Abstract

The role of the community in empowering tourist villages means having similar thought patterns and patterns of action from rural communities regarding the potential that exists in their villages. Saung Biru is one of the tourist attractions located in Kaduengang, Cadasari District, Pandeglang, Saung Biru is one of the agro-tourism that prioritizes the concept of local community empowerment. This study aims to explore the role of the Kaduengang community in empowering Saung Biru Agrotourism, both in terms of management and its impact on their economic and social welfare. The role of the community in community empowerment activities in Kaduengang Village. Community empowerment activities are considered as a business learning process through the process of evaluating everything that has been achieved in the implementation of the business, as well as studying the various obstacles faced.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of religious activities in instilling religious character in Kesaud Village, Serang City. Religious character consists of attitudes, motivations, and skills that are influenced by religious values and teachings. Through activities such as recitation, congregational prayers, and reading dalail khoirat, the community is invited to increase faith and form behaviors that reflect religious teachings. However, there are several obstacles in the implementation of these activities, such as the lack of educators and budget limitations. This has resulted in a decline in community participation in religious activities. To overcome these challenges, changes in the management of the organization and the mindset of the community are needed. This article also highlights the importance of youth organizations, such as RISMA, in attracting people to participate in religious activities. Thus, it is hoped that religious characters can be well embedded in the daily lives of the people of Kesaud Village.

Abstract

Responsive public service is an essential indicator of government governance quality. This study evaluates the quality of the Sambat Rene Ker application using the SERVQUAL theory (Parasuraman, Zeithaml, Berry, 1990) through five dimensions. Using a qualitative approach, data were obtained from interviews, observations, and community complaint documentation. The analysis indicates that the reliability dimension is fairly good but hindered by server stability issues (20% deficiency). The physical evidence dimension shows a simple interface, but access speed and professionalism require improvement (15%). Responsiveness is adequate for initial responses, but follow-ups are often slow and lack transparency (25%). Assurance demonstrates good security, but insufficient progress notifications reduce trust. In conclusion, this application positively supports public services in Malang but requires improvements in infrastructure, coordination, and outreach to enhance responsiveness. This research is relevant for evaluating policies and innovations in technology-based services.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role and perspective of Generation Z in addressing global humanitarian issues, particularly related to natural disasters and armed conflicts. In the context of increasingly complex global dynamics, Generation Z exhibits unique characteristics, such as high digital connectivity and significant social sensitivity. The findings indicate that this generation not only responds to humanitarian crises through digital initiatives but also acts as active agents of change. However, they face challenges, including limited access to resources and skepticism from previous generations. This research recommends further collaboration between Generation Z and various stakeholders, as well as enhanced education and training to strengthen their response to humanitarian crises.

Abstract

The aim of this author is to discuss the importance of implementing Christian character in maintaining the morality and holiness of life as a civilized human being. This research applies a literature study method where the review is carried out descriptively with supporting material obtained from various literature and the discussion focuses on the author's topic related to the implementation of Christian character in social life. Data was collected from various scientific literature and analyzed reductively which describes the results of the discussion that the implementation of Christian character plays a very important role in maintaining the sanctity of life as a civilized human being which should be implemented from an early age in the current millennial era. It is very important to implement Christian character education, because the teaching is not only limited to understanding theories, but also requires implementing them in the practice of moral behavior and maintaining a holy lifestyle as a long-term investment for the nation and state. As Christians who live in the plurality of the Indonesian nation, we must make Christ a reflection in our behavior, namely the ability to control ourselves and not compromise with sin because Christian values ​​teach that every person needs to realize that this body is God's temple, so that they take the initiative to make themselves a good example. right through the right way of life, words, behavior, social relations, spirituality so that people around them can feel the goodness of the existence of Christians as obedient followers of Christ.

