Abstract

Islamic education is an effort of physical and spiritual guidance at the level of individual and social life to develop human nature based on Islamic laws towards the formation of an ideal human being (insan kamil) who has a Muslim personality and commendable morals and is obedient to Islam so that he can achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. The family is the first place where the education process takes place. Then continued with school and society. The difficulties in carrying out the task of educating are very pronounced, especially when faced with the reality that the influence of the environment is so strong, even surpassing the strength of other educational factors. At times like that, parents as the first educational force in the family environment must realize their role as educators completely towards their children. Departing from that background, the author then wants to discuss it in a thesis entitled "Islamic Education from the Perspective of Zakiah Daradjat". The purpose of this study is to determine the concept of Islamic education by Zakiah Daradjat which includes: the definition of Islamic education, the responsibility of Islamic education, the educational environment, and the concept of Islamic education according to Zakiah Daradjat. This research is a Library Research, meaning pure literature (looking for books and relevant books) with the title of the thesis. And using the Content Analysis technique means analyzing the contents of books that are relevant to the title and sourced from the results of library data collection. With the Descriptive Critical Analysis method, it means describing human ideas. In this case, tracing the theme raised which is related to this research, namely the concept of Islamic Education. The collected research data was analyzed using a deductive and inductive approach. The concept of Zakiah Daradjat, especially about Islamic education, shows that in the first stage of education there are dimensions in humans, namely; physical, intellectual, faith, morals, spiritual, beauty, social-community dimensions. And related to the responsibility of education in Islam which is held by parents, teachers and society, where all of that later their children will become the successors of their family, religion and country.

Abstract

Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim is a female ulama or Islamic scholar from Jombang, who has a great concern on the development of women. Her concern is shown through her involvement in the management of the Seblak Female Islamic Boarding School and the establishment of the Kuttabul Banat Madrasah, which is specifically built for Saudi Arabian women. Through this educational institution, Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim seeks to give rights to women to have the same opportunities as men in terms of being educated and having the opportunity to develop all of their potential. The objective is making it possible for women to live independently. The efforts Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim have made at the same time refute the negative assumptions of the society. Those assumptions include the statements saying that women are weak people who can only depend on men, women do not deserve the opportunity to get an education because their final task is merely being at home to take care of the household, and women are always discriminated in all fields. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the concept of Islamic education for women based on NyaiKhairiyah Hasyim’sperspective; (2) To find out the relevance of the Islamic education concept for women based on Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim’s perspective on women's education in modern times. This study employs a qualitative approach usinga historical research as the type of study to examine the contribution of the Islamic scholar. The data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and literature studies, through primary reference sources and other sources supportingthe study. The results of the study indicate that, (1) The Islamic education for women aims to develop intellectual abilities, skills and personality according to Islamic teachings. Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim implements a gender equality-based curriculum. There are several classical education methods applied by Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim, such as the sorogan, bandongan, deliberation and exemplary methods. The relationship between educators and students in Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim's perspective should be the one like what parents and children have. (2) The concept of Islamic education for women, based on Nyai Khairiyah Hasyim's perspective, is relevant to women's education in modern times because it can be an answer to the challenges of the modern development while still prioritizing the dignity of women..

Abstract

This research was conducted at MI Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. The problems identified in this study are the inhibiting factors of reading skills in lower grade students. This study aims to describe: (1) To determine the reading skills of lower grade students at MI Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta, (2) To determine the inhibiting factors of reading skills in lower grade students at MI Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta, (3) To determine the methods used to improve reading skills in lower grade students at MI Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The subjects in this study were the principal, lower grade teachers, and lower grade students at MI Umdatur Rasikhien Jakarta. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used three stages consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data examination or checking was carried out by triangulation of data sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of the study showed that reading skills in lower grade students still have errors, namely: (1) Errors in recognizing letters, (2) Understanding vocabulary, (3) Difficulty in reading words or lip movements when reading, (4) Reading by spelling, (5) Understanding one letter at a time, (6) Reversing words and reading too fast so that words are overtaken when reading. The factors that influence reading skills in lower grade students include physiological, psychological, and environmental factors. The way to improve reading skills in lower grade students is to foster a love of reading by providing learning reading materials such as textbooks, reading texts, and getting used to reading regularly by giving students the opportunity to learn to move forward, teachers give students time to read one to three lines of reading, and use teaching aids to teach children who cannot or do not understand letters or reading.

Abstract

This study uses a library research method, namely research whose main object is books and other literature as the object of analysis. The primary data source is the interpretation of the Qur'an al-'azim. While the secondary data sources are the interpretation books written by the scholars and supporting books related to the problem being studied. The method used is the maudu'i method, namely thematic method by collecting and compiling all verses or hadiths that have the same direction, then analyzing them from various aspects to then presenting them into a particular theme with the nature of analytical descriptive research. The purpose of the study is to explain and facilitate understanding the meaning of the role of Islamic education in the family environment in the formation of Muslim personality, as well as to increase and expand insight into thinking about the meaning of Islamic education and also the principles of Islamic education. The results of this study indicate that as a consequence of faith, a Muslim should be consistent and consistent in studying, studying and even contemplating the contents of the Qur'an. By studying its contents, we will add to our new treasury, broaden our horizons of thought and knowledge, increase new perspectives and always encounter new things. Furthermore, we will be more convinced of the uniqueness of the contents of the Qur'an which shows the Greatness of Allah as the Almighty Creator. Based on the results of the analysis both textually and contextually on the role of Islamic education in the family environment in the formation of Muslim personality, there are several implications including: the concept of Islamic education in the family environment, the urgency of education in the family environment in the formation of Muslim personality, the implementation of family education in the household in forming Muslim personalities, describing the patterns of application of Islamic education carried out in the family environment, namely in the household in order to realize Muslim personalities, the formation of Muslim personalities in the family environment from the perspective of Islamic education, the concept of informal Islamic education in the family environment, and the last is other verses or arguments concerning the importance of Islamic education to realize ideal personalities according to Islamic teachings

