Abstract

Purpose of the study — The purpose of this study was to examine the antecedents of halal tourism and their implications for destination development and marketing. Research method— The research method employed was a systematic literature review, which involved searching and analyzing relevant scholarly articles and publications.Result— The results of the study revealed several key findings. Destination attributes, including halal-friendly facilities and services, emerged as crucial factors in attracting Muslim travelers. Effective marketing and promotion strategies, infrastructure and services, cultural and religious considerations, and socio-economic factors were also identified as significant determinants of halal tourism. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the factors that shape the growth and success of halal tourismConclusion— The antecedents of halal tourism play a vital role in attracting and satisfying the needs of Muslim travelers. Destinations and tourism stakeholders should consider these factors in their planning, development, and marketing efforts to tap into the growing halal tourism market. The practical implications of this study suggest that investing in halal-friendly facilities, implementing targeted marketing strategies, and respecting cultural and religious practices can enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of destinations in the halal tourism industry.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — To find out how much influence Work Discipline, Nurse Therapeutic Communication and Service Quality partially or simultaneously have on Patient Satisfaction at Mitra Sehat Clinic CirebonResearch method—provide This research design uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and this type of research is causal associative research with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The research location was the Mitra Sehat Cirebon Clinic with a population of patients who came to the Mitra Sehat Cirebon Clinic over a period of 6 days from 11-16 September 2023. The sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 92 people.research method that you employResult— 1) There is a partial positive and significant influence of Work Discipline on Patient Satisfaction at the Cirebon Mitra Sehat Clinic, amounting to 62%. 2) There is a partial positive and significant influence of Nurse Therapeutic Communication on Patient Satisfaction at the Cirebon Mitra Sehat Clinic, amounting to 13.5%. 3) There is a partial positive and significant influence of Service Quality on Patient Satisfaction at the Cirebon Mitra Sehat Clinic of 22.6%. 4) There is a simultaneous positive and significant influence of Work Discipline, Nurse Therapeutic Communication and Service Quality on Satisfaction at the Cirebon Mitra Sehat Clinic amounting to 88.5% while the remaining 11.5% is influenced by other factors.Conclusion— It is important to note that while work discipline, nurse therapeutic communication, and service quality were found to have a significant impact on patient satisfaction, there may still be other factors not accounted for in this study that influence patient satisfaction. Further research could explore additional variables and their contributions to patient satisfaction in healthcare settings.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to examine the influence of school principal leadership, work motivation, and work environment on the competency of vocational secondary school teachers. The purpose is to understand the relationships and effects of these factors on the teachers' competency and provide insights for improving the quality of vocational educationResearch method—The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey questionnaire to collect data from vocational secondary school teachers. The questionnaire consisted of items related to school principal leadership, work motivation, work environment, and teacher competency. A sample of teachers from various vocational secondary schools was selected, and the collected data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as correlation and regression analysis.Result— The findings of the study indicate significant relationships and effects between the variables under investigation. School principal leadership was found to have a positive and significant influence on the competency of vocational secondary school teachers. Furthermore, both work motivation and work environment were identified as significant predictors of teachers' competency. Teachers who perceived strong leadership from principals, high levels of work motivation, and positive work environments demonstrated higher levels of competency in their teaching practices.Conclusion— Based on the results, it can be concluded that school principal leadership, work motivation, and work environment play crucial roles in shaping the competency of vocational secondary school teachers. Effective leadership from principals, combined with a motivating work environment, can enhance teachers' motivation and ultimately contribute to their professional growth and competence. These findings highlight the importance of creating supportive and inspiring work environments in vocational secondary schools.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to explain the factors behind employee turnover intention at PT. Anugrah Rekanan Abadi Partner J&T Express. Research method— The study employs a qualitative method, utilizing interviews, observation, and documentation, while verifying data validity through data triangulation. Informants include leadership and employees selected through purposive sampling. Result— The findings indicate that the factors influencing employee turnover intention at PT. Anugrah Rekanan Abadi Partner J&T Express are primarily economic factors and demographic factors. Conclusion— To address these issues, the company should consider reviewing the wage structure, providing clearer career development opportunities, and supporting education for young employees to foster a more stable work environment and reduce turnover intention.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of workload and job stress on employee performance at the Karawang District Prosecutor's Office.Research method—This study employed a quantitative method with correlational research design. Data was collected from 53 employees using validated questionnaires measuring workload, job stress, and performance. Data was then analyzed using SPSS through multiple linear regression analysis.Result— The results showed that workload and job stress positively and significantly influenced employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Partially, workload had a significance value of 0.001 and job stress was 0.000. Simultaneously, they were significant with a value of 0.000. The determination coefficient was 0.751, meaning 75.1% of performance is influenced by workload and job stress.Conclusion— In conclusion, excessive workload can lead to job stress which negatively impacts employee performance at the Karawang District Prosecutor's Office. Practically, assigning reasonable work duties according to employee capacity and implementing stress reduction programs are recommended.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to analyze how the creativity of Galur Sari artists helps in maintaining its existence. Research method—The author used a descriptive qualitative method and triangulation technique. Data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with five individuals. Result— The results show that the creativity of artists in Galur Sari is reflected through four aspects: fluency of thought, flexibility of thought, elaboration, and originality. Most performers utilize a collaborative approach, combining music with existing facilities, updating stage layouts with modern dance, and leveraging social media and the surrounding environment. Conclusion— Increased creativity among traditional performers can help maintain the existence of their business in the modern era and provide motivation to continue developing creativity for business sustainability.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to determine and analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of competence and work environment on employee performance. Research method—A quantitative approach with correlational research method is used in this study. The employees of the Inspectorate Office of Karawang Regency are the subjects of this research. Saturated sampling technique is used to collect data through questionnaire distribution and observation. Result— The results show that there is a positive and significant influence between competence and employee performance. Similarly, employee performance is positively and significantly influenced by the work environment. Additionally, there is a significant and positive simultaneous influence between employee performance, competence, and work environment. Conclusion— This study provides insights into the importance of competence and work environment in enhancing employee performance. The findings suggest that organizations should focus on improving employee competence and creating a conducive work environment to enhance overall employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to explain the influence of Organizational Culture and training on employee performance, both simultaneously and partially Research method—The research employs quantitative methods, using a saturated sampling technique that includes all 31 employees of the Karawang Employment BPJS as the sample. Result— The findings indicate that both organizational culture and training significantly affect employee performance, with a significance value (sig.F) of 0.000. Additionally, organizational culture shows a significant partial effect on employee performance. Conclusion— The analysis, conducted through multiple linear regression using t-tests and f-tests, confirms that organizational culture and training are crucial factors influencing employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — The purpose of this study is to compare awareness, responsibility, reporting, and environmental audits in service companies and trading companiesResearch method — This study uses a comparative hypothesis test conducted using an independent sample test or independent variable difference test with the Mann Whitney U-test. The data processed is non-parametric statistics. The research subjects are 16 service companies and 16 trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2022.Result— The results of this study indicate that in testing in 2020 and 2021 there are no differences in green accounting awareness, green accounting responsibilities, green accounting reporting, and environmental audits in service companies and trading companies. In 2022, there are no differences in green accounting awareness, green accounting responsibilities, and green accounting reporting in service companies and trading companies, but there are differences in environmental audits.Conclusion— The application of green accounting is expected to be able to meet the needs of companies in identifying and presenting information related to social and environmental responsibility. The findings suggest that service companies and trading companies have similar practices in green accounting awareness, responsibilities, and reporting, but differ in environmental audits in 2022.
