Abstract

China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), launched in 2013, aims to improve global connectivity through infrastructure projects. In Indonesia, the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Rail (KCJB) project is an important part of the BRI, with the aim of speeding up travel time, improving connectivity, and boosting regional economic growth. However, the project faces challenges such as land acquisition, community resistance, and the risk of economic dependence on China. Using the theoretical approaches of Dependency, International Political Economy, and National Interest, this study highlights the opportunities and risks of this project in the context ofVIndonesia-China bilateral relations. The analysis shows that the KCJB can deliver substantial benefits, but requires risk management, effective technology transfer, and an inclusive approach to ensure the project's success and sustainability.

Annisa Hospital Human Resource Development data shows a tendency to increase employee turnover. From the 2022-2023 data, the percentage increase in turnover was 14.95%, rising to 16.64%. This turnover value is said to be quite high and has increased in percentage. This study aims to test the effect of situational awareness, work engagement on turnover intention with organizational commitment as an intervening variable for employees. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study were 169 permanent employees. Sampling was carried out by simple random sampling. Research data were obtained from filling out questionnaires and analyzed using the SEM PLS technique. The results of this study indicate that situational awareness, work engagement, organizational commitment each have a negative effect on turnover intention. Situational awareness and work engagement each have a positive effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment acts as an intervening factor for the influence given by situational awareness and work engagement on turnover intention. In order to reduce the high turnover intention, effective communication is needed, providing bonuses to employees according to their target achievements, providing enthusiasm and motivation to employees of Annisa Cikarang Hospital.

Abstract

Discharge planning is a process that begins from the moment a patient receives healthcare services until they return home. Effective discharge planning can enhance the coordination of services from the hospital to the community, ensure smooth patient discharge, and reduce the length of stay (LOS). However, repeated hospitalizations for the same health issues (readmissions) are still common. Nurses are key members of the discharge planning team and can facilitate the discharge process, helping patients achieve optimal health. Nurses' knowledge and compliance are crucial for the success of discharge planning. To investigate the influence of education on the knowledge and compliance of nurses regarding discharge planning at RSUD (Regional Public Hospital) Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Geriatric Unit and Abiyasa Pavilion Purwokerto. This study employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest using a paired t-test. The sample consists of 46 respondents who meet the inclusion criteria, selected through simple random sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form. Univariate analysis uses descriptive analysis, and data normality is tested with the Shapiro-Wilk test. The majority of respondents are female, aged 23-30 years, with the most recent education being a nursing profession degree. The mean knowledge score before education is 44.13 points, and the mean compliance score before education is 5.13 points. After education, the mean knowledge score is 53.78 points, and the mean compliance score is 7.67 points. There is a significant influence on the knowledge and compliance of nurses before and after being given discharge planning education (p-value 0.05), with an average difference in knowledge score of 9.652 points and an average difference in compliance score of 2.543 points. Education has a significant influence on nurses' knowledge and compliance with discharge planning

Abstract

Social media algorithms allow for information bias, leading to what Tom Nichols calls the “death of expertise”. In social media, expertise tends to be viewed sceptically. Instead, influencers and buzzers are often used as references even though their traces of expertise are not clear and proven. “Dirty Vote”, a political documentary featuring experts as the main actors shows this phenomenon. Experts, in this context, are not considered objective and independent. This research will explain the phenomenon of the “death of expertise” by describing comments reflected in the political documentary “Dirty Vote” on TikTok social media. Through the qualitative netnography method, this research takes comment data from 3 accounts with the top searches related to the short video “Dirty Vote”. The study shows that the phenomenon of “death of expertise” is true on TikTok with several highlights: (1) the inability of metacognition that tends to corner the role of experts and believe in things beyond substance; (2) the lack of digital literacy that uses provocative language, lead opinions and denigrates expertise; (3) the emergence of repeated comments that are indicated to be systematic and come from political buzzers who counter opinions. Openness is needed, and people on social media should be more open when viewing information. This phenomenon can be developed in other social media domains using different methods.

Covernotes are not regulated by the Notary Position Law (UUJN), so as a result of the existence of a covernote general legal provisions apply, both civil and criminal. Covernotes can be considered not included as authentic deeds because they are not regulated and stipulated in statutory regulations. 1) The legal position of notary covernotes in credit agreements: covernotes should not be used as a basis for credit disbursement because covernotes are basically only temporary collateral. In most cases, the covernote made by the notary only serves as proof that the certification process is still ongoing. Covernote does not have a legal umbrella because it is not regulated in the laws and regulations, either the Banking Law or UUJN. As a result, criminally applicable legal provisions will apply. 2) The judge saw that the charges against the defendant notary Gemara Handawuri were based on Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes, which states that the violations committed constitute a criminal act of corruption. The judge has decided to sentence notary Gemara Handawuri based on the testimony of the defendant, witnesses and evidence that provides conviction. 3) The creditor does not know how long the Cover Note will last, so there is no confidence in how long the certificate will last.

Abstract

Indonesia is heavily dependent on the agricultural industry, which is one of the primary pillars of the country's economy, hence food security is very crucial. Since the majority of people work in agriculture, ensuring there is a sufficient supply of food is essential to preserving social and economic stability. Furthermore, Indonesia's geographical and cultural diversity poses particular difficulties in addressing the various dietary requirements of its many areas. In light of climate change, natural disasters, and other global issues that may have an impact on food supply, food security is also a strategic consideration. The project aims to (1) assess the degree of susceptibility of Indonesia's food system to climate change and (2) develop solutions for adaptation and mitigation that may be put into practice to enhance food security in the face of these consequences. This study provides an organized overview of food dynamics in the context of climate change and how it affects Indonesia. The literature from prestigious national and international journal articles is one of the research data sources. The findings demonstrate how difficult it is to comprehend how climate change is affecting Indonesia's food supply, which emphasizes how complicated the problems are. Farmers have put adaptation plans into place, but resource access and climate unpredictability still present obstacles. Climate change has an impact on the national economy and export-related activities. Therefore, to attain both economic stability and food security, comprehensive support and integrated policies are required. To meet the difficulties of climate change in the agricultural sector, farmers' adaptation methods, cross-sectoral cooperation, and access to climate information are essential.
