Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technology is increasingly sophisticated and developing very quickly, influencing the way humans live, both from a cognitive and action perspective. As part of technological advances, gadgets have become contemporary communication tools that greatly influence everyday life. In the last two years, the use of these devices has increased rapidly in Indonesia. Gadgets are increasingly in demand, especially by children because of the easy access to information and entertainment they offer. However, excessive use of gadgets can interfere with intelligence, especially in children who are introduced to gadgets at an early age. The aim of this research is to overcome electronic device addiction in children through the use of art activities such as folding paper lanterns. This research used a pre-experimental design, one group pre-test-post-test. This allows comparison of conditions before and after treatment. The research subjects were ten students of Kindergarten Kartika 157 Bukittinggi, who were selected using a saturated sampling technique.

Abstract

Islamic education combines spiritual aspects with mastery of science and technology, including mathematics subjects. It is hoped that the integration of Islamic values ​​in mathematics learning can create a balance between religious knowledge and general knowledge, in accordance with the principle that learning is worship and seeking knowledge is an obligation. This research aims to evaluate students' perceptions of mathematics questions integrated with Islamic values ​​at MTS N 4 Pasaman, West Sumatra. The research method used is a qualitative method approach. The research results showed that the majority of students showed a positive interest in learning mathematics integrated with Islam, with 83.3% stating they were happy or very happy with this lesson. Students also show a high level of motivation, where 83.4% of them are enthusiastic about studying integrated mathematics. The integration of Islamic values ​​also provides a positive experience in understanding Islam through a mathematical context, with 90% of students feeling they have gained new insight into religious values. This positive response reflects that this approach not only improves students' academic understanding but also forms a positive and sustainable learning attitude. This research has important implications for the development of a more holistic curriculum in schools, where religious values ​​are not only introduced as theory but also integrated into practical learning such as mathematics. Thus, the integration of Islamic values ​​in mathematics learning can enrich students' learning experiences and support comprehensive educational goals in developing character and spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

Two major determinants of the caliber of teacher performance are education and work experience. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how work experience, educational background, and the caliber of teaching performance are related to one other. The study's findings demonstrate that a teacher's effectiveness is significantly improved by having a high degree of education and a lot of professional experience. Work ability acts as a mediator between the considerable effects of work experience and educational background on teacher performance. Additionally, work motivation, views of the workplace, and teaching abilities all have a big impact on teachers' effectiveness.Keywords : Administration, Role of Teachers, Education. According to the study's findings, educators with advanced degrees and a wealth of professional experience are better able to instruct students and foster higher performance. This study has applications for creating more efficient curricula and boosting teacher motivation at work, both of which will raise educational standards.

Abstract

This research aims to classify the learning interest in mathematics subjects of grade 4 students at SD Negeri Kebalen 04 Semarang. This research uses descriptive and quntitative analysis. The respondents in this study were 17 fourth grade students. The method used to determine interest in learning mathematics during the learning process is by collecting data through questionnaires, interviews with teachers and students, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, interest in learning mathematics in class IVB students at SD Negri Kebalen 04 Bekasi was 82.4%, classified as a very high standard of interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Brand Image and School Fees on Student Decisions at Fatima 2 Catholic High School in Sarudik, Central Tapanuli. This type of research is quantitative research using SPSS'22 testing media. The population in this study is based on the number of T.A 2023/2024 students totaling 184 students. This study uses probability sampling techniques; simple random sampling and using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% to obtain a sample of 65 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used in this study, researchers used multiple regression analysis and the coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results of the study, it show that there is a positive and significant influence on students' school decisions at Fatima 2 Catholic High School in Sarudi, Central Tapanuli. School fees have a positive and significant effect on student decisions at Fatima 2 Catholic High School in Sarudi, Central Tapanuli. Brand Image and school fees simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on student school decisions at Fatima 2 Catholic High School in Sarudi, Central Tapanuli.

