Abstract

Community service at Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional General Hospital from August 14 to August 26, 2023 aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of inputting outpatient data. This activity focused on socialization to health workers to better understand the constraints in the Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional General Hospital Management System Application. The results of observations and interviews showed several factors causing the problem. First, the number of coder personnel has not met the standard, causing data entry to be not optimal. Second, SOPs related to inputting outpatient data need to be more specific so that the process is more uniform. The literature study also shows the need for integration of information management systems to facilitate staff, but there is a gap between INA-CBGs and SIMRS at Raja Ahmad Tabib Hospital. Another problem is related to the incomplete medical record files of BPJS patients, where accident information is less specific. Emergency department assessments and history taking also did not always reflect the details of the accident. Financial constraints are the main obstacle, limiting the addition of personnel and updating the information management system which still uses a desktop. With limited budgets, resolving issues related to staffing, methods, and system integration is difficult. Special attention is needed to ensure that outpatient information management becomes more efficient and accurate.

Abstract

The Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is a government health promotion program aimed at enhancing community self-reliance in maintaining and improving health. CHLB at the household level strives to empower members to be conscious, willing, and capable of adopting clean and healthy living behaviors to preserve and enhance their health. This initiative not only prevents the risk of diseases but also shields individuals from health threats while actively participating in the broader public health movement. The Clean and Healthy Living pattern should commence at the household level, recognizing that a healthy household serves as a developmental asset for the future that requires safeguarding. Given the susceptibility of certain household members to both infectious and non-infectious diseases, it becomes imperative for households to adhere to Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (CHLB) to mitigate these risks effectively. This study underscores the importance of integrating CHLB into daily household routines to foster a healthier community and contribute to long-term societal development.

Abstract

The presence of Women's Cooperatives in Indonesia holds significant importance, despite the limited number of large-scale Women's Cooperatives. These cooperatives play a crucial role in supporting the government's efforts to address national challenges such as unemployment reduction, enhanced health outcomes, improved education, and the resolution of gender-related issues. Analysis of the objectives of this initiative reveals two primary issues: 1) Women's Cooperatives heavily rely on savings and loan business units, leading to elevated levels of bad credit in the women's cooperatives of Blitar Regency; 2) Administrators of women's cooperatives struggle to diversify their businesses beyond savings and loans. The initiative commences with preliminary activities, involving a literature review followed by field research utilizing secondary data. Subsequently, a focus group discussion (FGD) is conducted to assess the actual conditions of women's cooperatives in the field, engaging with the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Department. Through mentoring endeavors, the aim is to reinforce cooperative management, enabling the development of diversified business ventures beyond savings and loans. This is to be achieved through improved financial planning and activities. Additionally, the initiative aspires to instill in management a comprehensive understanding of business risk management.

Abstract

The cottage boarding school serves as an Islamic educational institution focused on studying, comprehending, deepening, appreciating, and practicing the teachings of Islam, placing particular emphasis on instilling religious morals as daily behavioral guidelines. Moreover, these Islamic boarding schools, in their role as agents of change, not only contribute to religious and societal education but also actively participate in societal development and social transformation. Recognizing the pivotal role of cottage Islamic boarding schools in the community, especially in economic development, this study proposes the reinforcement of Islamic boarding school cooperatives (Kopontren) as economic driving forces within their environments. Initial observations highlight two key challenges: 1) Manual financial reporting based on outdated methods without utilizing SAK ETAP guidelines, and 2) The lack of financial performance analysis by Kopontren managers. The research commences with an introductory phase involving a literature review, followed by an in-depth exploration through secondary data analysis. Subsequently, an internal focus group discussion (FGD) is organized to gain insights into the actual cooperative conditions of cottage boarding schools. This FGD engages with the Department of Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). To ensure the seamless progress of the activities, the execution team will coordinate with the District Cooperatives and MSMEs Service in Blitar, serving as a governmental institution officially supporting the establishment of cooperative cottage boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to empower the community to detect mental disorders early in their environment. Through counseling and training, it will provide knowledge to the community about the early signs of mental disorders and how to identify them. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The focus of this study is community empowerment for mental health education. In this research, the location chosen is Kleak Village in Malalayang sub-district, Manado City, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Community empowerment for mental health education in Kleak Village, Manado City, emphasizes a holistic approach with a focus on mental health education, active community participation, self-help, networking, and advocacy. Mental disorders are closely related to mental health, including conditions such as anxiety, bipolar, depression, eating disorders, delusions, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders. Causal factors involve family issues, genetics, drugs, and stress. The healing process varies depending on the patient's condition, involving consultation with a psychiatrist and admission to a psychiatric hospital. The role of the family is very important in the treatment of patients with mental disorders, supported by health workers such as doctors and psychiatric nurses. Mental health socialization in the community is needed to increase understanding of mental health disorders. Prevention involves regular medication, increased spirituality, quality mental health services, and community understanding. The government is expected to pay serious attention by providing facilities such as mental hospitals and increasing health programs that support mental health control both in agencies and at the community level.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to help business owners have knowledge about the management of trade receivables, so that business owners can maintain the availability of cash for operational purposes. The partner chosen in the PKM activity is a packaged seasoning business under the Sasia brand. Sasia MSMEs are domiciled in Tangerang city, Banten Province. Based on initial observations to partners conducted by coming directly to meet with business owners, the main problem lies in the management of trade receivables, especially with the business to business (B2B) customer payment system which buys more goods in installments and not cash. The method offered in the activity is training/socialization on managing trade receivables offline. Through this activity, it is hoped that the accounts receivable problems that arise in the seasoning business will be resolved, and partners can maintain and manage their accounts receivable appropriately. Thus, it is hoped that in the future it will be useful in maintaining the availability of business cash needed by a business.

Abstract

The science of pinched nerves is a very important topic, especially for the general public and parents. However, it should be noted that teenagers can also experience this condition. A pinched nerve occurs when a nerve is compressed by surrounding tissues or structures, which can lead to symptoms such as pain, numbness and paralysis. This article discusses the mechanism by which pinched nerves occur, highlights the risk factors that play a role, and reviews diagnostic and treatment methods. In this context, further research into the prevention and treatment of pinched nerves is crucial to improve the quality of life of patients and reduce their impact on human health. Researchers focused on community outreach as a strategy to disseminate information and knowledge about pinched nerves. This counseling aims to provide the community with a deeper understanding of the symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures that can be taken. Through this research, it is hoped that a more effective solution can be found in the prevention and treatment of pinched nerves, so as to reduce the incidence of cases and increase public understanding of the importance of maintaining nerve health. Thus, this article makes a positive contribution to disease prevention efforts and improving the overall welfare of the community.
