Abstract

AI developers are currently working to ensure that the technology is used responsibly and benefits all parties. Collaboration between different fields and stakeholders is essential to create a just and sustainable AI future. The transformation of AI from a theoretical concept to a practical technology that impacts everyday life is an amazing journey. Like Fatayat NU. This organization faces several problems in implementing their activities. The problems that organizations often face can be very diverse, and usually involve various operational, strategic, and human aspects. Here are some of the problems faced: 1) Ineffective communication where information does not reach team members clearly, causing confusion or errors. 2) Lack of coordination between teams where different teams do not collaborate well, causing delays and low efficiency. 3) Difficulty in decision making where decisions are slow or less accurate due to lack of information or analysis. 4) Challenges in recruitment where the recruitment process is long and complicated, or difficulty finding the right candidate. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of female members of Fatayat NU PC Kota Tangerang in using the ChatGPT application and develop their knowledge and skills. The same goal is also to obtain publication in editorial media of journals that are not yet accredited or that have been accredited.

Abstract

Pejarakan Village, located in Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, has great potential for developing wellness tourism-based products, particularly through the utilization of eucalyptus and herbal plants. The processing of eucalyptus in this village produces waste in the form of dry leaves and distilled water that has not been optimally utilized. Through a community service program, training was conducted to turn this waste into economically valuable body scrub products that can support the wellness tourism sector. The implementation methods involved lectures, tutorials, and discussions to educate housewives and the Women's Farming Group on the techniques of processing eucalyptus leaf waste into body scrub products. The results of this activity showed an increase in the literacy and interest of the community in processing eucalyptus waste. The evaluation indicated that 90% of the participants understood and were able to produce innovative body scrubs, positively impacting the economic welfare of the local community. This program is expected to continue with efforts to develop product marketing both online and offline to expand the market reach and enhance the welfare of the Pejarakan Village community.

Abstract

Economic problems and poverty are phenomena that cannot be separated from the life of society in every country, as both are interrelated. One of the causes of poverty is the persistent culture of gender discrimination in employment, particularly affecting women. This has also led to an increase in the number of economically vulnerable women (WRSE) in Indonesia. The Indonesian Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB, 2023) defines WRSE as women of productive age (18-59 years) who face economic difficulties, have limited education, experience changes in family status or become widows due to the death of their husbands, and face health challenges. WRSE are required to manage their households while also earning a livelihood to support their families. Empowerment is necessary because the majority of these women lack employment or skills. Based on the data collected, the village of Margamulya has the highest WRSE figures in RW 02 and RW 19. In efforts to address and minimize WRSE, this research aims to provide recommendations for improving their conditions. This is a descriptive qualitative study, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using triangulation techniques to enhance the validity of the findings.

Abstract

Protection for children has become the responsibility of the state, and the protection provided is also the responsibility of families, teachers and the community to protect children so that they do not become victims of bullying which is increasingly widespread. Children who are victims of bullying certainly experience depression and even stress as well as feelings of fear and lack of confidence in facing the surrounding environment, and the impact also results in prolonged trauma and it is difficult to forget it, because the victim is someone who experiences suffering as a result of someone's actions or treatment other. Legal protection for children who are victims of bullying is to provide or implement their rights, such as the right to access medical services and assistance and also receive medical, as well as social and psychological services. As a result, by providing legal protection for children as victims of bullying, it can alleviate children's suffering in an effort to provide repressive protection so that children can return to experience recovery and good conditions as before in realizing true child protection.

