Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the engklek game media on the material organization system of life for class VII SMP Guppi Samata. This study uses research and development methods with a 4D development model, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. However, product trials to test practicality and effectiveness were not carried out due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The product is validated by 2 experts. The results of the validity analysis show that the engklek game media material for the life organization system developed has a validity level based on the assessment of experts, which is 3.23 and is included in the valid category so it is feasible to use. This research implies that the engklek game media deserves to be used as a learning medium, especially in the material of life organization systems, to further researchers, it should be able to produce better learning media products

Abstract

Students' learning motivation is the driving force they have and provides energy to carry out learning activities so that the continuity of learning can be directed and the desired goals can be realized. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning motivation of students in class XI IPA SMAN in the Sinjai Regency. This type of research is a descriptive survey with a population of 1267 students and a sample of 616 students taken by cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used is a student learning motivation questionnaire that has met the valid and reliable criteria with the measured aspects being diligent in facing tasks, tenacious in facing difficulties, showing interest, and being able to defend their opinions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the learning motivation of students in class XI IPA SMAN in the Sinjai Regency there are 179 (29.1%) students in the medium category and 437 (70.9%) students in the high category. The results of the analysis indicate that the dominant learning motivation of students is in the high category which is certainly influenced by many factors.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop Augmented Reality learning media on the digestive system material for class XI SMAN 8 Soppeng, (2) determine the level of validity of Augmented Reality learning media on the digestive system material for class XI SMAN 8 Soppeng, (3) determine the level of practicality of Augmented learning media. Reality on the digestive system material for class XI SMAN 8 Soppeng, (4) knowing the effectiveness of Augmented Reality learning media on the digestive system material for class XI SMAN 8 Soppeng. The research method is research and development (R & D) with a 4-D development model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The results showed that Augmented Reality learning media on the digestive system material developed had a validity level by a material expert team and a valid design expert team, namely 3.68, the assessment of student responses and educator responses, the practicality level was in the practical category with an average total score of 3.64. The test of student learning outcomes using Augmented Reality learning media is categorized as effective because it reaches 100%. So that Augmented Reality learning media is feasible to use because it has met the valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

Learning media is needed in the learning process and also in practicum activities. This research aimed to determine the validity of the learning practicum smart falling ball media in the respiratory system materials of class XI MA Negeri 2 Sinjai. This four-D research and development study consisted of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The research instrument used was the validation sheet. The results showed that the media was very valid, with an average score of 3.82. It implies that the learning practicum for smart falling ball media can continue in the field trial process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop handout learning media, determine the level of validity, practicality level, and the level of effectiveness of the media. By referring to the Research and Development (R&D) approach with a 4-D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The product developed is in the form of handout learning media based on local potential ecosystem materials that are tested through validity, practicality and effectiveness tests. The research subjects are 10th grade students of SMAN 14 Jeneponto 2020/2021. The research instrument used was a teacher response questionnaire and a student response questionnaire to obtain practicality data, and test questions to obtain the level of effectiveness. The results showed that the handout learning media based on local potential of ecosystem materials had a validity level of 3.72 by material experts and design experts, then the practicality level was in the very positive category with an average value of 3.53. The level of effectiveness as a test of student learning outcomes is categorized as effective because it reaches 100%. so that the local potential-based Handout learning media is feasible to use because it meets the valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a learning image puzzle media on human motion system materials in MTs Pesantren Laut Perak that was valid, practical, and effective. This four-D research and development study consist of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The subject of this study was 11 students from class VIII MTs Pesantren Laut Perak Pangkep Regency. The instruments used were the validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed the practicality of the media was in a very valid category, with an average value of 3.93. The practicality level of the media was in the practical category, with an average response value of educators and learners of 3.42. The effectiveness of the media was in the category of very effective, with an average completion rate of 85.45%. It appears that the learning media for human motion system material images in MTs Pesantren Perak Pangkep Regency has met valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the learning outcomes of students using the EPA learning method, (2) find out the learning outcomes of students using conventional methods, (3) and find out the influence of the application of the EPA learning method on student learning outcomes. This type of research is a pseudo-experiment and research design using nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was 61 students from all students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Datarang. The study sample was 21 students of class VIII A and 21 students of class VIII B who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used to measure learning outcomes is a learning outcomes test in the form of a multiple choice test of 15 numbers. Data analysis techniques use descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. The results showed that students in the experimental class had an average learning outcome of 79.61, while in the control class it was 59.5. The t-test results obtained a sign value for learning outcomes of 0.000, this value shows that the sign < α = 0.000 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, and the experimental class using the EPA method is better than the control class using conventional methods.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an android-based Islamic science integrated biology e-module, find out the level of validity of the e-module and find out the level of practicality of the android-based Islamic science integrated biology e-module in class X MAN 3 Makassar. This research includes research and development which refers to the 4-D development model, which includes four stages, namely preparation (define), design (design), development (develop), and dissemination (disseminate). The subjects of this study were 25 students of class X MIPA I, the instruments used were expert validation sheets, educator response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the expert validator assessment, the level of validity of the android-based Islamic science integrated biology e-module is 3.30 (2.5 ≤ M ≤ 3.5), and is included in the valid category. The results of the assessment of the responses of educators and students showed a value of the practicality level of the e-module of 3.50 (Xi = 3.5), and belonged to the category of very practical.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Surprise Box learning media on the reproductive system material of class IX SMPN Satap Katumbangan. This research and development (R & D) referred to a 4-D development model consisting of four stages; define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were 13 students in class IX of SMPN Satap Katumbangan. The instruments in this study were literacy sheets, validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The media validation result is 3.8, which puts it in the "very valid" category. The assessment of responses through questionnaires of 91.25% is in the "very practical" category, and the student learning outcomes test is in the "effective" category because 100% of student learning outcomes were complete. This study implies that the Surprise Box learning media can make learning more effective, especially in reproductive system materials.

Abstract

This study focused on students' learning outcomes from SMAN 2 in Bulukumba, who taught with magic cards media and twister games media, and the differences between the two. This quasi-experimental research has a pretest-posttest control group design. The test instrument used in this study consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions. The results showed that students who taught using magic card media were in the high category (57.14%) and very high category (42.86%). The students who taught using the twister game media were in the medium category (8.70%), high (56.52%), and very high (34.78%). According to the independent sample t-test, there was a significant level of 0.089 > 0.05. This indicates that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between learners who taught using magic cards and learners who taught using game twister media.