Abstract

The learning method is one method that can foster learning activities for students, and efforts to choose a good learning method improve the quality of teaching or education that will be their responsibility. Because this learning method aims to make it easier for a teacher to achieve certain goals. This study discusses the learning method in the Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nahl verse 125  using the Tafsir of the Al-Qur'an. This study was conducted to determine how the learning method in the Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nahl verse 125 through the analysis of Ibn Kathir's interpretation. And to find out whether verse 125 of the An-Nahl surah is about the educational method. This study includes library research (Library Research) using a qualitative descriptive method with an Tafsir approach, namely interpreting the verses of the Al-Qur'an related to the theme or title of the discussion. The data collection method is carried out using the documentation method. This method can be interpreted as a way of collecting data by utilizing data in the form of books. Data were taken from literature sources, namely primary sources including Ibn Kathir's interpretation while secondary sources were books, journals, and those related to the title. And using content analysis. The results of this study concluded that the learning method in the Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nahl verse 125 according to Ibn Kathir's Interpretation there are three learning methods, namely: the Hikmah method (good words), the Mau'idzah Hasanah method (good advice), and the Jidal method (debate).

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of employee engagement on employee performance at SMKN 1 Sangatta Utara. The number of samples in this study was 68 employees. The data for this study were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents, and then analyzed using a linear regression approach. Based on the results of testing with SPSS between employee engagement (X1) and employee performance (Y), the calculated t was 17.581> t table 2.055, which means that there is a significant effect so that partially there is an influence between job satisfaction (X1) on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

This qualitative case study examines the problems of early childhood Islamic character education in the digital era. Adopting Bandura's Social Learning Theory[1] and Bronfenbrenner's Ecological System[2], the study identified key challenges such as exposure to easily replicable negative content, screen time management difficulties, limited supervision, and value conflicts due to digital penetration in children's microsystems. The solutions identified include active parental mentoring, institutional strategies for Islamic PAUD, curation of Islamic digital content, strengthening direct interaction and habituation of values, and collaboration between home and school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's leadership style and work culture on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Gadingrejo District, both partially and simultaneously. The approach used is quantitative associative with survey method. Data were collected through closed questionnaires from 108 teachers selected by proportional randomization. Respondents were permanent teachers with at least two years of teaching experience. The research instruments were developed based on indicators of three variables: leadership style (instructive, consultative, participative, delegative), work culture (collegiality, trust, openness, appreciation, work habits), and teacher performance (planning, implementation, evaluation, classroom management, and professional development). Analysis was conducted descriptively and inferentially using multiple linear regression.The results showed that leadership style and work culture had a significant effect on teacher performance, both individually and collectively. A participative leadership style and a supportive work culture can create a productive work environment. The findings recommend the importance of strengthening principal leadership and developing work culture as strategies to improve the quality of teacher performance in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the management of Islamic education at MTs Puteri Sunniyyah Selo. The approach used is qualitative with in-depth interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the management of Islamic education in this madrasah is based on the principle of integration between Islamic values and modern academic development. The three main components, namely curriculum management, student management, and human resources, show good synergy, despite facing limited facilities and infrastructure. Collaborative strategies, transformational leadership, and foundation support are the main strengths in carrying out managerial functions. Key recommendations include strengthening management digitalization, continuous training for educators, developing technology-based evaluation systems, and increasing external cooperation for sustainability and improving the quality of education. This study contributes both from theoretical and practical aspects in the development of Islamic-based education management in the madrasah environment.

Abstract

The background of this problem is student learning outcomes in low mathematics subjects, especially opportunity material, the lack of student involvement in the learning process tends to be passive, the models used in the learning process are also less varied, so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to the opportunity material can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI IPA-1 students of MAN 1 Kebumen. This type of classroom action research (CAR) uses Kurt Lewin's theory. It was carried out at the MAN 1 Kebumen, with research subjects in class XI IPA-1, totaling 21 students. Data collection instruments are tests and observations. The PTK procedure starts from the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. This research was conducted in II cycles, each cycle of 2 meetings. The results showed that applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to opportunity material could improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI IPA-1 students at MAN 1 Kebumen. This is proven based on the results of data analysis obtained in the first cycle of the first meeting which obtained an average student score of 66.4 with a completeness percentage of 28% and at the second meeting the student's average score became 73 with a percentage of 43%. Then there was an increase in the third meeting of cycle II where the average score of students was 77 with a completeness percentage of 57% and at the fourth meeting it also increased to 86% with an average of 82. From the data analysis, the researcher stated that this research was successful with a percentage of student completeness is 86% and achieves an average score of ≥ 75
