Abstract

The era of globalization brings new challenges and problems that require innovative solutions. Thus, 21st century education requires students to have higher order thinking skills, one of the learning models for developing these skills is Project Based Learning (PjBL) and ecoliteracy. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using Project Based Learning (PjBL) and ecoliteracy learning models separately and together on students' higher order thinking skills. This research is quantitative research with quasi-experiment type. Data collection techniques in this study used ecoliteracy questionnaire instruments and higher order thinking skills tests, as well as observation sheets to observe the implementation of the learning model. As for data analysis, this study used descriptive statistical techniques, tested analytical requirements such as normality and homogeneity tests, and applied inferential statistical analysis with two-way Anava. The results showed that Project Based Learning and ecoliteracy together had a significant positive impact on students' higher order thinking skills. This indicates that the use of Project Based Learning and ecoliteracy is more effective in improving students' higher order thinking skills when compared to using only Project Based Learning or learning models alone.

Abstract

The involvement of the Indonesian Army in law enforcement is often a problematic issue in the context of countries that implement a democratic system. History has proven that authoritarianism is not only the domination of the military, but also the domination of every government regime including civilians that do not implement checks and balances system in the execution of the government. This is what should be the focus of the problem. Apart from that, law enforcement authority actually is not only limited to the area of civil authority which is only given to the police as a representation of state authority which obtains authority from law, but rather to the police functions in general which can also be given to the military which functions as law enforcement officers (law enforcement officials) as explained in the UN Code of Conduct for Law Enforcement as follows; "(a) The term "law enforcement officials", includes all officers of the law, whether appointed or elected, who exercise police powers, especially the powers of arrest or detention. (b) In countries where police powers are exercised by military authorities, whether uniformed or not, or by State security forces, the definition of law enforcement officials shall be regarded as including officers of such services." In the explanation of Article 1 of the Code of Conduct for Law Enforcement, it is clear that what is meant by "law enforcement officials" includes elected or appointed law enforcement officers who are given the authority to carry out arrests and detention.

Abstract

The healthcare industry is undergoing a paradigm shift towards patient-centered care. In this competitive environment, patient satisfaction and loyalty are crucial for hospitals. While patient satisfaction is routinely measured, its precise relationship with loyalty remains unclear, as existing studies have yielded mixed results. Other determinants aside from patient satisfaction may also influence patient loyalty. By identifying these key determinants, hospitals can develop targeted strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and promoting patient loyalty, ultimately securing a competitive advantage. Objective: This systematic literature review aims to explore the current research on factors influencing outpatient loyalty to hospitals. Method: This systematic review uses Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. A search strategy was used to identify relevant studies in PubMed, ProQuest, and ScienceDirect. The search timeframe encompassed publications between January 2019 and April 2024. A set of predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, resulting in the identification of 17 articles relevant for further analysis. Result: Patient satisfaction emerged as a key driver of loyalty, positively influenced by factors beyond service quality. These factors include trust in the hospital, word of mouth, hospital image, strong patient-physician relationships, patient convenience, patient motives, switching cost, customer relationship management, and staff kindness and consideration. Conclusion: Patient loyalty is influenced by a multitude of factors extending beyond service quality and satisfaction. Building trust, nurturing patient relationships, optimizing the patient experience, and offering value are crucial considerations. Tailoring strategies to specific patient demographics and cultural contexts are essential.

Abstract

As a production division in a government-owned shipyard, the Commercial Ship Division has a direct workforce of 28% of PT PAL Indonesia's workforce. The revenue generated annually reaches 46% of the company's total revenue, with an increase in revenue reaching 50% each year. With the large number of direct labor, revenue targets and the complexity of the ship production process, workload analysis needs to be done to measure the workload of direct labor and the number of direct labor needed. Workload analysis is carried out using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method, where the FTE Index resulting from the calculation will be grouped into three categories namely underload, normal and overload. From the calculation of the FTE index of direct labor in the Commercial Ship Division, there are 5 people in the underload category, 27 people in the normal category and 134 people in the overload category. From the results of the calculation of direct labor requirements using the Full Time Equivalent method as well as optimization and efficiency of labor, the number of direct labor requirements for the Commercial Ship Division is 315 people.

Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing significant economic growth, increasing consumer demand for home appliances, but it impacts the environment. Thus, manufacturers, regulators, and marketers need valuable insights into understanding how to effectively target environmentally conscious consumers in Indonesia. This study aims to establish a comprehensive framework utilizing the Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to assess the determinants influencing Indonesian consumers' purchase intentions toward environmentally friendly home appliance products in Indonesia. The research analyzes the impact of eco-innovation, green products, environmental concerns, knowledge, and perceived value and risks associated with green products. This study adopts an empirical research design and gathers data using a quantitative methodology via survey questionnaires from 280 respondents. The robustness of the research is further enhanced by using structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate the proposed research framework and test various hypotheses concerning the relationships between the identified factors and green purchase intentions. This section will summarize the key results of the research, such as the most significant determinants of purchase intentions and the strength of the mediating effects between green trust and consumer attitude. This indicates that several variables, such as environmental concern, eco-innovation, and green perceived value, have contrasting results from preliminary assumptions based on references. Also, attitude is important as a mediating variable rather than green trust to influence consumer purchase intentions toward green home appliance products.
