Abstract

The activities of mentoring and empowering community groups in the Bitung Deaf and Caring Community (KALEB) aim to develop the potential of persons with disabilities (deaf) to get opportunities for self-actualization and increase self-confidence. This activity began with the provision of hearing aids, followed by the provision of sign language learning books. Furthermore, there is assistance in processing inorganic waste for all KALEB members, processing organic waste as a craft object for the deaf community. Other activities include the establishment of literacy cafes, screen printing and sign language education. The results of the mentoring and empowerment of community groups in the Bitung Deaf Care Community (KALEB) gave rise to a glimmer of hope to all KALEB participants that they too are part of the community. KALEB participants rose from mental retardation and lack of confidence. Support for hearing aids, procurement of sign language learning books, sign language education programs, and socio-economic programs have made it more convincing for deaf friends that they can actually be present in the midst of the general public.

Abstract

Caring for intellectuals and kinship on earth Masenrempulu Pundilemo Village. The purpose of this service is to provide assistance, empower the community in the implementation of religious development and family values ​​in Pundilemo Village. This community service was carried out for 45 days. The service team carried out the preparation of activities in the form of initial actions, namely approaching local residents, village officials and also conducting surveys for approximately a week as an initial step to develop a work program. The method used is the SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis method. The SWOT analysis method is a practical method used to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and obstacles of each problem. This community service activity has succeeded in growing intellectual and family values ​​in Pundilemo Village, especially in the fields of education, religion, and health. In addition, the community's response is also very good even though the implementation of the work program is still not 100% perfect.

Abstract

Knowledge about brushing teeth is important for early childhood to be able to maintain dental and oral hygiene from an early age. Knowledge about brushing teeth starting from the importance of brushing teeth to how to brush teeth needs to be taught from the beginning which will be useful for children's oral and dental health. Therefore, it is important to do the right stimulation, one of which is using the singing method so that children aged 5-6 years can quickly realize the importance of brushing their teeth and know how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. This community service research in the form of service learning was conducted at Aisyiyah Kindergarten Bustanul Athfal ll Perumnas Karunrung Branch with a total of 3 participants. The instrument used was a checklist sheet and an evaluation sheet for the implementation of the intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the service research show that students have knowledge of brushing their teeth through the singing method. The findings in this devotional research imply that teachers can use various fun methods such as singing in teaching children about brushing their teeth so that children can also apply it in a fun way without being forced.

Abstract

Training on the integration of research and Community Service (Pkm) into courses aims to provide additional competencies to lecturers in preparing Semester Learning Plans (RPS). The subject of service was a Lecturer at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin Makassar as many as 8 participants with representatives from several study programs in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire that is distributed through a google form. Training on the integration of research and Community Service (Pkm) into this course is very in line with the needs of participants, namely in this case lecturers in preparing a Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and covering the entire content of the training theme. Training participants have an understanding in applying the integration of research and Community Service (Pkm) to courses and of course provide great benefits. This training is expected to be able to give birth to a guideline for the integration of research and PkM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in motivation to learn Islamic religious education and ethics subjects through PowerPoint learning media in class V students of SD IT Wihdatul Ummah, Takalar Regency. The type of research used in this study was Classroom Action Research. The research was located at SD IT Wihdatul Ummah, Takalar Regency, with ten students as the subjects in class V. The instruments used were in the form of learning motivation observation sheets and PowerPoint media observation sheets. Furthermore, the analytical technique used in this study was observational data analysis on learning motivation. The study concluded that media exposure significantly increased students' motivation to learn about Islamic religious education and ethics from cycle to cycle. The PowerPoint media can improve student learning motivation in grade V students of SD IT Wihdatul Ummah, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

Training on the use of digital-based learning media aims to provide additional competence to lecturers in making new technology-based media. Subject service is a lecturer at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin Makassar as many as 12 participants with representatives from several study programs in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire that is distributed through a google form. As many as 75% of participants felt that this training was "very appropriate" and 25% "fit" the needs of the participants. In terms of material coverage, 58.3% of participants chose the "very covering" category and another 41.7% in the "covers" category. Trainees have an understanding of the "very understanding" and "understanding" categories as well as the usefulness of the training material with 83.3% "very useful" and 16.7% in the category of "useful". The results of the survey showed the high needs and how far the applications obtained by the trainees in improving their competence as lecturers. This training is expected to be able to become a reference for lecturers in producing outputs in the form of more up-to-date learning media so as to improve learning.

Abstract

Social development in children, especially in an attitude of wanting to help, is very important to be stimulated from an early age, because it is fundamental for children to interact with people around them. This study aims to determine the attitude of wanting to help after the application of playing picture puzzles through the group work method in children aged 4-5 years. This community service research in the form of service learning was conducted at Aisyiyah 1 Tidung Kindergarten with 3 children as participants. The instruments used are picture puzzles, observation sheets for children and evaluation sheets for the implementation of the intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the service research show that children are able to realize and increase their willingness to help their friends in playing picture puzzles by using the group work method.

Abstract

Improving vocabulary in children is very important to be stimulated, , the more vocabulary mastered by children it can facilitate children in interacting and communicating with others. This study aims to determine whether the vocabulary mastered by children is able to re-discuss the story that has been heard through the method of storytelling using props in children aged 5-6 years. Community service research in the form of service learning was conducted in kindergarten Aisyiyah Branch 1 Sungguminasa with a number of participants as many as 3 children. The instruments used in the form of props are images of animals that are cut out according to their shape and pasted on cardboard paper, besides the instruments used are also sheets of evaluation of implementation and intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that the 3 participants ' language development was different, there were children who had dared to propose to retell stories that had been heard but still could not tell them in order, there were also children who could tell it well but needed more time because they were still hesitant and shy and among them there were children who only heard and listened to their friends tell stories. The findings in this study imply that storytelling methods can improve children's vocabulary, if they focus on listening and listening to the content of the story.

Abstract

Giving stimulation in early childhood is very important for optimizing children's development, including fine motor skills. It is important to optimize fine motor development stimulation because it will affect the child's readiness to maximize the movements of the wrist and fingers. This also affects the coordination of the child's eye and hand functions so that he can process the information he receives at the same time. This study aims to determine the improvement of the child's eye and hand coordination after applying the method of thickening the dotted line to children aged 4 to 5 years in community service research through service learning at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal II Perumnas Makassar City with a total of 4 participants. children. In its application, it uses a dotted line patterned drawing paper instrument, an observation sheet, and an evaluation sheet for the implementation of the intervention. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this research show that the application of thickening the dotted line is effective in improving children's hand and eye coordination in carrying out activities simultaneously. This study implies that the development of hand-eye coordination in stimulated children has different speeds.
