Abstract

This study focuses on Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Mojokerto, to understand how the school environment, particularly student’s perceptions, plays a role in shaping their religious values. A survey method with questionnaires was used to collect data from students in grades X, XI, and XII at MAN 1 Mojokerto. Data analysis was conducted to identify school environment factors that influence the formation of student’s religious values. The results showed that the school environment has a significant role in shaping student’s religious values, which is influenced by religious education policies that support comprehensive and meaningful religious education, a religious curriculum that is relevant, interesting, and encourages understanding and practicing religious values, a school social environment that is conducive to learning and discussing religious values, and the role of teachers and staff who are role models and provide good examples in practicing religious values. This research confirms that the school environment has a strong impact on the formation of student’s religious values. The results of this study make an important contribution to understanding the process of forming religious values in the school environment and opening up the possibility of religious values formation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and peer support on academic procrastination in preparing a thesis for batch 2020 FPP students at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya. This type of research is quantitative. The sample used simple random sampling and amounted to 104 students. The data collection method in this study used a measurement scale. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, which aims to predict the effect between variables, including the t-test, f-test, and R2. The result showed that (1) self-efficacy has a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination in preparing a thesis, which is -0.726 and 0,000<0,05. (2) peer support has a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination in preparing a thesis, which is -0.156 and 0,019<0,05. (3) self-efficacy and peer support have simultaneous and significant effects on academic procrastination in preparing a thesis, which is 72,164 and 0,000<0,05.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of student academic procrastination. The research method used is quantitative research using surveys. The survey results showed that from a sample of 109 students, the results were: Low academic procrastination category, namely: 0 students, Medium academic procrastination 98 students (89.90%), High academic procrastination 11 students (10.09%). Based on the survey results, the results showed that the majority of students' level of academic procrastination was in the medium category and some were in the high academic procrastination category. Based on observations, namely: students do assignments at a tight time to submit assignments, and sometimes some students are late in submitting assignments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive education in primary school learning in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The object of the research is the primary school learning process in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Research data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively using an interactive analysis model. The research data were tested for validity using extension of participation, persistence of observation, and triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of inclusive education in primary school learning in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province, has not been optimal in serving all the needs of students regardless of any differences. This can be seen from: 1. The chosen model for providing education for children with disabilities in some primary schools in Kendari city, Southeast Sulawesi province, is an integrated inclusive school. 2. The implementation of learning for children with disabilities for all primary schools in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province, which implement inclusive education with an integrated inclusive school model, in terms of the learning process, still uses the curriculum, infrastructure, teaching, and education personnel, learning media, and the grade promotion system and learning outcomes report system still use the regular system for all students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of religious values of Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor) members. One of the religious-based community organizations capable of realizing the nation's progress is the Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor). How much and how far religious values can influence and shape a person's character depends on how much religious values are embedded in him. This research includes field research, with a qualitative approach, which is research that produces analytical procedures that do not use statistical analysis. The data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show that religious values are fostered by members of GP Ansor Kebojongan Branch by giving good advice, teaching about morals from the book of Taitsirul Kholaq and Akhlakul Banin, as well as teaching the book of Aqidatul Awwam and holding additional activities such as maulidan activities, grave pilgrimage prayers, and others. While the supporting factor is the development of religious values for members of GP. Ansor Ranting Kebojongan, Comal Sub-District, Pemalang Regency is the recitation of the book of Taisul Kholaq, and support from the community, while the inhibiting factors are inadequate infrastructure and the busyness of the members.

