Abstract

Differences between generations are inevitable in social and organizational life. The mindset and communication style owned by the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z generations, often cause misunderstandings that can reduce productivity and hinder innovation, so an empathetic attitude is needed that can help connect communication and increase understanding between generations. This research shows that empathy can reduce negative stereotypes and support intergenerational collaboration. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, which analyzes various sources related to empathy, intergenerational stigma, and intergenerational social dynamics. The results show that empathy can be strengthened through open dialogue, mentoring programs and collaborative activities, thereby increasing intergenerational understanding. Developing intergenerational empathy is essential to overcome stigma and create harmonious and productive social relationships.

Abstract

Payment is a final process which is a sign of the agreement that a transaction has been successfully carried out and there is an agreement. In this study related to the discussion of payment variation mechanisms will be discussed on functions in e-commerce. Payment features are many features and are highly expected by consumers because the choice of payment features will provide consumers with many options when completing a transaction coupled with the potential for cash banks and installment mechanisms provided by the platform. Payment variations are a mechanism that must be implemented by e-commerce in collaboration with payment service providers. From research conducted using the SWOT and Balance Scorecard methods, it can be found that with variations in payment, especially for bank installment mechanisms, it automatically increases people's spending ability for transactions with a large scope where e-commerce transactions tend to be mostly filled with transactions. retail with a nominal value that is not so large. Purchasing power and public spending potential with this variation also indirectly increases where the resulting research is at point 4 to 5 of the survey conducted. So that from all this it can be concluded that the more a variety of payments provided by the platform, the greater the potential to increase the ability and attractiveness of the public to make purchases because each community has different means of payment, indeed the potential is the same but there is a tendency for people in some small areas do not have access to a variety of banking services so that the presence of variety and the provision of these services will indirectly increase the purchasing potential of the public

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Prosecutor’s Office in promoting the implementation of Restorative Justice as an effort to achieve social reintegration and prevent recidivism in Indonesia. The conventional retributive criminal justice system is considered less effective in restoring relationships between offenders, victims, and the community. As an alternative, restorative justice emphasizes reconciliation and social healing. Through Regulation of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia No. 15 of 2020, prosecutors are authorized to terminate prosecution based on restorative justice principles. Its implementation is reflected in the increasing number of cases resolved through peaceful agreements and the establishment of Restorative Justice Houses across regions. However, challenges such as potential misuse, limited resources, and legal culture resistance remain. Nevertheless, the Prosecutor’s Office continues to strengthen its role through prosecutor training, tiered supervision, and inter-agency collaboration to ensure justice that is accountable, humanistic, and oriented toward social restoration.

Abstract

Target Costing is a strategic approach in cost management that begins with determining the selling price of a product based on market conditions and consumer preferences, then setting the expected profit, and from there determining the maximum cost allowed to produce the product. This is very good for companies to implement so that companies can manage costs well and achieve company profits. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of implementing target costing in an effort to increase company profits. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that the calculation of target costing at Mazdar Collection can increase company profits by 27%, including 39% from jacket sales and 26% from sales of almamater uniforms. So Mazdar Collection should implement the target costing method in order to achieve the expected profit.

Abstract

After the payment for the auction object is made by the buyer to the auction seller, the purpose is to repay the debtor’s debt to the creditor. This study examines the Auction Regulation for the Execution of Guarantee Rights and its alignment with the principles of fairness, focusing on the obstacles faced by auction winners when debtors refuse to vacate the collateral property. The research uses the constructivism paradigm, which views legal science as dealing primarily with laws and regulations. The research approach is social legal research, employing a normative legal research method—also known as literature law research or doctrinal law research—because this study is conducted through library research consisting of legal materials and supported by secondary legal sources. The research findings show that the regulation of the execution of rights of dependents has not been fair due to Article 20 of the Law on the Rights of Dependents and Articles 200 and 224 of the HIR. Article 6 of Law No. 4 of 1996 and the Regulation of the Minister of Finance, as well as Law No. 12 of 2011, are also relevant. Furthermore, weaknesses in the regulations include the contradiction between the legal substance of Article 6 of the HT Law and the explanation of Article 26 of the Law on the Rights of Dependents. The implementation of execution is also based on Article 224 of the HIR.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate an effective maritime defense strategy in increasing the resilience of the Indonesian Navy base through the use of SpectroMar Maritime Surveillance technology. The background of this research is based on the complexity of maritime threats that continue to grow and the limitations of conventional surveillance systems. The method used is a quantitative approach with analysis based on the theoretical framework of Clausewitz's strategy (Ends, Ways, Means). The results of the study show that the integration of SpectroMar is able to improve early detection capabilities, rapid response, and coordination efficiency between bases. The resulting strategy recommends improving infrastructure, training personnel, and strengthening cross-agency cooperation. This research is expected to be a reference in strengthening the national sea defense system that is adaptive, intelligent, and sustainable.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of aviation security in the face of cyber threats and formulate the best strategies to strengthen national digital defense in the perspective of the Universal War Strategy. The background of this research is driven by the increasing frequency and complexity of cyberattacks against global and regional aviation systems, which threaten aviation safety and national sovereignty. Based on data from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO, 2023), cyberattacks in the aviation sector increased by 46% between 2020–2023, while the State Cyber and Cryptography Agency (BSSN, 2023) recorded more than 210 cyber incidents targeting Indonesia's air transportation system. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with two main theoretical foundations, namely George C. Edward III's policy implementation theory and Carl von Clausewitz's military strategy theory which is operationalized through SWOT-AHP analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of cybersecurity policies in Indonesia's aviation sector still faces obstacles in terms of communication, resources, executive disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Factually, only 37% of national airport operators have cyber incident response teams (CSIRTs), while the digital security budget allocation is still below ICAO's recommendation of 2% of the total operational budget. A special finding from this study is the application of the concept of "Digital Universe War", which is the synergy of civilian, military, and technological forces in the national cyber defense system that is integrated with the ASEAN regional security ecosystem. Based on the SWOT-AHP results, the best priority strategy is the integration of national cybersecurity and aviation systems (weight 0.36), followed by increasing human resource capacity and strengthening regional cyber intelligence cooperation. This research contributes significantly to expanding the paradigm of universal warfare to the digital realm as a strategic instrument to maintain national aviation security and sovereignty in the cyber era.
Is Hermeneutics Necessary for Reading the Quran Today? Mubarok, Akhmad Luthfi

Abstract

The debate over hermeneutics in Quranic studies remains a central discourse among contemporary Muslim academics. Hermeneutics is considered capable of bridging the revealed text with modern social realities, but at the same time has the potential to give rise to relativism of meaning and shift the authority of revelation. This study aims to weigh the potential and risks of hermeneutics in the study of interpretation and to offer a middle ground formulation called bounded hermeneutics . This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, examining the main works of Abdullah Saeed, Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, Amina Wadud, as well as the thoughts of Indonesian scholars such as Sahiron Syamsuddin, Quraish Shihab, and Abdurrahman Wahid. The analysis results show that hermeneutics contributes to presenting interpretations that are contextual and responsive to contemporary issues such as gender, human rights, and pluralism. However, this approach also has epistemological and social weaknesses when applied without limits. Through a synthesis between the principles of maqāṣid al- sharī'ah , the discipline of ushul al-tafsir , and the contextual sensitivity of hermeneutics, this research offers awake hermeneutics as a model of moderate interpretation that is relevant to the dynamics of the times but still maintains the sanctity of the divine text.
