Abstract

The increasing severity of environmental damage highlights the necessity for youth to act as key change-makers in fostering awareness about conservation through environmental education. This research focuses on exploring how young people, as a generation mindful of environmental issues, can enhance awareness of conservation through environmental education. Utilizing a qualitative methodology and a literature review approach, this study gathers information from a variety of pertinent sources. Findings reveal that environmental education is crucial in boosting young people's awareness and understanding of the need for environmental preservation and conservation efforts. For this to be effective, the education must be thorough and continuous, enabling youth to take an active role as educators and promoters of the importance of environmental conservation, as well as leading figures in conservation initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the factors influencing the consumer dilemma of Tadris IPS students at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon in choosing environmentally friendly products. Employing an observational method using interviews and an Islamic economics framework, data was collected through in-depth interviews with 5 students. The results indicate that the most significant factors influencing consumer dilemma are price, product availability, and personal values. Islamic economic principles, such as tawhid (unity of God), khilafah (stewardship), and adl (justice), were found to moderate the relationship between these factors and the environmental dilemma. The study concludes that addressing the environmental dilemma requires a holistic approach that considers consumer behavior, product availability, and Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an electric vehicle conversion kit module as a vocational learning tool at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes the design, production, and trial phases of the module. Evaluation was conducted through concept comprehension tests and practical skill assessments before and after using the module. The results indicate that the electric vehicle conversion kit module significantly enhances students' understanding and skills related to Electric Motorized Vehicles (KBL) technology. Furthermore, the study's findings were published in a national ISSN journal and mass media. As an additional output, a copyright for the module was obtained, demonstrating its innovative contribution to vocational education and electric vehicle technology.

Abstract

Technological innovation in entrepreneurship is increasingly playing an important role in building a sustainable business ecosystem. This research aims to explore the impact of digital entrepreneurship training on business sustainability, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of related documents. Purposive sampling techniques are used to ensure that respondents have relevant experience in the application of digital technology in their business. The results of the study show that digital entrepreneurship training contributes significantly to increasing digital literacy, expanding market reach, and accelerating technology adoption among entrepreneurs. In addition, the sustainability of MSME businesses is greatly influenced by support from the government, the private sector, and educational institutions, especially in terms of providing technological infrastructure, access to continuous training, and business assistance. As a recommendation, this study emphasizes the importance of developing a digital entrepreneurship training curriculum that is more adaptive and based on the specific needs of entrepreneurs. In addition, expanding access to this training is a strategic step to ensure that more MSMEs can make optimal use of technology. Thus, technological innovation in entrepreneurship is expected to continue to develop and have a positive impact on sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The Rashdul Kiblat practice assistance program at the Al-Anwar Mushalla in Leranwetan Village, Palang Subdistrict, Tuban Regency aims to improve the community's understanding and skills in determining the correct Qibla direction according to the Rashdul Kiblat method. This program is implemented through a series of activities, including socialization, practical training, and direct assistance at the mushalla. Using a participatory approach, residents are provided with knowledge about the importance of accurate Qibla direction in worship, and are trained to use the Rashdul Kiblat method with simple tools that are easy to practice. The expected outcome of this activity is an increased understanding and accuracy in determining the Qibla direction within the community, as well as empowering residents to independently apply and teach this knowledge. This program also aims to strengthen social ties within the community and ensure the sustainability of the practices that have been applied. Overall, this activity has a significant positive impact on the quality of the community’s worship and independence in determining the Qibla direction accurately and precisely.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting teaching effectiveness and easing teachers' workload through the Smart Teaching: AI Solutions to Ease the Burden of Teachers training program. This activity was carried out in the form of a webinar organized by Ciputra University (UC) Informatics Online on January 23, 2025. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive study with an applied experiment approach, where webinar participants are introduced to various AI tools and directly practice their use in making lesson plans and developing AI-based teaching materials. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills related to the application of AI in teaching. A total of 92% of participants reported that they felt more prepared to integrate AI in the learning process, while 87% stated that the material provided was very relevant and applicable. The publication of research results is carried out through national journals with ISSN and mass media to expand the impact of this program. Additional outputs from this study include copyright-related training modules as evidence of innovative contributions in technology-based education. This study confirms that the use of AI in teaching can be an effective solution in easing the burden on teachers while improving the quality of education. Therefore, the sustainable development of AI-based training programs is recommended to support digital transformation in the world of education.

Abstract

This study employs a qualitative approach using action research methodology to optimize the language skills of children aged 4-5 years through a storytelling training program and interactive language games as a creative literacy strategy at RA Nurul Huda Semarang. The research subjects consisted of 23 students aged 4-5 years, along with teachers and parents who were directly involved in the program implementation. The findings indicate that storytelling and interactive language games significantly enhance children's language skills, including vocabulary mastery, fluency in speaking, comprehension of sentence structures, and confidence in expressing ideas verbally. This method also creates a more enjoyable learning environment and fosters the development of children's creativity and imagination in communication. Furthermore, the training program positively impacts teachers’ teaching strategies, making them more interactive, and increases parental involvement in supporting creative literacy at home. Thus, this study confirms that the storytelling approach and interactive language games are effective strategies for improving early childhood language skills. This program can be more widely implemented as a strategic effort to build a strong literacy foundation, fostering a generation that is more communicative, creative, and confident in using language as a tool for thinking and interacting.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of religious activities at Qur’an Islamic Boarding School Markaz Imam Malik, focusing on Weekly Taklim and Tajwid Halaqah as platforms for student learning and character development. The method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving all elements of the pesantren in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs. The findings show that Weekly Taklim significantly enhances students' Islamic understanding, character building, and critical thinking skills through the use of sorogan, bandongan, question-and-answer, and group discussion methods. Meanwhile, the Tajwid Halaqah, using talaqqi, musyafahah, sorogan, and tikrar methods, proves effective in improving the accuracy of Qur’anic recitation and fostering students' spiritual development. Challenges include time limitations, varying student capabilities, and a lack of qualified teachers with authentic sanad. Overall, the religious activities at this pesantren play a strategic role in nurturing students who excel spiritually, intellectually, and socially.

Abstract

Qur’anic learning in Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) plays a vital role in instilling Islamic values from an early age. However, challenges such as the lack of systematic teaching methods, limited parental involvement, and weak memorization evaluation systems continue to hinder learning quality. This community service program aims to improve the quality of Qur’an education through three main approaches: socialization of the tahfidz method to parents, training and mentoring of halaqah for teachers, and structured implementation and evaluation of halaqah with students. The method applied is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which emphasizes active involvement of all stakeholders. The results show significant improvements in parental understanding and participation, teachers’ competence in managing halaqah, as well as students’ motivation and memorization achievements. This program demonstrates that the structured and collaborative application of the tahfidz method can be an effective strategy to build a more qualified and sustainable Qur’anic learning system.

Abstract

The revitalization of religious activities within communities is an essential effort in character building and strengthening social values. The Thematic Social Work Program (KKS-T) in Huyula Village, Gorontalo, serves as a strategic platform to realize this goal through community empowerment. This study aims to describe the implementation of religious activity revitalization in the KKS-T program using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. A qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach was employed, in which students of KKS-T from IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo designed and carried out the “Semarak Ramadan” program as a medium of empowerment based on local assets, positioning the community as the main actor. A series of activities—including planning, opening ceremony, children's Islamic festival, Ramadan bazaar, Huyula Awards, and closing event—created productive spaces for social and spiritual interaction. The findings show that through collaboration among students, village authorities, community leaders, and local residents, religious activities can become effective instruments in fostering spiritual awareness, social solidarity, and supporting sustainable community empowerment at the village level.