Abstract

The country of Indonesia is blessed with great natural wealth so that every citizen should be able to enjoy prosperity, but the facts show that there are still many members of society who are detected as still living below the poverty line. The main objective is to review the significance of Pancasila values ​​in the fifth principle for justice and social welfare. The method used in this research is a literature study with a descriptive analytical approach, the results of which reveal that even though Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state emphasizes the importance of social justice, the practice of social justice in the field still faces various significant challenges. This research reveals that there is striking inequality in various aspects of people's lives, including access to the economy, education, health and infrastructure. Even though various policies have been implemented, the results often do not meet expectations, resulting in inequality that continues to widen. Therefore, more inclusive and sustainable policy reforms are needed to overcome social injustice. Some concrete steps that can be taken include fair economic redistribution, increasing access to education and health services, and equitable infrastructure development. All of these efforts must be carried out by involving community participation to ensure that the policies implemented truly reflect the needs and aspirations of all levels of society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of school facilities on students' learning interest at SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews and observations. The research respondents consist of 10 students from grades XI and XII, as well as one school principal. The results indicate that adequate facilities, such as comfortable classrooms, complete laboratories, and sufficient libraries, have a positive influence on students' learning interest. Supportive facilities enhance students' motivation and comfort during the learning process. This study also highlights the importance of teacher support and parental involvement in boosting students' learning interest. Based on the results and discussions, it can be concluded that school facilities significantly impact students' learning interest at SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere. Comfortable and complete facilities can enhance students' motivation and satisfaction, although there are still complaints regarding the fulfillment of needs and inadequate maintenance of facilities. Additionally, limited extracurricular activities focused on one type can make students feel compelled, indicating a need for variety in activity options. While facilities play an important role, support from teachers and parental involvement are also crucial in enhancing learning interest. Therefore, the school is advised to pay attention to improving facilities as well as other aspects that support a holistic learning experience for students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social comparison on body dissatisfaction among female adolescents who use Instagram. Social comparison refers to the process in which individuals compare themselves to others in terms of physical appearance, while body dissatisfaction refers to the feeling of being unhappy with one’s body or physical appearance. This study used a quantitative method with a survey involving 385 female adolescents aged 18-22 who actively use Instagram. Data were collected using validated scales for body dissatisfaction and social comparison. Regression analysis results showed a significant relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction, with an F-value of 4.378 and a significance of 0.037. The R-Square value of 0.011 indicates that social comparison explains only 11% of the variance in body dissatisfaction. These results suggest that the more frequently adolescents engage in social comparison on Instagram, the higher their levels of body dissatisfaction. Therefore, the use of social media, especially Instagram, can exacerbate negative body perceptions among female adolescents, ultimately having a detrimental impact on mental health. Interventions are needed to reduce harmful social comparisons and promote self-acceptance.

Abstract

The community empowerment program for sugar palm farmers in Dusun Batu Delapan through the CSR program Meghgek Betuah of PT Pertamina aims to enhance farmers' production capacity. However, challenges related to limited land and raw materials have hindered the sustainability of this program. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Meghgek Betuah program in Batu Delapan. The research method employed is a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation.The findings indicate that the program has not been optimal in increasing sugar palm production. Among the four aspects of community empowerment proposed by Robert Chambers (people-centered, participation, empowerment, and sustainability), only the sustainability aspect has not been fully achieved. The limited availability of raw materials and land has prevented farmers from significantly increasing production. The other three aspects—people-centered, participation, and empowerment—have been met, as evidenced by the implementation of training, active participation of farmers, and the application of training outcomes in the farmers' daily activities. Overall, while the program has succeeded in certain aspects, sustainability remains a key challenge in improving sugar palm production in Batu Delapan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the time token learning model on students' interests and learning outcomes in social studies class VIII SMPN 1 Srengat Blitar. This study uses a quantitative approach of the quasi-experimental design type with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study consisted of 32 control class students and 32 experimental class students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data in this study were collected through a learning interest questionnaire and learning outcome test which were then analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test and MANOVA. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the time token learning model has an effect on students' interests and learning outcomes as evidenced by the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05. The implications of this study show that the use of the time token learning model can increase student participation. The increased student participation will improve student learning outcomes to be better.
