tends to be rote and merely informative. Thus, students often experience boredom when learning SKI. Saturation can be interpreted as boredom. This boredom causes students to have difficulty in understanding SKI learning material. To overcome this boredom, one way is to use innovative learning media such as card sort.  Card sort media is proposed as a solution to overcome problems in SKI learning. This research uses literature study method as the main approach in data collection and analysis. The results show that card sort media can make learning more interactive and interesting, so it can increase students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn. However, the drawback is that it can take a lot of time to prepare. Then it will be easy for noise to occur if the teacher cannot condition the class properly. In addition, card sort media can only be used for group learning and there is a possibility of deviating students' attention, especially if there is an answer that attracts their attention. As for its use, card sort media can only be used on certain materials. So, not all learning materials can be used in card sort media
