Abstract

This research investigates the Strategic Plan for Training and Development (RENSTRA DIKLAT) of human resources (HR) in Islamic education organizations amidst the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The primary aim of the study is to evaluate how RENSTRA DIKLAT contributes to HR development within these organizations and to identify effective practices and challenges encountered in this context. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involved in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis across several Islamic educational institutions implementing RENSTRA DIKLAT. The study found that comprehensive needs analysis, strategic planning, and regular evaluations are crucial practices for enhancing HR competencies and motivation. Institutions that successfully integrated technology into their training programs, developed leadership skills and emphasized Islamic values achieved notable improvements in HR development. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure in remote areas were identified, emphasizing the need for support from both government and private sectors. Recommendations for future research include examining the long-term impacts of RENSTRA DIKLAT on institutional performance, exploring strategies to address infrastructure and technology access issues in remote areas, and developing innovative training models that blend digital technology with traditional learning approaches. This research offers valuable insights into best practices for HR development in Islamic education organizations and provides a foundation for further investigation into overcoming existing challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap mutu pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Muhammadiyah Kalosi Kabupaten Enrekang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua, serta analisis dokumen sekolah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah memiliki visi dan misi yang jelas dan berfokus pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan, yang diwujudkan melalui berbagai kebijakan dan strategi inovatif seperti pelatihan rutin bagi guru dan penggunaan metode pengajaran berbasis teknologi. Pengaruh positif dari kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap guru terlihat dari peningkatan kompetensi dan motivasi mereka, sementara siswa menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik dan peningkatan dalam aspek spiritual dan moral. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif orang tua dalam proses pendidikan juga memberikan dukungan tambahan yang signifikan bagi keberhasilan belajar siswa. Meskipun demikian, kepala madrasah menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan, yang berhasil diatasi melalui kerjasama dan inovasi. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung teori kepemimpinan transformasional, instruksional, partisipatif, dan situasional, dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan studi komparatif dan penelitian kuantitatif untuk memperluas pemahaman mengenai peran kepemimpinan dalam konteks yang beragam.

Abstract

Smartphones have become an integral part of modern society, offering a wide range of functions and various positive and negative consequences. Smartphone addiction is associated with adverse mental health outcomes, underscoring the need for further exploration of mental health problems caused by intense smartphone use. The research aims to analyze the prevalence of smartphone addiction and the factors underlying it; as well as the psychological and physiological mechanisms underlying this relationship. The research design uses an exploratory approach to analyze the phenomenon of smartphone addiction in depth, regarding individual lives. Data collection uses a literature review, while data analysis is carried out thematically, and credibility is tested by checking data sources. The research results show that the prevalence of smartphone addiction ranges between 10% - 60% of smartphone users in most of the population, and the percentage is higher for male participants than female participants. The research contributions and implications provide important insights into the phenomenon of smartphone addiction and creating a healthier relationship with technology, by highlighting the prevalence of smartphone addiction in various populations, as well as explaining the psychological and physiological mechanisms underlying the relationship through the interaction of the dopaminergic system, emotion regulation, and the development of the disorder mental health.

