Abstract

The brain drain phenomenon in generation Z has become a significant global issue. This research aims to explore the factors that encourage generation Z to leave their home countries to seek opportunities abroad. Using a case study-based qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with respondents aged 18-27 years. Thematic analysis identified four main themes: economic opportunity, educational quality, socio-political dissatisfaction, and self-development aspirations. The results show that intrinsic motivation, such as the desire for self-development and multicultural experiences, plays an important role in addition to external factors such as educational quality and economic opportunities. These findings highlight the need for policy strategies to create conditions that support young people to continue contributing in their home countries.

The Influence of Employee Competence on Employee Performance Through Motivation as a Mediating Variable (Study at the Office of the Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM) of Pamekasan Regency), Postgraduate Program, Wijaya Putra University. The type of research is explanatory, the research approach used is quantitative, the research sample is 42 respondents. Data analysis uses SPSS and PLS analysis. The objectives of this study are: 1) To test and analyze the influence of competence on the performance of employees of the Regional Revenue and Financial Management Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency; 2) To test and analyze the influence of competence on the motivation of employees of the Regional Revenue and Financial Management Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency; 3) To test and analyze the influence of motivation on the performance of employees of the Regional Revenue and Financial Management Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency; 4) To test and analyze the influence of employee competence on the performance of employees of the Regional Revenue and Financial Management Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency mediated by motivation. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Employee competence has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Financial Management and Regional Revenue Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency with an original sample value of 0.228; 2) Employee competence has a significant effect on the motivation of the Financial Management and Regional Revenue Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency with an original sample value of 0.376; 3) Motivation has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Financial Management and Regional Revenue Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency with an original sample value of 0.499; 4) Employee competence has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Financial Management and Regional Revenue Agency (BPKPD) of Pamekasan Regency mediated by motivation with an original sample value of 0.188.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of education at MAN 2 Sukabumi, which is based on a boarding school system. The background of this research highlights the increasing need for integrated educational approaches that combine academic learning and character building in a structured environment. The objective of this research is to analyze how the boarding school model is applied in MAN 2 Sukabumi and its impact on students' academic and personal development. The research uses a qualitative approach with case study methodology, involving data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that the implementation of the boarding school system at MAN 2 Sukabumi has a positive effect on students' discipline, time management, and academic performance. The vision and mission of the school focus on producing knowledgeable, skilled, and ethical individuals who contribute to society. This study concludes that the boarding school model effectively supports holistic student development.

Abstract

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology have had a significant impact on people's lives, including Generation Z, in facing ethical challenges regarding the use of AI. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was collected through a review of scientific journals, reference books and related research relevant to the topic. The research results show that Generation Z needs to improve digital skills and media literacy to face these challenges, especially in managing personal data privacy, understanding algorithm bias, and verifying information in cyberspace. This research suggests the importance of media literacy education and technical skills such as programming and cybersecurity as solutions to reduce the negative impact of AI technology on Generation Z.

Abstract

This study tries to see the use of visual media in making it easier for elementary school students to understand the concept of rational and irrational numbers. The technique used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, using the topic of grade V or VI students and Mathematics teachers. Documentation, interviews, and observations were used to collect data. The findings show that the use of visualization media, including pictures, charts, and films, is able to increase students' understanding of rational and irrational number materials. Students are more enthusiastic, active, and confident in participating in learning. The use of visual media also strengthens student participation and creates an engaging learning atmosphere. Overall, visual media has proven to be effective in helping students understand abstract ideas in mathematics, especially rational and irrational numbers, in accordance with the Merdeka Learning curriculum-based learning approach.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of school accreditation in improving school promotion in Mi Ciawitali 01. This research was conducted using a qualitative methodology that collected data through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data delivery, data verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research include the Implementation of Accreditation at Mi Ciawitali 01, the Role of Accreditation in Increasing School Promotion at Mi Ciawitali 01, Inhibiting and Supporting Factors for Implementing Accreditation at Mi Ciawitali 01.

Abstract

Revenge porn is a form of technology-based sexual violence that is increasingly developing in the digital era. This crime not only violates privacy, but also involves sexual exploitation through the distribution or threat of distribution of intimate content without consent. Unfortunately, the impact of this crime on female victims is enormous, and the legal systems in many countries still show weaknesses in dealing with its complexity. This study explores revenge porn from a criminological perspective, focusing on the perpetrator's action patterns, the vulnerability of victims, and the weaknesses of existing regulations. This study uses a normative legal research method with a conceptual approach. The data collection method was collected using a literature study and then analyzed using qualitative methods and presented descriptively. The results of the study show that revenge porn has a multidimensional impact on victims and the general public. In addition, weaknesses in regulations are still an obstacle in providing protection for victims. Existing regulations are limited to violations of privacy without considering the dimensions of sexual exploitation, gender dynamics, or the psychological impacts experienced by victims. Therefore, legal reform is needed that includes a clear definition, recognition of the gender dimension, and closer international cooperation.

Abstract

Playgrounds have an important role in supporting early childhood development (AUD) holistically, including physical, cognitive, social and emotional aspects. As a space for exploration and play, playgrounds are designed to stimulate children's gross and fine motor skills, creativity, problem solving and social skills. However, safety is the main factor that must be considered when designing a playground. The safety play concept is applied to minimize the risk of physical injury and psychological trauma to children while playing. Implementation of safety play includes the use of safe surface materials, play equipment according to safety standards, adult supervision, separation of areas based on age groups, and safety education for children. With a safe and functional design, playgrounds not only provide a sense of security for children but also support their optimal development. This research highlights the importance of playgrounds as a means of learning and developing AUD as well as examining the application of safety play to create an ideal playing environment.

Abstract

Vegetables are a type of food that comes from plants that are easily perishable because of their high water content so they require handling according to their type to extend their shelf life. The purpose of this study is to determine the handling of vegetables in the preparation process of buffet dishes at the Hotel. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study include the importance of handling vegetables to keep vegetables of good quality and fresh, vegetables become attractive when served and arranged for buffet dishes, and vegetables are more guaranteed and more durable when stored. Vegetable handling starts from selection, weeding, washing, cutting, blanching, pre-cooling, to vegetable storage. Kitchen Hotel Mercure has carried out almost all stages in accordance with standard operating procedures so that it can meet the needs of vegetables according to the type of cuisine and the quality of vegetables and minimize losses.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in language assessment has revolutionized the field, offering innovative solutions to longstanding challenges. This paper explores the transformative impact of AI in language assessment, emphasizing its pioneering role in enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and inclusivity. Through an extensive literature review, this study analyzes various AI-based language assessment methodologies, including automated essay scoring, speech recognition, natural language processing, and adaptive testing. By examining the strengths and limitations of each approach, we unravel the capabilities of AI in tailoring assessments to individual learners' needs, providing personalized and constructive feedback.