Abstract

The use of home gardens for vegetable cultivation in Loa Janan Ulu Village reflects the community's efforts to develop sustainable side businesses. With limited land area in the home gardens, villagers use it efficiently to grow vegetables. This aims to meet family food needs, improve welfare, and create alternative livelihoods. Loa Janan Ulu Village, located in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, has good agricultural potential, but limited land encourages people to use home gardens as fertile fields for various types of vegetables. Cultivating vegetables in home gardens provides double benefits, namely providing a supply of fresh vegetables for daily consumption needs and generating potential additional income through the sale of the harvest. The use of organic and environmentally friendly farming methods is increasingly being implemented by the community, creating a sustainable agricultural system and maintaining the sustainability of the surrounding environment. In addition, vegetable cultivation activities in home gardens also have the potential to increase food security and reduce dependence on supplies from outside the region. With initiatives like this, the people of Loa Janan Ulu Village not only act as consumers, but also as local vegetable producers who can contribute to the development of the local economy. The local government can support this effort by providing agricultural training, access to markets, and other supporting facilities to increase the productivity and sustainability of vegetable cultivation businesses in home gardens. The delivery method used is face-to-face lectures and discussing case studies of preparing business plans in the agricultural sector by visiting the location of the farming business in managing home gardens into a place of business that has economic value directly in Loa Janan, then continued with discussions and questions and answers. The equipment used includes a laptop and a photo camera for taking documentation. The results of this community service activity are expected to increase the income of vegetable farmers and this business will continue to grow and become a business that provides the main income to farmers in Loa Janan Ulu Village, Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The results of this vegetable farming business will be sold to the local market and the demand for this vegetable production is very high because it is a complement to the staple food of the local community. With the material on developing vegetable farming businesses to utilize home gardens that has been delivered, it is hoped that PKM participants, namely vegetable farmers, will be able to manage their businesses well so that they get maximum turnover in the future.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide literacy and knowledge about Islamic banking contracts and products to the students of SMA Negeri 1 Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This activity is carried out as a form of community service by the Sharia Economics Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University. The program lasted for three days, involving seminars and interactive discussions on the principles, contracts, and products offered by Islamic banking. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and awareness of the importance of choosing financial institutions that comply with Islamic law, as well as the differences between Islamic and conventional banking. Recommendations include the need for deeper financial education, the use of technology in Islamic financial literacy, and the active role of teachers and parents in strengthening this knowledge.

Abstract

This article discusses assistance in implementing the Asr prayer habit in congregation at SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya, which is aimed at increasing students' awareness and participation in carrying out prayers. This activity was carried out for 16 weeks involving class X MPK 1 students as service subjects. This service uses a participatory and collaborative approach, involving Islamic Religious Education students and teachers. The results of the service showed that students' attendance at congregational Asr prayers increased significantly, reaching 100% at the end of the activity. Apart from that, this activity also contributes to the formation of positive character, discipline and responsibility among students. It is hoped that this initiative can become a model for other schools in building student character and spirituality in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures (KKN) are a form of community service carried out by students as part of academic activities at Indonesian universities, especially in the aspect of human resource development. This aims to form a young generation with integrity, responsibility and a high awareness of the values ​​of honesty and transparency. One of the programs implemented is "Socialization to Build the Young Generation as Youth with Character, Agents of Change & Anti-Corruption from an Early Age" which includes anti-corruption counselors. This socialization applies formal educaation methods, case studies and joint discussions designed to instill anti-corruption values ​​and encourage the proactive role of youth as agents of change. The implementation of this program shows an increase in the younger generation's understanding and concern for social issues, as well as strengthening their character as future leaders who are ready to maintain their integrity and contribute positively to society. It is hoped that this program can be a strategic step in developing a young generation who is ready to play an active role in advancing the nation in a sustainable and corruption-free manner.

Abstract

The basic competencies of SMK graduates are demanded to be adaptive according to the needs of the business world and the industrial world. Basic competence is the basis for the depth of graduate competence. Community service aims to improve the basic competence of technical measurement tools for Class XII Students of the Light Vehicle Engineering Department, Ki Hajar Dewantara Vocational School, Brebes Regency. The method used was a workshop that was held on June 5 and 6 2024. The tool used to measure the success of the community service program was the implementation of evaluation at the pre-workshop and post-workshop stages. The results of the activity explained that the pre test was carried out to find out the initial condition of the participants' competence by 15%. Meanwhile, the final competency of the participants, which was carried out through post-workshop evaluation, increased by 66.67%. The provision of Refreshing material and PjBL practicum measuring tools is the key to the success of the workshop.