Abstract

Multicultural is a word that is often used to describe cultural diversity. The interactions between guidance and counseling teachers and students are characterized by multicultural phenomena caused by various factors such as different cultural backgrounds, social and cultural changes, and globalization. This can lead to challenges such as miscommunication, stereotyping, and discomfort, but it also brings benefits such as opportunities for learning, mutual respect, and the development of multicultural counseling skills. Guidance and guidance teachers need to have adequate knowledge and skills to deal with this phenomenon and build trust with students from various cultures. The purpose of this research is to determine the trust challenges faced by guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with students who have different cultural backgrounds using a literature review study with qualitative methods through interviews and observations with guidance and counseling teachers at SMPN 2 Bandung. By increasing intercultural awareness and communication skills, guidance and counseling teachers can build stronger relationships with students and provide more effective student learning.

Abstract

The collaboration between guidance and counseling (BK) teachers and psychologists in addressing student issues is crucial for enhancing student well-being and academic achievement. This article explains the importance of this collaboration in supporting the psychosocial and academic development of students. BK teachers provide guidance and counseling support within the educational environment, while psychologists offer specialized knowledge in understanding and addressing psychological issues. Through the integration of knowledge and skills from both professions, educational services can become more holistic and effective in addressing various challenges faced by students. This collaboration ensures that students receive appropriate interventions, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and develop academically, emotionally, and socially. The roles of teachers and psychologists influencing this collaboration, as well as its benefits for students, teachers, and schools, are also discussed in this article. By understanding the importance of this collaboration, a more inclusive and supportive learning environment can be created for the optimal growth and development of students.

Abstract

Arabic speaking skills involve the ability to communicate orally in Arabic accurately, clearly and effectively. Arabic speaking skills include the ability to understand and use vocabulary, grammar and appropriate intonation in speaking. As happened at MA Khas Kempek to improve Arabic language skills. This research aims to determine (1) the application of the muhadatsah method in Arabic speaking skills at MA Khas Kempek (2) the application of pocket book media in Arabic speaking skills at MA Khas Kempek (3) the use of the muhadatsah method with pocket book media in improving speaking skills Arabic at MA Khas Kempek. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this research was interviews with 4 respondents. The research results revealed that (1) The application of pocket book media is used to make it easier for students to memorize and master Arabic vocabulary. The pocket book media used at MA Khas Kempek is in the form of an application that can be accessed on a cellphone or computer. (2) The use of the muhadatsah method with pocket book media in improving Arabic speaking skills really helps students, helps students so that students can speak Arabic with the correct structure and students can master Arabic vocabulary and memorize a lot of vocabulary as well.

Abstract

K-POP (Korean K-POP) is a southern populer music Korea that is very popular around the world, including Indonesia. Its fans come from all walks of life, including high school students such as those at SMA Swasta Primbana Medan. Usually, K-pop fans, especially teenagers, tend to be fanatical fans who imitate the behaviour of their idols. This study aims to examine the influence of K-Pop South Korea behaviour of its fans, especially students of SMA Swasta Primbana Medan. This study uses a qualitative approach method that focuses on observations, questionnaires, and documented descriptive data. According to the results of this study, the influence of K-POP fever on student behavior can be devided into two types: positive and negative. Positive advantages include a wide range of knowledge, a strong desire to learn, mastering foreign languages, a wide network of friends, high creativity, good cooperation with others fans, and saving habits. The negative impact is that teenagers tend to buy K-Pop idol merchandise, such as albums, posters, and clothes. They often spend time in fantasies, lose concentration on education, often stay up late, prefer to interact in cyberspace, have many enemies, and are very obsessed with their idols. This research shows that K-Pop fever has a significant influence on teenagers' lifestyle and consumption. Education and assistance from parents and teachers are needed so that teenagers can enjoy K-Pop wisely and responsibly.

Abstract

The guidance also counseling teacher is one of the important components in education, but some of the other components in education consider the guidance and counseling teacher important but some consider it not important, therefore the purpose of this study is to explore and understand the perceptions of teachers also students regarding the role of guidance also counseling in the context of education. This study used the Systematic Literature Review method to identify, review, evaluate, also interpret all available research. This researcher systematically reviewed and identified journals by following established procedures. The articles reviewed are in accordance with the topic, namely the perceptions of teachers also students regarding the role of counseling teachers. The results of this study will provide valuable knowledge for policy makers, educational practitioners, and researchers to improve also optimize the role of guidance also counseling in creating an educational environment that supports holistic student growth and development. Further research could explore more effective strategies to address the identified challenges also improve the accessibility also quality of guidance and counseling services in different educational contexts.