Abstract

This study explores how applying premarital guidance through the midodrine tradition shapes family harmony. This research uses a qualitative methodology, namely the Field Research technique. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary, and the data obtained will be analyzed by description. Based on the study's results, it is known that applying premarital guidance through the Midodareni tradition makes the bride-to-be couple provisions as brides and can also know how to form a harmonious family. Premarital guidance through the midodrine tradition is carried out through five stages: Jonggolan, Catur Vedha, Tantingan, Wilujengan Majemukan, and Angsul-Angsul. So it can be concluded that the application of premarital guidance through the midodareni tradition in Forming Family Harmony is very successful, as seen from the decline in divorce rates in Nunggal Sari Village, Rimau Island District, Banyuasin Regency.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to establish the correlation between religion and the level of self-acceptance among parents who have children with special needs. The population consisted of 86 individuals, and the sample size was also 86. The methodology used in this study is quantitative, using field research as the means of data collection. Specifically, observation methods, questionnaires, and documentation were employed. The data analysis undertaken indicates a correlation between religion and self-acceptance among parents who have children with special needs. The R-square normalcy score of 0.023 indicates that there is a 23% correlation between religion and self-acceptance. Scientists conducted a study to assess the strength of the association between religion and self-acceptance, finding a significant link. Therefore, it may be inferred that there is a significant and favorable correlation between religion and self-acceptance. The correlation between religiosity and parents' self-acceptance is positive, indicating that as religiosity increases, so does parents' self-acceptance. In contrast, there is a negative correlation between religion and the self-acceptance of parents with children with special needs at SLBN Banyuasin.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept and urgency of the State for human life and the characteristics of heads of State based on the political thoughts of Al-Farabi, Al-Mawardi, and Ibn Khaldun. Islam, being a religion sprung from Allah, does not limit itself to discussing issues of faith and morality but also delves into all aspects of life, including the government. But it is believed that there is clearly no concept of government or kingship in Islam, nor is there a concept of nation-state in the concept of Islam. Understanding the concept of nation will be easier when we use various angles and viewpoints. Since the verses of the Holy Quran and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad do not mention a nation that does not have a ruler. However, we rush to the AlQuran and Hadist when we want to know the organs of that country. Islam is a comprehensive religion that addresses all issues, both external and internal. Issues of ketatanegaraan, including issues of national concept according to Islam, are likely to be addressed in this duniawi. This kind of study is known as library research using a descriptive-qualitative approach. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the application of social interaction theory in instilling character values within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Islamic educational institutions. The study investigates the extent to which social interaction theory is applied, the factors influencing its effectiveness, and the impact of social interaction on students' character formation. A qualitative approach was utilized, employing a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, school administrators, and students, as well as classroom observations and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns and themes from the data. The findings reveal that social interaction plays a significant role in character education, especially when teachers actively engage students in discussions, peer collaboration, and group work. Schools that provide adequate institutional support and have smaller class sizes create an environment where social interaction can flourish, leading to stronger internalization of values such as empathy, respect, and responsibility. However, the study also highlights challenges such as rigid curricula, cultural resistance, and technological limitations, which hinder the effective implementation of interactive learning methods. In conclusion, social interaction theory offers a valuable framework for character development in PAI learning. Its success depends on the commitment of educators and institutions to fostering collaborative and reflective learning environments. Addressing the identified challenges will be essential for maximizing the benefits of social interaction in character education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of madrasah head management in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Buntu Barana, Enrekang Regency. The primary focus of the research is to identify the management strategies implemented by the madrasah head, measure the impact of such management on teacher performance, and discover the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management implementation. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Research participants consist of the madrasah head, PAI teachers, and administrative staff directly involved in the management and development of teacher competencies. The research findings indicate that the madrasah head plays a strategic role in enhancing PAI teacher competencies through various professional development programs, such as internal and external training, as well as regular evaluations of teacher performance. The management strategies applied involve a transformational leadership approach, where the madrasah head not only provides direction and supervision but also serves as an inspiration for teachers to continue learning and improving the quality of education. The main supporting factor in the implementation of this management is the commitment of the madrasah head and the collaborative spirit among teachers. However, challenges such as limited facilities and financial resources still pose significant obstacles. In conclusion, effective management by the madrasah head has a significant impact on improving the quality of PAI teachers. To strengthen these outcomes, ongoing efforts are needed in teacher capacity development, enhancing external collaboration, and optimizing available resources.

Abstract

This study aims to understand teachers' experiences in developing their digital competence in the era of educational digitalization through a phenomenological approach. The research focuses on the factors influencing teachers' digital competence, the challenges they face, and the role of institutional support such as schools, education policies, and professional training. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with participating teachers and field observations. The data is then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify key themes that emerge from the teachers' subjective experiences. The findings show that teachers' digital competence is influenced by access to technological infrastructure, prior experience with technology, and institutional support. Teachers in urban areas are generally better prepared to face digitalization compared to teachers in remote areas, who experience limitations in technological access. Additionally, relevant professional training and supportive education policies play a crucial role in enhancing teachers' digital competence. However, challenges such as psychological pressure and ethical dilemmas in maintaining social interaction with students also emerge as barriers in this adaptation process. In conclusion, holistic support, both technical and emotional, is essential to help teachers effectively develop their digital competence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum management in increasing students' learning motivation at SMP Pondok Modern Darul Falah Enrekang. In addition, this research seeks to identify the factors that influence students' learning motivation within the context of Islamic education in pesantren and provide recommendations on strategies that can be applied in PAI curriculum management to enhance learning motivation, especially in the digital era. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the school principal, PAI teachers, and students, classroom observations during PAI lessons, and document analysis related to the curriculum. The data were analyzed interactively through the processes of data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that PAI curriculum management plays a significant role in fostering students' learning motivation by integrating religious and academic aspects, thus creating a meaningful and relevant learning environment for students. Factors such as interactive teaching methods, the relevance of learning materials to everyday life, and peer support were found to be important elements influencing students' learning motivation. The study also identifies that the use of digital technology in the learning process, as well as curriculum flexibility that allows teachers to adjust materials to meet students' needs, can further enhance learning motivation. Based on these findings, the research recommends increasing the use of digital tools, providing more autonomy for teachers in designing lessons and implementing continuous evaluation to create a more dynamic and motivating learning environment.
