Abstract

This paper discusses the meaning, concept, position, and role of philosophy in Islam which is divided into two main views: the group that rejects philosophy and the group that accepts it. The group that rejects philosophy views it as a threat to the purity of Islamic teachings, while the group that accepts philosophy sees it as a tool to deepen the understanding of Islamic teachings through the use of reason and rationality. Philosophy has an important position in Islam, as evidenced by the history of Muslim philosophers such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Rushd, who not only developed Islamic thought but also bridged the traditions of Greek and Western philosophy. In the context of Islam, philosophy helps answer contemporary challenges, understand the wisdom of religious teachings, and encourage a critical and rational approach to sacred texts. The philosophical approach in Islam also has a significant impact on the formation of science, such as ushul fiqh and tasawuf, and provides a framework for thinking to face modern challenges. Thus, philosophy and Islam complement each other in forming a deep and relevant understanding of religious teachings in everyday life.

Abstract

This research was written from a phenomenon experienced by PAI teachers, namely that PAI teachers still do not use and maximize the learning media provided by the school. In this case, there is still a lack of use of media by teachers in increasing students' interest in learning. The aim of this research is to increase the creativity of PAI teachers when using learning media to increase students' activeness and interest in learning. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data usage techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained from this research are that the media used in class VIII at SMPN 2 Sungai Pua, Agam Regency are visual media such as blackboards and in the form of textbooks that have been provided by the school. Then, in creativity, teachers use learning media in class, namely by using power points (PPT) and audio with learning videos. Furthermore, students' responses regarding PAI teachers' creativity when using media are quite good because it can be seen that during the learning process students are very active in expressing their opinions and ideas and asking questions. Therefore, it can be seen from students' interest in learning, students pay more attention to learning, are enthusiastic, and some are still passive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to develop teaching materials based on a project-based approach, to find out the use of creative and interactive media, and to find out creative learning techniques. This study was conducted using the library research method, by taking data sources from previous studies, books, magazines, and others. The results of this study indicate that the innovative Arabic language teaching material development method is expected to be able to improve the quality of students' language through easy, creative and interactive techniques and strategies through project-based learning, through media such as audio, video and other multimedia and through game strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, managerial ownership, and sales growth on tax avoidance in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020-2023. Tax avoidance is an important issue in the world of business and finance because it involves companies' efforts to minimize tax burdens legally. Using secondary data in the form of company financial reports obtained from the official IDX website, this study applies the panel data regression method to analyze the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that profitability and managerial ownership have a significant effect on tax avoidance, while sales growth does not show a significant effect. These findings provide implications for policy makers and company management in improving tax transparency and compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of trustworthiness (amanah) in Islam as a fundamental value that upholds divinity and humanity. Amanah, which means trust and responsibility, has interconnected spiritual and social dimensions. Through a qualitative approach using library research techniques, this study analyzes various literature sources, including the Qur'an, Hadith, and previous studies. The findings indicate that amanah serves not only as a moral obligation but also as a foundation for healthy social interactions. In the context of divinity, amanah reflects an individual's devotion to Allah SWT, while in the context of humanity, it plays a role in maintaining justice and solidarity among individuals. Statistical data show a positive relationship between the application of amanah values and public trust levels as well as ethical business practices. This research is expected to serve as a reference for educators, policymakers, and the broader community to understand the importance of applying amanah values for creating a better social environment.

Abstract

The current Indonesian education system is still constrained by an approach that is too teacher-centered and a rigid curriculum, thus limiting the space for students to develop their potential optimally. Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts on liberating education offer a relevant alternative, where students are given the freedom to learn according to their interests and talents, with teachers acting as facilitators. The application of this approach is expected to improve the quality of learning and produce more creative and innovative graduates. The method used in this study is a literature study by collecting data from previous research results and their relevant results. The objectives of the literature study in this study are 1) to find the problem to be studied, 2) to find information and data that are relevant to the topic to be discussed, 3) to add new knowledge from the results of the research being studied, 4) to test a basic truth of the theoretical approach in the problem being studied. While the analysis technique used is content analysis. The findings of this study confirm the effectiveness of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts in realizing student-centered education. By emphasizing the development of morals, intellect, and physical holistically, the educational approach he proposed has proven to be able to equip students with the competencies needed to face future challenges.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity. However, this diversity often presents challenges in maintaining unity. This study aims to identify strategic efforts that can be made to improve unity amidst religious diversity. The method used is a literature review. The results of the study indicate that interfaith dialogue, early tolerance education, strengthening the role of religious institutions, and campaigns through social media are effective steps in strengthening unity. In addition, collaboration in cross-religious social activities has also been proven to be able to build harmonious relationships. Thus, a joint commitment is needed from all elements of society and government to continue to encourage the creation of strong harmony amidst the nation's plurality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what the Islamic educational environment is like, its types and influences in the world of Islamic education. The research approach used is a qualitative approach through literature studies. The stages of the study were carried out by collecting literature sources, both primary and secondary. This study classifies data based on the research formula. In the advanced stage, data processing and/or reference citations are carried out to be displayed as research findings, abstracted to obtain complete information, and interpreted to produce knowledge for drawing conclusions. The research instrument is the researcher himself. The results show that the Islamic educational environment is a system that includes all aspects that influence the learning process and character formation of students in Islamic contests. The types of educational environments are divided into three, namely the family environment, the school environment and the community environment. There are three influences in Islamic education, namely negative, positive and neutral influences.

Abstract

Teori Ta'lil dalam filsafat hukum Islam merupakan pendekatan yang menitikberatkan pada pencarian rasionalitas dan hikmah di balik setiap ketentuan syariat. Teori ini bertujuan untuk memahami esensi hukum, bukan semata-mata teks literal, tetapi juga tujuan-tujuan mendasar (maqashid syariah) yang ingin dicapai. Penelitian ini membahas konsep dasar teori Ta'lil, landasan filosofis, serta aplikasinya dalam konteks penemuan hukum Islam. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis, penelitian ini menguraikan hubungan antara 'illah (sebab hukum) dan hikmah sebagai dasar penetapan hukum yang relevan dalam menghadapi dinamika sosial masyarakat. Teori Ta'lil memberikan fleksibilitas dalam penerapan hukum Islam agar tetap relevan, tanpa mengesampingkan otoritas wahyu. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa teori Ta'lil berperan penting dalam menyeimbangkan aspek normatif dan realitas praktis, sehingga memungkinkan hukum Islam menjawab kebutuhan zaman dengan tetap berpegang pada prinsip-prinsip universal syariah.

Abstract

This study examines the existence of information and communication technology in the learning process in Indonesia in facing the Society 5.0 era. This research method is qualitative with a literature study approach. The data collection technique in this study is to use literature studies where literature studies are activities to collect materials related to research. The sources of information can come from books, and also scientific journals. These data are used as a basis for strengthening arguments related to the transformation of education in Indonesia towards a more modern and adaptive education system to technological developments. The results of the study show that the existence of information and communication technology in the learning process in the Society 5.0 era requires the integration of digital technology, the development of digital competencies of teachers and students, and the transformation of more interactive and personal learning methods.
