Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and waiting time on patient loyalty at the Emergency Department (ED), with patient satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative method was employed using a survey approach with questionnaires distributed to 100 patients who had visited the ED more than twice. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach via SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that service quality has a significant positive effect on patient satisfaction and loyalty, while waiting time has a significant negative effect. Additionally, patient satisfaction is proven to be a mediating variable between service quality and waiting time on patient loyalty. These findings suggest that improving service quality and reducing delays can enhance student satisfaction and loyalty in educational settings. Educational leaders can apply these insights to streamline administrative processes, prioritize student needs, and foster a supportive learning environment, ultimately improving student retention and academic outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the utilization of the website as a digital marketing strategy at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, focusing on three main aspects: the effectiveness of website utilization, the features and content provided, and the challenges and obstacles encountered during its implementation. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants in this study include the principal, website administrators, social media managers (Instagram and Facebook), teachers, staff, and parents. The data analysis process consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the school website is quite effective as a promotional tool and information dissemination platform, especially in supporting the student admission process (PPDB). The website includes various features such as registration information, school profile, activity news, and photo galleries. Challenges in its implementation include limited human resources with digital technology expertise, lack of training, infrastructure limitations, and weak integration between work units in managing the school’s digital media. Nevertheless, the website holds significant potential to support the school’s digital marketing strategy, provided it is supported by strengthened human resources, improved infrastructure, and more comprehensive content strategy planning.

Abstract

Developing teachers’ information and communication technology (ICT) competence requires strategic leadership at the school level. This study explores the principal’s strategies for enhancing ICT competence among rural public junior high school teachers. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation at school. The findings reveal that most teachers demonstrate basic to intermediate ICT skills, with tools such as PowerPoint and LCD projectors being the most common. Supporting factors include the availability of ICT facilities, regular training, strong principal leadership, peer collaboration, and partnerships with the Education Office. However, limited funding, unstable internet, low teacher confidence, and heavy workloads hinder progress. The principal’s strategic responses include organizing training programs, involving teachers in external technical guidance, optimizing existing ICT tools, promoting peer learning through MGMP forums, and providing recognition to innovative teachers. This study contributes to the discourse on digital leadership and teacher capacity-building in resource-constrained contexts.

Abstract

Early childhood is a critical stage for character formation and socio-emotional development, making children vulnerable to deviant behaviors such as verbal bullying. This study aims to identify and analyze teacher management strategies in Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD) to prevent verbal bullying in the classroom through Islamic values. This research employed a qualitative phenomenological design, using in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation with PIAUD teachers experienced in handling verbal bullying. The findings reveal three main strategies: internalizing Islamic values through storytelling and routine practices; humanistic classroom management based on compassion and positive communication; and active collaboration with parents and school institutions. These strategies effectively raise children’s verbal awareness, build social leadership, and reduce verbal bullying behavior across genders. The study concludes that value-based teacher management is a constructive and preventive approach to fostering a safe, inclusive, and character-driven learning environment. These findings have practical implications for developing teacher training programs and Islamic early childhood education policies grounded in moral and spiritual values.

This study aims to examine the role of PR management in bullying prevention at SMP PGRI 9 Sidoarjo by applying core management functions, namely planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that PR serves not only as an information disseminator but also as a program strategist and institutional bridge between internal stakeholders and the community. In the planning stage, PR identifies problems and designs bullying prevention initiatives to strengthen the school’s public image. In the organizing phase, PR coordinates structured teams such as the Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK). Actuating ensures the implementation of activities, including parental engagement and student outreach. Meanwhile, the controlling phase monitors and evaluates program effectiveness. This study contributes to the discourse on educational communication and safety, emphasizing the strategic significance of professional PR management in shaping a trustworthy and responsive school identity.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply explore the influence of transformational leadership practiced by the school principal on the development of a learning culture and the reinforcement of teachers’ learning motivation at SMAN 112 Jakarta. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research provides a contextualized understanding of educational leadership dynamics at the secondary school level. Data were collected through a triangulation strategy comprising in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and institutional document analysis, involving the principal, vice principals, and teaching staff. Data analysis was conducted interactively through systematic and iterative processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal that the principal optimally implements all dimensions of transformational leadership, including idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. These leadership practices have successfully fostered a teacher learning culture that is collaborative, reflective, innovative, and oriented toward ongoing professional development. Teachers demonstrated a high degree of enthusiasm in enhancing their competencies, sharing best practices, and initiating instructional innovations. The study affirms that transformational leadership constitutes a critical variable contributing to the improvement of instructional quality and the strengthening of teachers’ professional capacities. The practical implications of this study offer strategic recommendations for developing effective educational leadership models within secondary education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy, self-efficacy, and the social environment on the entrepreneurial intentions of Generation Z in coastal areas. Using a quantitative approach with random sampling, this research involved Generation Z respondents from coastal regions. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS to examine the relationships between the variables. The findings indicate that digital literacy has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention, suggesting that a better understanding of digital tools and business trends in the digital era opens opportunities for entrepreneurship among coastal youth. Furthermore, self-efficacy was found to significantly enhance entrepreneurial intention, with higher self-confidence fostering stronger entrepreneurial motivations. However, the social environment was found to have an insignificant negative effect on entrepreneurial intention, indicating that despite support from family, peers, and organizations, the environment does not significantly influence entrepreneurship. In conclusion, digital literacy and self-efficacy both positively impact entrepreneurial intention, while the social environment does not play a significant role in shaping these intentions.

Abstract

In the face of increasingly complex social changes, Islamic educational institutions are required to have policies that are adaptive and relevant to the evolving dynamics of society. Pesantren, as a traditional institution, faces a significant challenge in upholding Islamic values while addressing contemporary issues such as moral crises, digital disruptions, and cultural diversity. This study aims to examine Islamic education policies in response to social change in schools, with an emphasis on the policy of forming socio-spiritual character and value integration strategies in the curriculum, as well as the institutional challenges faced. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study show that this school implements progressive and responsive education policies by integrating Islamic values into contextual programs.