Abstract

Effective peer counseling needs to have good cultural competence to ensure effective communication with the counselee. Cultural competence is increasingly important in higher education institutions as campuses are places where students from diverse backgrounds gather. Unfortunately, research exploring the perspectives of peer counselors in Islamic universities still needs further exploration. This study aims to bridge this gap by exploring the perspectives of prospective peer counselors regarding their multicultural understanding. Using a cross-sectional survey design, this research explores the perspectives of thirty-four prospective peer counselors in an Islamic university in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The instrument used is a cultural awareness questionnaire developed based on multicultural awareness theory and cognitive stage development theory. The results indicate that the level of multicultural awareness among Islamic university students still needs improvement, as participants expressed agreement with 82% of items related to duality, indicating that they have a limited view of other cultures and their perspectives on other cultures are still influenced by the perspectives of others. This study then offers several implications to enhance their multicultural awareness to prepare them to become competent peer counselors.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how optimizing educational management can improve the quality of learning through the literature review method. The research method used is a literature review, which involves the collection, analysis, and synthesis of information from various academic sources such as journals, books, research reports, and scholarly articles. The research process begins with the identification and selection of relevant literature, followed by a critical analysis of these sources to evaluate their quality and relevance. Subsequently, the collected information is synthesized to identify common themes and best practices in educational management that can be adopted to improve the quality of learning. The findings of this study indicate that strategic planning, effective organization, well-coordinated program implementation, and robust monitoring and evaluation systems are key components of effective educational management. Additionally, transformational school leadership, community and parental involvement, innovation and adaptation to technological advancements, student well-being, inclusive education, and continuous professional development for teachers also play crucial roles in enhancing the quality of education. These findings support existing theories and contemporary research in educational management, providing a comprehensive framework for improving educational quality through more effective management practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis jenis, faktor, model diagnosis kesulitan belajar, serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar anak di SDN Tellok 1 Galis Bangkalan pada mata Pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Responden utama penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru, dan orang tua di SDN Tellok 1 Galis Bangkalan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola dalam data yang relevan dengan konsep kesulitan belajar dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa menghadapi berbagai macam kesulitan, seperti kesulitan memahami konsep Matematika yang abstrak, keterampilan komputasi yang terbatas, dan rasa takut atau kecemasan terhadap pelajaran tersebut. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar ini meliputi lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan di rumah, serta metode pengajaran yang digunakan oleh guru. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru di sekolah tersebut meliputi penyesuaian dengan gaya belajar siswa, mengadopsi pendekatan yang positif dan pemberian motivasi bagi siswa, serta melakuan kolaborasi yang erat antara guru, orang tua, dan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi model pembelajaran cooperative learning dalam konteks penguatan karakter religius siswa di SMP Raudlatul Ulum Jangkar Tanah Merah Bangkalan. Pembahasan mencakup konsep dasar karakter religius, penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative learning dalam pendidikan, implementasi konkret di SMP Raudlatul Ulum, serta implikasi dari penggunaan model cooperative learning terhadap penguatan karakter religius siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran cooperative learning di SMP Raudlatul Ulum Jangkar Tanah Merah Bangkalan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam memperkuat karakter religius siswa. Dengan fokus pada konsep dasar karakter religius, seperti moralitas, spiritualitas, dan nilai-nilai keagamaan, serta penggunaan model cooperative learning yang mendorong interaksi sosial, kerjasama tim, dan tanggung jawab bersama, penelitian ini menghasilkan implikasi positif. Implementasi praktisnya di sekolah ini melalui aktivitas seperti diskusi kelompok dan pemecahan masalah bersama telah terbukti memperkuat nilai-nilai keagamaan siswa, seperti kesabaran, kejujuran, dan sikap peduli terhadap sesama, menjadikannya pendekatan yang relevan dan berdaya guna dalam konteks pendidikan karakter religius di lingkungan sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the implementation of the Qur'an Healing Technique (QHT) method in overcoming psychiatric disorders in inmates at the Indonesian Qur'an Healing Rehabilitation Islamic boarding school in Rokan Hulu District. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation data. The key informants in this study are the leaders of the Indonesian Qur'an Healing Rehabilitation Islamic boarding school, and 3 informants, namely therapists in the Indonesian Qur'an Healing Rehabilitation Islamic boarding school. From the results of the research on the implementation of the Qur'an Healing Technique (QHT) method in overcoming psychiatric disorders in inmates at the Qur'an Healing Indonesia rehabilitation Islamic boarding school, there are 3 stages. The initial stage is to carry out an assessment and continue with tazkiyatun nafs (cleansing of the soul) where the inmates are taught to pray five times in congregation, reciting, memorizing verses of the Qur'an, and being taught religious sciences that function as a pattern of forming human beings with good morals and fear Allah Swt. In the second stage, namely ruqyah shariah, with prayers and readings from the Qur'an and sunnah that contain requests for help and protection to Allah Swt to prevent or treat diseases and diseases. In the third stage, namely, hijamah which means cupping for cleansing dirty blood and wind, by removing the remaining toxins in the body through the surface of the skin by suctioning. Thus, the implementation of the Qur'an Healing Technique method for inmates with psychiatric disorders has undergone better changes than before, and they feel calmer.
